History

Established in 2015.

My mission is to help guide each budding soul into full, glorious blossom.

My vision is to support these individuals in becoming their brightest selves; confident in heart, conscientious in mind, caring in spirit; setting the world ablaze with their light.

I am passionate about teaching and supporting young adults to find their way in the world because I sought for this same guidance when I was younger. I had always hoped that there was someone who would help me find my way and help to set me on my path. It is out of this yearning that I established Nita June: Educational Consultant.

Meet the Business Owner

Nita D.

Business Owner

Originally from Boulder, CO, I then moved East to New York and then on to London, followed by a leap West to San Francisco and Santa Monica, finally settling in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA.

I hold a Bachelors degree Magna Cum Laude from Barnard College, and I followed this course of study with a Master of Fine Arts in Contemporary Performance with a focus on Teaching and Directing from Naropa University. I have been a Waldorf high school teacher for five years, and have been teaching and guiding for twelve years in both public and private school environments.

In addition to tutoring and guidance work, I am a theater director, a runner, an outdoor enthusiast, a devoted wife, and true lover of all things imaginative and creative.
