2-Day CCNA Boot Camp

The 2 Day CCNA boot camp with Nick Biller was an awesome experience… It is a totally different experience when you watching an online video and trying to configure OSPF/​EIGRP/​etc and struggling trying to troubleshoot versus trying to configure OSFP/​EIGRP with a live instructor who is very knowledgeable in every aspect of the configuration… After the boot camp experience, I feel like I’ve acquired so much knowledge, and know I have to apply in trying to get my CCNA Certification… One thing that surprised me about the instructor is how he was able to troubleshoot and resolve my classmates issues when trying to follow the instructor. That shows the he has had a lot of experience in the field… Thank you again for the help…
One thing that I will add, is just like the other people that have commented on this, is to make sure to have some background in networking. The class is fast pace, due to the amount of information that is needed to be understood and covered in 2 days. I would say minimum certification to get in preparation for this class is CompTIA’s Network+ and to also learn subnetting.

The bootcamp is awesome, very informative and the curriculum is up to date. Nick will tackle all the topics that is included in the exam and its very accurate. If he didn’t mention it, then its not included. Before i went to the bootcamp, i have very basic knowledge about CCNA. And after the bootcamp, not only I aquire a lot of information, I was also very motivated to study to learn more.
The bootcamp is highly recommended, Nick is great guy and an expert, and the place is very nice!
P. S. If you planning to a attend Nick’s 2-​day CCNA bootcamp, make sure that you have a basic knowledge in networking and master your subnetting.

This is the best boot camp class I’ve ever taken. If you’re serious about networking and you want to get your certifications than this is the class for you.

If you are serious about getting your Cisco CCNA, you need to enroll in this class! Nick is very knowledgeable and takes to time to cover the topics necessary to prepare for the CCNA testing tracks. He also answered real-​world scenario questions that the group had.
Having the class over the weekend saved me from using vacation days to get prepared for these tests!

I completed Nick’s class a few weeks back and here are some impressions:
— Nick is LEGIT. He knows his stuff and it shows.
— The class is NOT for the faint-​of-​heart. If you’re a rookie to the IT world, you’re better served doing a NET+ class beforehand. Remember, 2 DAYS is all you (and Nick) get to cover 4 Cisco modules worth of information. I can’t stress this point enough! Do yourself a favor and don’t take this boot camp without some knowledge of network/​switching/​subnetting concepts. I recommend the book «CCNA in 60 days» (free rental on
for prime members) and gns3 or packet tracer or a real router/​switch.
— Learned a ton from this class. Nick’s curriculum is WELL designed, easy-​to-​follow, and includes highlights for the most important points. I’d pay probably half the tuition cost for this material alone — well worth it!
— Lots of time on the routers/​switches which is always fun!
— Bring some snacks/​bottled water if you have trouble going more than a few hours w/​out food. continental-​type breakfast is included, along with a hearty lunch.
— Location, location, location! 16^th floor overlooking sf skyline. Can’t get better than that. I found myself walking around on multiple occasions to clear my brain, stretch and enjoy the beautiful views of the city.
— After the course you NEED TO PUT INTO practice all the info that was crammed into every crevice of your brain.
I had some good networking knowledge before the course, spent 3 weeks studying afterward and passed my CCNA with relative ease.
I would take his class again in a heartbeat and am eagerly awaiting the day he introduces a CCDA course (I’m looking at you Nick!)

Nick is a blessing for all of us out there looking for CCNA but low on $$$ to afford the boot camps. Nick’s CCNA class are very well covered to prepare you to pass your CCNA exams. He is a good teacher. He is good at keeping all different levels of individual brilliance in check during class so that we all move on together in his class. Lots of hands on materials in class and its worth it. I even had a person in my group from North Carolina coming all the way to Bay Area for this class. Nick’s class is a great deal in terms of $$$ and Knowledge gained. Thank You Nick. Keep up the good work.

Highly recommend this CCNA boot camp. Personally, I was looking to make sure I could be ready for my CCNA test, having fairly good CIsco/​Networking background.
While I had probably the most background knowledge of the class, the range of base knowledge varied a lot from non-​IT to those who had some experience. Nick did a stand up job keeping the class moving, while not leaving other students behind. The class is comprehensive, clearly taught, with minimal lecture and maximum hands-​on labs with Cisco switches and routers.
I took the CCNA combined test (200 – 120) and passed, thanks Nick!

I had limited knowledge of Cisco routers and switches prior to taking Nick’s class. I was mostly doing show interface commands and pinging IP addresses. Nick’s class was the launching point that got me to my CCNA. It took me a couple of months of independent studying after the camp to feel comfortable enough to take the exams, but I was able to pass both ICND1 & ICND2 on my first attempt.

I took the comprehensive CCNA exam (ICND1 + ICND2) about three week after the course and I passed it with a high score, yay! :) Make sure you are totally comfortable with subnet mask and practice the lab exercises Nick provides!

Nick is legit. I learned more in two days than in previous months of study using other self paced coursework. The tips and insight really helped in understanding the material and made it much more accessible. Nick is a great motivator and communicates concisely and stays on point. He is very well informed about testing strategy, what will be on tests, but doesn’t hesitate to offer the real world advice as well. I really enjoyed the pace of the class, since other courses I’ve taken were very slow and left me wanting. No real negatives to think of, the gear provided was all very clean and serviceable, all the labs just worked, no messing around. This is the real deal, and what a great teacher Nick is. So glad I was able to attend this course. I used a mac, but have a PC or VM to use packet tracer is advised.

Great course, good material and straight to the point. Very Hands on and fun at the same time. Alot of info so be prepared for a long weekend. Best way for teeing yourself up for the CCNA exam.

Passed my 100 – 101, I’m officially a CCENT! Off to take test 2 for CCNA

Nick is an awesome instructor. I have been to many and I mean many corporate training programs and I can say without a doubt that Nick’s 2 day CCNA boot camp is by far the best deal out there. Because I have a hard time grasping information, Nick took his time and personally gave me the extra nudge to get over the mental hump that I was experiencing. He customized his program in a simple way for anyone to learn CCNA. Nick is definitely a professional in networking with a CCIE cert to back it up. On top of that, he served with the USAF for almost a decade and was responsible for our country’s network infrastructure. How cool is that? Truly I wish that I could go there for the next level up (CCNP) after I pass my test in 2 weeks (putting my hours in). I’m definitely spreading the word to everyone that I know in the IT world about this boot camp. Thanks Nick!

I took nicks class a couple months ago and am just now getting to the review… But wow, i was super impressed with how well put together the curriculum was. Tons if hands on and every bit if it was made interesting, even the complex lecture. I finally got around to studying, and passed! Thanks nick!

Exactly what I was looking for! A quick hands on CCNA class, that didn’t cost me my arm. I was looking for something like this to show me what exactly to study for the CCNA test, glad I did it, thanks again Nick!!!

I run an ISP in Southern California Los Angeles Area. I wanted to get a fast CCNA boot camp course so I can speed through my exam. I looked for something here in southern cal, but all I could find is this CCNA boot camp in Santa Clara. The price was right, so I booked it. In fact, I also booked my son, so it was the 2 of us. I must say I was so very impressed. I am already very knowledgeable in Cisco, just needed the exam prep, so I was thinking there was going to be some flaws in the study. Boy was I wrong. Nick was knowledgeable, friendly, and very serious about the study course. He was truly and genuinely interested in our passing the test, and not just that, but also understanding the concepts. All I can say is — BRAVO. Good Job Nick. You are doing a great service and I have really appreciated our 2 days! Worth every penny!

Being new to and having no background in IT, I have to say that this class was surprisingly easy to follow. For me, this was a nice introduction to networking and I definitely feel more confident now, that I could study and be able to fully understand the material and pass the CCNA. For that reason, I believe that this boot camp is suitable for a wide audience, as it can act as either an introduction or a review.
The only thing I really had trouble with was focusing towards the end of class (around hour 10). So be sure to get enough sleep the night before and bring energy drinks!

The 2-​Day CCNA Boot Camp is exactly what I was looking for. I had a basic understanding of networking concepts but after taking the course it really helped shore up some pieces that I didn’t have a complete grasp on (i.e. — subnet masking) and also gave me exposure to Cisco Switch/​Router configuration.
For me, the results were immediate as I deal with some aspects of networking in my day to day role at work. Also, I just found out that one of my bootcamp-​mates recently made a career change as a direct result of the course!
If you’re willing to dedicate a weekend for the course and take time to study the materials that Nick has created then I have no doubt that you will be successful come time to take the CCNA. Just be ready to work because there is plennnty of material to get through!

For two (long) days you will be studying Cisco routers and switches. When you leave your brain hurts. Push yourself and follow the study routine that Nick lays out and you will be ready to pass your first Cisco certification.
Highly recommend for people with some Technical/​IT skills as Cisco tests are not easy. Overall I was happy with my experience at the 2-​Day CCNA Boot Camp.
