Cute Flowers

If I could give a lower rating believe me i would! I ordered flowers through Teleflora for my mother and another friend, beautiful arrangements. One with peonies and ivy for $ 133. and one with pink tulips and white paper narcissus with white iris for my mother $ 100 her favorite flowers. What I got was two arrangements from this place… the first was a bunch of hydrangeas with a little ivy… about $ 65 worth and for my mother’s tulips arrangement…8 orange tulips not pink, snapdragons only ½ in bloom and DAY LILIES!!! OMG! Do you have any idea how many people are allergic to DAY LILIES! Including my mother with asthma! I had to throw them out in the garbage immediately and then there were some green leafy things and a huge yellow bow? Honestly! Did you even SEE pictures of what we ordered? This was a great Mother’s Day up to the flowers. My best advice… learn more about flowers in general and providing what is requested in particular. BELIEVE ME… this review will be going to Teleflora as well.

Made my mom happy with a colorful and beautiful flower arrangement from Cute Flowers. They have good variety and quality flowers. They are also very courteous with great customer service. Definitely going back here for all my floral needs! Thank you!

The gentleman working here is very polite and helpful but the lady was extremely rude, she raised her voice at my friend and later snapped at us when we commented that we don’t usually get asked for our billing address when we use a credit card in a store. We were very upset when we left. Also, flowers are overpriced (significantly higher than flowers I’ve purchased in Mountain View and Sunnyvale).

This is a nice neighborhood small business shop. It is packed with all kinds of flower arrangements, stuffed animals and other goodies.
I called in an order for my sweetheart while sitting in a car beside the road back east during a raging rainstorm. I asked for a Halloween based arrangement for delivery and gave the owner a ballpark budget. They did the rest and delivered the flowers that day.
As you can see from the picture, this is probably one of the nicest looking flower arrangements I have ever seen. The facebook «Likes» went wide and I came out of it looking like a super dude.

Last year I ordered two dozen balloons for a party and pre-​paid. A few days before the party I got sick and canceled the order. Today, a year later, I walked in and the gal at the cash register said «I recognize you». There was my order pinned next to the cash register. She said there would be no extra charge for filling this year-​old balloon order. Assuming the price had gone up, I offered to pay the difference, but she refused.
Though I don’t go often, they are always so friendly there and the bouquets are nicely designed.

I came here for last minute ordering for my boyfriend and I for winterball. It was 2 days before we needed to pick it up, and I was extremely worried because I wasn’t sure how ordering was (since he ordered last year). But I walked in, and there was a limited amount of parking, but its okay, because the shop was small (and cute!), and the lady was so warm and helpful! She knew exactly what I was there for and she opened up a catalogue and gave me so many options for what I wanted.
I picked a white carnation for the boutonnière and mini white carnations for my corsage with baby’s breath and gold ribbon. The total was $ 30 which was was better than what most of my other friends paid. I left feeling relieved!
Then, the day of winterball, I went to pick it up and I came a little late from what time I said i’d be there, but she said it was no problem! And they turned out SO nice! I was super happy and my boyfriend was super impressed. We were glad we got something different from the bunches of roses and orchids my friends had.
Overall, the experience was SO great and I would most definitely come back here for prom! Happy with the service, the product, and the experience! THANK YOU CUTE FLOWERS!

Store has a good amount of arrangements and gifts. I originally didn’t see what I wanted so I asked the owners to let me make a custom one ranging from $ 15 – 20. The bouquet she brought out was quickly assembled and had the colors I wanted. I was in a rush and didn’t really analyze it, but when I brought it home for my mom’s birthday, I was surprised by the quantity and quality I received. On closer inspection though, I did notice 3 dead flowers. Regardless, my mom enjoyed the bouquet.
Service was great, but wished the store had more to offer. I would come here again instead of going to a Safeway for flowers if I’m in the neighborhood. Plus See’s Candies is across the street so it’s a convenient stop!

Really great service! A really nice man there helped me out a lot. He helped financially on the last minute and told me not to stress out today so he gave me a lot of advice and more than just a corsage but a different perspective about life. Good place. Friendly and welcoming flower store.

My sister ordered flowers through pro flowers or some similar service. My flowers arrived from Cute flowers and looked NOTHING like the actual picture and description of what they were supposed to look like. Basically I received 5 $ Safeway flowers. But my real complaint comes because the lady in charge was not interested in helping me not did she sound concerned that I was unhappy. Great service! In this day and age businesses should really start honoring the customer and try to be helpful.
They’ve definitely lost a customer and I don’t be referring any weddings to them, which is unfortunate since I’m in the wedding industry.

she is hands down very talented and creative, she makes different holidays flowers, bouquets, and whatever kind of flowers you need, she can do it all. she is pretty awesome ! i actually got lucky, i liked cute flowers and gift on Facebook and i was the winner of the month, she made a beautiful pink mixed bouquet for me! so Unilocalers like them on fb who knows you will be the next lucky winner, this florist has it all from flowers to cute teddy bears. parking was very easy. she is super friendly.

I almost forgot to order flowers for my sister’s birthday yesterday, so I contacted Cute Flowers because they were located near my sister’s home and hoped I could still get flowers ordered same day. While the service was probably not the «cheeriest», Claudia was responsive, and even called me back promptly after my initial call to inform me that a minor change would have to be made to the arrangement I ordered. I really appreciated that call. But I especially appreciated my sister’s call within an hour or so, thanking me for the beautiful bouquet. Success! We gathered for dinner later that evening and I saw the flowers — they were exactly what I ordered. And their prices are great.
I am now going to order flowers from them for all my south bay friends and family!

So far, it seems like a decent place to get flowers. It’s really hard for me to fall in love anymore with any new florists because I’ve been spoiled by another florist who would have all of his flowers on display so that you could pick and choose what you wanted!
Anyway, I’m learning that many florists are not like that and they are your traditional bouquets-​in-​fridge, singles-​in-​back-​that-​you-​cant-​see type of stores.
I came in asking for a bouquet of all white with no preference to the choice of flowers. I gave them a range of $ 20 – 40, which she accommodated for by making it $ 35, which came out to less than $ 40 after tip. That was considerate of her, but I was hoping they’d go on the lower end of my range, but I’ll keep that in mind next time.
When I saw the bouquet made by one of the associates, I was floored. It was beautifully done and I was definitely amazed by his craftsmanship. Too bad the flowers were for a sad occasion and probably wouldn’t have been admired for long, but they were definitely beautiful.
I might give this shop another go in the future. We’ll see what comes up!

It’s been a couple months since the wedding and I still think about how terrible this place is. We came here to buy bridal bouquets for my aunt’s wedding that I was planning and I would never come back here again for anything. We all know how stressful planning a wedding is — even the smallest of events can turn into the biggest nightmare and this business did not help the situation.
We came in during a bridal consultation and to meet up with Claudia on a busy day of preparation. There was practically no space to sit down, I had to stand up during the entire meeting and my aunt, the bride, had to sit down on a rickety old chair that had seen better days. On top of that their shop was really pretty disorganized and dirty.
Their idea of presenting their wares was for me to look over Claudia’s shoulder as she frantically clicked through low-​quality facebook pictures of events they’ve done, so that I couldn’t really keep up. They didn’t have a book through flip through. As I recall she hardly gave any input, but just kept throwing ideas out there all the while showing us the multitude of pictures on facebook. During the meeting two other customers came in and she actually got up to entertain them, practically ignoring us. I frankly told her that she needed to take care of our appointment time first as we set up an appointment with her and had other appointments scheduled throughout the day. She practically accused me of being grumpy and «too young.» What she accomplishes by insulting her customers, I have no idea. We finally settled on a rose package of two bouquets and four boutineers.
Happy we got one thing checked off of our list, we high tailed it out of there. However, come the day of the wedding we go to pick up the order and they’ve left out one boutineer and THEY try to convince US that we’ve got the order wrong. It was a mess. It was stressful. Maybe my expectations were too high for this place. Maybe I WAS extremely grumpy during the entire wedding planning, but the fact of the matter is that I left the business a little insulted, pretty unhappy and unsatisfied.
Pros: They were local and convenient. They did have a pretty cheap package going on for a two boutineer and bouquet set, but their low prices did nothing to offset the terrible time I’ve had here.

I came here to pick up some flowers and support local business. I’m glad I did because Claudia and Rafael were extremely helpful. They listened to what I was looking for in the flowers, and helped me choose accordingly. The selection for ready-​made bouquets seemed small (most of the store was filled with gift items), but it seems that the main area in the back is for custom orders.
The prices were decent — $ 35 for a full (and I mean HUGE) bouquet of fall flowers (mastumoto astors, chrysanthemums, sunflowers, roses, green filler stuff) including a vase. The loose flowers I also bought were only $ 10 and had enough blooms to fill two vases when I got home.
Claudia had a box stand ready for the vase so I could transport it home without worry in the car, and Rafael even helped me carry it out to my car for me. The flowers’ quality, I’d say, were a ⁹⁄₁₀ — a lot of petals fell off when I was transferring the blooms, and one of the roses was already droopy when I purchased it. But I would definitely buy from here again over Safeway or another «floral department» in a larger store.
On a tangential note, I always thought this was a Korean flower shop because it’s situated in Ktown, but to my surprise I was greeted with a loud «Hola!» when I walked in. This doesn’t really matter, but I can’t be the only one who thought this.

As a guy I need someone to help pick flowers. Prices were ok but go to flowers by ivy in San jose for nice flowers. They looked pretty aweful when I gave them to my friend but actually blossomed nicely a few days later!

I got flowers in a vase for my birthday from this store. I was surprise to see some pretty dead flowers in it, also some which are about to be dead really soon. Moreover, I got Harry London chocolate with no EXP date on it. The box looks kinda of old. To summarize: I’m pretty disappointed. I’m adding pic’s so you can see…

I needed flowers for my two mothers, and yes I waited until the last moment to buy them, they were sold out at Safeway/​Albertsons (usually the only two places I go to buy good set of roses at a cheap price ;]) I then got referred here by a friend, I’m not a flower shop person I keep thinking they would be expensive, but decided to give them a try… LOVED IT! I got in and was greeted right away, they had a sale TWO dozen roses for $ 19.99, BINGO! they looked so pretty, fresh, not bruised or with a few pedals, this was the real deal! the process from when I arrived, chose them, paid was about 5 minutes, I will definitely be back again– If you save me money and time– you are A-O.K. in my book!

Such mixed reviews here… Ok this is my experience w/​Cute Flowers…
I needed to pick up some sympathy flowers for family friends whose loved one passed away. Though it was around Valentine’s Day, they did have a couple «neutral» bouquets. I got a nice arrangement for $ 35. And that other review must have come on a bad day, I got greeted many times. They were plenty helpful.
I came across Cute flowers again a week later when my BF ordered a bouquet package from 1 800 flowers. Some other florist messed up the original order and I guess Cute Flowers was called to fix it a week later. Unfortunate the arrangement I got from Cute flowers was pretty weak. I know what the bouquet was supposed to look like, what I got was a poor attempt. My BF was warned they may not have all the flowers in the specific bouquet, though. But they could have filled it in w/​something.
Anyway, I would go back and order in person, definitely not online.

I came in there today to get a quote on a bridal bouquet I wanted. As I walked in there was no employee in sight! as I walked farther in I saw a worker, working on a bouquet in the back and totally ignored me. So I did not want to disturbed him and waited because it looked like he was at the end of his project. Then in comes another female employee. She has to know I was standing there because she said «excuse me» as she passed me. THANK GOODNESS for some help finally.
Instead of asking if I needed any help, she jumped on her blackberry and started chatting away for a few seconds. then when i thought she was done with her so important conversation she went straight to her computer. i stood there for a good 10 minutes while she was ignoring me.
I wasted a total of 20 minutes there! VERY BAD SERVICE! and I would not ever go back or recommend any one to them!

April Flowers/​Cute Flowers did the bouquets, corsages, and boutineers for our wedding (¹¹⁄₂₀₀₈). Claudia was great to work with. Everyone raved at the wedding how great the flowers turned out and they look just gorgeous in our pictures. I’ve worked with Cute flowers for several years for different events, so when it came time to find bouquets for our wedding I knew I wanted to use Cute Flowers. Cute Flowers was reasonably and realistically priced, they are friendly, their customer service is great, and their flowers are excellent!
