History

Established in 1922.

The Funk Zone is Santa Barbara’s arts, business & industrial district encompassing State St, Garden St, Montecito St and Cabrillo Blvd. This conglomeration of historical marine structures, industrial lots, and old houses gives the Funk Zone it’s face, the occupants that live and work there give it soul, and the visitors give it life!
