When I started researching wedding vendors, I was drawn early on to Lindsey & Bellalu. I still remember visiting their website and feeling breathless at the gorgeous, natural beauty that Lindsey captured in the photos. In fact, I was so convinced that Bellalu was our wedding photographer that my meeting with Lindsey happened after booking the venue, but before the ring was finished.
From my first meeting with Lindsey to discuss what my thoughts were about wedding photos, she was so incredibly warm and kind and funny. At the risk of sounding a little weird, I found myself wishing simultaneously that we were related, that we were friends, and that I was her. I loved her passion for her craft, but also her philosophy about wedding photography. I felt absolutely no hesitation booking her for both our engagement photos and our wedding.
Our engagement photos turned out beautifully (which was, of course, no surprise). I tend to feel relatively unphotogenic, and my then-​fiancé sometimes is a little camera shy himself, but Lindsey’s warm and down-​to-​earth demeanor loosened us up and produced incredible results. She did such a great job capturing the beautiful fall light in gorgeous photos that somehow also captured the nuances of my relationship with my now-​husband.
On the day of or July 2015 wedding, Lindsey and Nathan were photo ninjas – somehow everywhere at the right time, but not at all intrusive. They captured such beautiful photos, not only of the love and joy between my husband and I, but also the love and joy our guests were experiencing. I can’t imagine trusting the photos of such a special time in our lives to anyone else.
I could go on and on, but the short version is this: Lindsey and Nathan are truly awesome.

BellaLu did an amazing job on both our engagement and wedding photos. We could not be happier with how they turned out!
My husband and I are both very awkward, not photogenic people, but Lindsey and Nate made us feel really comfortable throughout the day. Our guests also loved them. They weren’t intrusive, but somehow added to the fun of the day. The pictures were really incredible and captured all the emotion that I was hoping to see. I really don’t know how they seemed to be in so many places at once.
Oh, and Lindsey came to the rescue early in the day when she found the clasp of my dress that popped off when we were trying to get it on. Phew!

If I could give BellaLu Photography more stars, I would! They are an unbelievable team and even more unbelievable people! We absolutely LOVED having Lindsay and Nate shoot our wedding. After we got engaged, I was on facebook and saw these stunning photos of a college friend’s wedding and HAD to have their photographer shoot our wedding. As soon as I began emailing with Lindsay, I knew that we were going to get along and when we met for the first time at our engagement session, I couldn’t have been more right. She is so fun-​loving and down to earth and immediately made my husband and I comfortable in front of the camera. Lindsay had us laughing the entire time and I remember being so sad when we were done because I just wanted to keep hanging out with her!
Flash forward to our wedding day and as soon as Lindsay entered the house, an energy came that was so exciting. Not only did she get to work right away taking photos, but she was also AMAZING in a crisis. At one point, she was in the back sewing one of my bridesmaid’s dresses! She also helped fix my hair before the reception after we had done some shoots outside in the wind. Nate was so awesome and fit in with the guys right away. He had the most amazing blue pants on too that were perfect for our wedding color scheme :)!
Honestly, I could go on and on about how amazing Lindsay and Nate are. They were one of my most favorite parts of our wedding day. I can’t wait to use them in the future for other big events and would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are simply brilliant. Not only is their work out of this world awesome, they truly enjoy what they do and make their clients extremely happy.

If you are even considering anyone else, STOP. Immediately. No, really I mean it. I never ever write reviews (which may make some of you weary) but instead save my recommendations for those vendors that are truly amazing.
Lindsey and Nathan are just that. AMAZING. I cannot express how happy we are that we chose BellaLu. I did a TON of research and met with different photographers. Lindsey immediately hooked me with her bubbly and super friendly personality. I knew my fiancé and I would be comfortable around her (which would yield the best, natural photos). In fact, BellaLu was the very first wedding vendor we booked.
Leading up to the big day Lindsey was great about answering any questions that I had (and believe me, I had a lot) and I never felt out of touch with them.
Our «engagement shoot» was about a month before the wedding due to us wanting it in SF and we had to wait for good weather. it was a blast and the photos are STUNNING. My fiancé and I have never taken professional photos and were unsure of how we were supposed to pose or stand or really do anything but Lindsey was there the whole way and coached us through the entire session. She was super encouraging and created beautiful photos.
On the day of, Lindsey and Nate were on time and super professional (without being stuffy). They ran our shot list like perfection and Lindsey even helped me take my veil off and bustle my dress when I couldn’t find any of my bridesmaids. Nathan spent time with the guys and they all had a blast.
Any couple would be so lucky to have these two shoot their wedding, baby photos or any photos! If you are at all hesitant, take it from someone who totally understands that feeling and trust me, these guys are totally worth it!

Lindsey & Nathan are… wow, just wow. AMAZING doesn’t begin to describe them from their talent down to their souls this husband and wife duo are a special treat on this earth. To know them is to love them and to be their client and have your wedding day (or any special day) captured by them is a privilege that everyone should experience. Seriously, book them. Book them now!

I looked at over 50 photographers before deciding to go with BellaLu and I definitely made the right decision. Lindsey and Nate were amazing to work with. They shot our June wedding as well as our engagement photos. The best part about them is that they capture the little moments. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or like the photo was being staged. Our photos were stunning and all of our guests LOVED them.
Lindsey is not only one of the best photographers I have ever met but she is also a very upbeat and helpful person. My dress was slipping down at the wedding and Lindsey was the first person to bring me upstairs to fix it. Nate was fabulous with the ring bearers who were 3 and 5 years old. I could go on and on but to make a long story short they went above and beyond.
One warning… Lindsey and Nate can be VERY busy. Make sure to contact them in advance, they sometimes take a couple days to get back to you. I guess the best photographers are the busy ones! Trust me though, they are absolutely worth it!

I am absolutely, head over heels in love with BellaLu Photography and their work. In fact, I have been ever since I saw the engagement and wedding pictures they did for our college friends a couple years ago. Their photographs were breath taking and I knew that when my boyfriend asked me to marry him, hiring BellaLu would be one of my top priorities.
And that was exactly the case – before having a wedding dress, before having a venue, before even really settling on a date, my now husband and I hired Lindsey and Nathan for our wedding photography and aside from the decision of finally getting married, hiring them was probably the best one we made over the last year of wedding planning.
We will never, ever be able to fully express just how much we appreciate everything that Lindsey and Nate did for us on the day of our wedding. My husband raved about Nate and how cool he was with the guys while they were prepping before the ceremony and there are sooooo many things that Lindsey did for me and the girls that I can’t even keep count but I’m going to recount my top 5: 1) She kept me calm about the timeline when I started fretting about getting to the church on time; 2) When in the limo I realized that I was hungry, she produced a Kind bar for me to munch on and made sure to keep the chocolate one away from me so I wouldn’t get dirty; 3) She nonchalantly took us into our hotel’s restaurant while it was closed to take what I imagine will be beautiful photographs of me and my bridesmaids; 4) she freaking bustled my dress!!!; 5) and when I got bummed that the handmade red flower hair pin I had bought for the reception was misplaced she simply took a red rose from my bouquet and secured it in my hair so fast I barely knew what had happened.
I can keep going on and on but I’ll stop there. I think every time I remember something else that they did for us on our wedding day I’m just going to e-​mail them like a stalker to tell them. We’re just so extremely grateful for everything: their patience, their stealthness, their eye for the perfect shot. We got our preview shots yesterday and we cannot be more thrilled about seeing how the rest of the photographs came out.
Seriously, if you’re thinking about hiring them for your wedding day, I have two words: DO IT! You won’t regret it!

Lindsey and Nate are the artists that captured our daughter and son-in-law’s engagement and wedding day. AMAZING! The coolest thing about Lindsey and Nate is how they captured the essence of Mariel and George. Mariel and George are not the typical couple. Lindsey and Nate got that right away and their photography reflects that.
The other thing I want to mention is that we were not aware of Lindsey and Nate taking all the candid photos at the wedding. They were so stealth and professional. The most important element is that they captured everything in the most beautiful way without feeling intrusive. Although I must say, I wouldn’t have minded if they were intrusive. Lindsey and Nate are so fun and easy to be around!

BellaLu is amazing and worth what you pay them. My husband hired them for his proposal and she flew down to Disneyland for the day to capture it all. We hire them for our engagement and wedding photos. I look at these photos daily because they are so amazing. WORTH IT!

Lindsey has shot family photos for our family, and we were thrilled. She was able to keep the attention of our two young boys who do not enjoy having their pic taken & the results were awesome. Based on our experience, we referred my brother & future sis-​in-​law to BellaLu for their wedding photos. We recently got a sneak peek of Lindsey & Nathan’s shots from their wedding and were blown away! I mean, we knew they were good, but WOW. Their photos told a story & brought us all back to that sweet & special day. Lindsey & Nathan completely captured the overall essence of my brother & sister’s wedding, along with every sweet detail, & our family is so blessed by their talents – their personalities, their creativity, their eye, their vision… so specially commemorating a big day in our lives.

love, love, love the work that Lindsey does! we were introduced to Lindsey and her husband at a friend’s wedding and we adored the engagement and wedding photos she did for them. we had her take our engagement photos and we were laughing and smiling the entire time because she makes it such a fun and easy experience! i think we want to get married again just to have her take pictures! we got married in maui, but if budget had permitted, i would have flown them over in a heartbeat and had them do the wedding. i stalk their blog to see all the beautiful photos they post :)

Lindsey is amazing! We just saw our engagement photo shoot and they are beautiful! Both Lindsey and Nathan made the session totally fun and laid back, which made great photos that we will enjoy for years. Can’t wait to have them both at my wedding! BellaLu is also great because they will work with your budget and customize a package that’s right for you. Overall I’m really impressed.

Words can’t describe Lindsey’s work… She is amazing, I have loved her work that I seen on Facebook and finally had the opportunity to have her take pictures of both of my kids… I have never cried when I have gotten pictures back of my kids… But when I looked at my previews today, the tears were running down my face. I have a large age span with my kids. Lindsey was able to connect with my four year old and I can say I have the best pictures ever… The pictures that she took show my kids true expressions… I can’t wait to do a family portrait later this year… And my kids birthday pictures… I just can’t say enough

Can’t say enough about how terrific Lindsey is. Had her do a maternity photo shoot for me, my hubby, and 2 kids. The photos were incredible – I love how she captures the joy and natural smiles, esp of the kids.

Lindsey is the only person who has ever taken professional photographs of my children. I am so thankful to have found her and for her having captured such breath taking images of my children. She has a way with kids that makes them feel like family and a warmth that will make you feel instantly comfortable with her. I highly recommend her for whatever occasion or milestone your are wanting to have photographed. You won’t regret it!

I just got a preview of my some of the images that were taken of my grandbabies and I was overcome, overwhelmed and completely blown away! I have had the pleasure of having my family do a photo shoot with Lindsey. We did a beach shoot with her and we had a blast! The kids ran around, played in the sand and Lindsey was able to capture moments of them playing and loving on one another. She makes the session comfortable and easy, you forget someone with a camera is following you!
