High karat gold, vibrant precious gems and multi-​layered metalwork characterize the distinctive look of Daniel Gibbings. Truly unique pieces are realized through a time intensive process beginning with an original vision, sketching, stone sourcing, model making and then the final fabrication in precious metal. Such radiant jewels come to fruition because of the collaboration between Daniel Gibbings, the creative talent, and Setenay Ozdemir-​Osman, the business partner.

Business Owner

Daniel Gibbings spent his childhood in South Africa where a rich craft tradition sparked his interest in design. Further travels in Europe and the Mid East, with visits to museums housing many of the world’s great art collections deepened his appreciation for metalworking dating back to the antiquities. He pursued an education at Jaffa School of Art in Israel and Sir John Cass Faculty of Art in London to master many of these techniques. Over two decades ago, Daniel set up his studio in Santa Barbara, California, where he continues to explore old and new ways of elevating the finest precious materials to their greatest potential.
