History

Established in 2010.

Amy Cooper is the proud founder, owner, buyer and worker bee at Plum Goods. After moving to Santa Barbara from the Bay Area in 1996, Amy continued her work in communications, opening her own freelance writing and marketing company called Inspired Ink. In the summer of 2010 she was ready for a change and found her calling in creating Plum. Her inspiration was a passion for beautiful things made with integrity; a love for Santa Barbara and a vision of creating something that could only be found here; a desire to connect with the community and with people on a daily basis; and a need to make a difference for the environment. She sources worldwide to find beautiful things that are handcrafted, fair trade, eco-friendly or simply inspiring. Plum Goods encourages you to love where you live — your home, your town, your planet — and love what you give — of yourself, to yourself, and to others. And to have fun while you’re at it. Come by and see what we have in store.
