Dr. Aposperis has been my foot doctor for at least 30 years. I think he is very knowledgeable, thoughtful and compassionate. The shoe inserts he made for me long ago still bring total comfort to my walking. I visit him regularly for hammer toe problems and foot maintenance, and come away «walking on air». His wife, the office manager, is on top of all billing and has high standards for competency and efficiency. Dealing with Medicare bureaucracy is a trying experience at best. I recommend the SB Foot Clinic highly!

Warning Bad Doctor! I went with a sore ankle and arch, 9 months later after he wasted time and $ adjusting bad shoe inserts, I could barely walk. I had to find an orthopedic surgeon to help me. His wife is the office manager and she bills incorrectly !!! Stay away !!

Very friendly and helpful. The receptionist comes off a bit strong but she’s a sweet lady. Dr. Aposperis is high quality, you can tell he takes the time to listen to you and help you with any questions and concerns.
Being treated with kindness goes a long way for me and they do it well at this foot clinic.

State Street Ballet (Santa Barbara’s ballet company) recommended him to me. Days earlier, another doctor apathetically told me I should stop dancing (yikes!), that I was developing arthritis in my toe joint (I’m 23!), and that I should just start physical therapy for 6 weeks and then come back.
Dr. Aposperis knew right away what was wrong with my foot before even looking at my Xrays, and said it wasn’t even caused by my ballet shoes! He knew exactly what to do and gave me a great path to recovery. Thank goodness I found him, or else my life would have been very negatively affected.
Not to mention, they made sure to schedule me in immediately, whereas the other doctor made me wait two weeks even though I was having trouble walking and really needed to see somebody.
Everyone in his office is wonderful, too!
