100% Australian. Moved to USA in 1995 – 1996 to attend college at SBCC. Played a little football and working with moving companies. Then went on to Oregon State University. Played a little football and received a BS in Exercise and Sports Science.

Played a little more football then founded Aussie Moving in Santa Barbara.

Under Budget! I have used this company at my office so when it was time to move houses I had them back. A friend of mine used a different moving company that quoted him $ 1400 for his move but ended up going over budget by $ 600. I was hoping the same thing didn’t happen to me. Especially when I was quoted $ 1400 for the move. However everything went smoothly with Aussie moving and the job ended up being a few hundred dollars under budget. First time for everything. Will definitely use them again.

Another fantastic move with Aussie! They just left and again all we can talk about is how great they are. The owner, Paul, wasn’t here this time and his crew was just as efficient and pleasant as always. I will say they are the most patient group because I am NOT an easy move. I have used Aussie 6 times now in the past year for various things, including moving my own home twice. They were patient, joked and provided much needed guidance to get this done. Without a doubt, I recommend them. Many thanks to JC — my backbone this move, Richard and Dave, and all of their extras (Joe and Luke) they pulled in to bring my move to a new home.

We love Aussie Moving! We have used them for all our moves and for moving stuff for our school auction. Paul is great! He never once complained when I asked to have an extremely heavy piece of furniture upstairs (twice)… then back down again after I decided it wasn’t going to look good up there I felt horrible but Paul had a good laugh at it!
Aussie Moving is always on time, very professional and even have extra boxes and tools if you need them. I will definitely be using them again. Thanks Paul for making moving a little less stressful!

So we used Aussie movers about a week ago for our in town move. I couldn’t have been happier. They were careful, on time, hardworking and overall just a great team. Moving sucks, but these guys really helped make the move a lot easier. Plus, it was the right price. I got quotes from two other companies that were, I kid you not, twice as expensive. Paul — thanks a ton. I will be recommending you guys without reservation in the future.

When we found a piano on Craigslist, the next thing we needed was a way to have it moved. I called a few movers listed on Unilocal in Santa Barbara, and immediately felt at ease speaking with Paul (the Aussie).
Paul’s price was a bit better than the competition, and he also had a discount promotion available through Unilocal,which sweetened the deal.
Paul communicated as promised, arrived on time, and carefully and quickly moved the piano, along with his excellent helper, Ted.
The fear of hiring movers is that you’ll end up with College kids who may be strong but not have the experience to care for something fragile. Paul does the work himself and has the strength (he’s built like a giant) and maturity to take care of things properly.
I was able to pay the balance using Paul’s iPad and receive a receipt via email instantly.
Excellent service and I would not hesitate to use or recommend them again.

I have just used Aussie to move our belongings from Santa Barbara to LA. The team (Adam, David and Chris) were friendly, polite, extremely hard-​working and moved everything with the minimum of fuss and maximum of efficiency. I have moved 4 times in the past 10 years and these guys are the best team I’ve encountered. Aussie were also the least expensive (by far) of the three quotes I got and Paul, the owner, was true to his word on the final bill — no hidden extras or surprise charges. Highly recommend!!!

Highly, highly recommended. My girlfriend and I have used Aussie Moving twice and each time has easily been the best moving experience by far. They show up on time and ask lots of questions to make sure things are to our liking. They work very efficiently but without rushing to ensure items are handled with care.
We moved locally within Santa Barbara the first time and from SB to LA the second time, and in each case, were incredibly impressed with Aussie Moving. Really reasonable rate too that came in under other SB moving companies’ quotes.

Paul is the strongest man I have ever met! These guys moved me once and did an amazing job. Paul is on top of it and in charge. Unfortunately the second time they moved me, Paul neglected to tell me that he would be out of town. His team was NOT the same without him, slow, somewhat careless and they brought a van which was too small. In the end I had to drive my own car back to the house three times (50 miles each way!) to get the remainder of my things. I was pretty disappointed with how badly they packed the truck; I;m pretty sure it would have fit if Paul were there. Make sure he is if you use them –I’d give them four or five stars with his management but was really disappointed that he didn’t tell me he would send a lazy crew for the second move.

These guys are phenomenal. They loaded and moved our 3 bedroom house across town in a little under 4 hours. That’s right, under 4 hours. Usually my husband and I agree to hate each other for two weeks pre and post move. We recently added a baby to the mix so we thought we’d splurge and hire movers. Best. Idea. Ever. I knew we made the right choice when I watched them carry my dresser upstairs to our new master bedroom while I sat on our couch with a glass of wine in my hand. They were very funny and charming. I’m almost looking forward to the next time we move. Almost.

Aussie Moving is extremely professional and reliable. We have used them for moving small things (a piano — in the rain no less!) to big things (moving from one house to another). Always excellent customer service, and the owner is easy to communicate with. Prices are very competitive too. Highly recommended by our family.
