TechEase was co-​founded in 2003, and has since moved from the original location on Gutierrez Street to their current location on Upper State Street. Originally intended to focus on both homes and small business equally, TechEase quickly shifted to small business and non-​profit tech support with the addition of several key Microsoft Certified engineers.

Evan co-​founded TechEase Computer Repair in 2003 and has since focused on helping Santa Barbara businesses and non-​profits with their technology needs. The recipient of the Pacific Coast Business Times’ 40 Under 40 Award, Evan’s goal was to establish a company that provided personal attention and the highest caliber technicians for organizations that were too small to warrant a full-​time IT staff.

dont waste you’re time… they dont work on mac’s at all??? more than half the population has a mac!?! YET THEY DONT WORK ON THEM… odd telling a tech company this but, get with the times already! wtf?!

Techease have done it again. I’ve called twice and both times the service has been fantastic. Our printer wasn’t working and I had to get an urgent document out and one of our computers wouldn’t start. I called in the morning and dave was there in the afternoon. To a non techie he’s a bit like superman. He flies in, knows exactly what is going on and just fixes things. No fuss, no bravado just great, fast, service. Excellent firm, highly recommended.

Four plus years on our office speed dial. Reliable, professional and up-​to-​date technicians whether working remote or on-​site. My staff is comfortable with them working in «our space.» I appreciate their response time whether a major melt-​down or maintenance request. Better up-​dates when a technician is running late would be awesome, but hasn’t been a reoccurring problem.

There is nothing about Techease that I could critique negatively. Up until 8 years ago I had been using the services of another local tech support and repair company (Mr. Pink the Computer Shrink). Realizing that they were not solving my problem, yet spending prodigious time trying, I decided to try someone else. I called Techease and within 10 minutes of arriving they solved the problem that the previous operation had spent hours trying to fix.
Eight years later with countless problems solved and fires put out I still feel that Techease deserves a five star rating

I met the owner, Evan at a Tweet-​up many years ago, and have called on his team ever since. They’re extremely courteous, do their absolute best to help, and Evan is sometimes there to pick up the phone himself — he’s very hands-​on. Today when I urgently needed them they made (Adrian) available on short notice and gave me a discount for being a loyal customer. Evan is extremely committed to his customers, and I suspect he’d like to be able to clone himself since he’s always busy. His integrity is above reproach. Highly recommended.

I brought my computer in for a simple cleaning, and I’m pleased with the results. They were courteous. Unfortunately, they can’t tell customers when work will be completed, since there’s no way to know how long work will take. I have no problem with this. They said they’d call me when they were done, but they didn’t. This is something that needs to improve. Nevertheless, I’d use them again.

These guys were very friendly and knowledgable. My only complaints are that they said they would get back to me in an hour but it took several and they were unable to direct me to someone who could fix the hardware in my computer (which they were not able to fix themselves).
