Dr. Kolarczyk has two conveniently located offices. Santa Barbara was opened in 1987 near Mission and State Streets. We opened in the Santa Inez Valley in 1991 in the heart of Solvang. We look forward to helping you with all your eye care needs.

Our certified optician, Sheila Fox Tanksley, has over 20 years optical experience and will ensure out patients are fitted with the finest frames and lenses. We gladly accept prescriptions from outside eye care providers.

Business Owner

Dr. Kolarczyk is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in eye diseases and surgery of the eye. A 1982 graduate of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Kolarczyk went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Kolarczyk was appointed chief resident at GBMC in 1986. After completing his residency, Dr. Kolarczyk moved to California and opened his private practice in his wife’s hometown of Santa Barbara.

Dr. Kolarczyk volunteers his time seeing patients for the Lions Club, SEE International and Eyecare of America. He has given well-​received presentations at the Braille Institute and Santa Barbara City College Adult Education classes. Dr. Kolarczyk is president of the Board of Directors of Cornerstone House, a residential home for the severely disabled.

In his spare time, Dr. Kolarczyk enjoys his family, sports, fitness, reading, music and traveling.
