I used Damon twice for my house drywall jobs. Both times he did wonderful job. He is on time, responsive, reasonably priced, and considerate.
First time was about a year and half ago, I needed some part of ceiling and walls repaired and textured to match the existing walls. The work was done on time and well. On top of it, he even gave a discount because the job took less than he had anticipated!
Today, I had him patch some cracks that developed around my window. I initally thought that the sheetrocks around the window had to be replaced, a bigger job. He took a look and recommended to re-​tape and patch. The repair came out really nice and was an economical solution as well. Thanks Damon for all your help and wonderful work!
I will definitely use him again for my future projects.

I had some drywall damaged from installing ceiling speakers that left very noticeable mismatch texture and drywall. Our home was going on the market so this needed to be done as soon as possible.
I called and made an appointment. DH Drywall showed up, explained what they were going to do, prepped the areas, repaired and texture matched to the existing wall, cleaned up, and did a excellent job. We are extremely pleased with the results, and recommend.

After having our general contractor come down with the flu and be unable to move forward on our kitchen remodel (we were living in the house with small children and trying to get a functioning kitchen installed quickly!) i urgently needed someone to get our sheetrock done after the plumbers and electrician’s had finished their rough in. I turned to Unilocal and found Damon at DH Drywall and called him based on the positive reviews. I was very happy that I did. Damon was prompt in sizing up the task and gave us a very fair quote to which he stuck. He sent us a crew to put up the sheetrock the next day who were very reliable workers and was there himself to give them directions. The following day he did all the patching/​mud himself. He was very professional and friendly and even offered to come back on a weekend to finish up some touchup work so that we could start cabinet installation at the beginning of the following week (we were running on a tight schedule).
Overall his work quality was excellent, he was efficient, and worked with our tight schedule, and on top that he is a genuine nice guy. So we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for having high quality small to medium sized sheetrock work done at a very fair price.

Damon removed the popcorn, textured and painted the ceilings throughout the house. Damon was easy to work with, professional and he did a great job. We had 3 estimates. All were about the same. We chose Damon because he really talked to us about the job. And we could talk to him. He covered everything, cleaned up and he worked around our schedule. I love the look of our new ceilings. We were getting estimates from painters to do our texturing and painting job when we realized that a drywall specialist is a better choice for the texturing. Damon gave us a lot of information about options and insight into what may be the best choice for our house. Damon and his crew did a thorough job masking and taping even around some large pieces of immovable furniture. They did a careful job of touching up some drywall «issues» before texturing. The texture pattern was good and they gave a lot of tips for doing any patches/​repairs in the future. It was very easy to communicate with Damon and he’s very professional, providing great service at a fair price.

Recently we got a new HVAC system installed. The old HVAC system was in a small closet. We got the new one installed in the attic so that we can free up the closet space where the old one is and use the space. We engaged DH Drywall (Damon) to:
i) repair the drywall and paint where the old HVAC return was, and
ii) rebuild the closet (replacing the drywall on the inside of the closet, taping and sealing it, building shelves, and painting it) so that we can truly use it as a closet.
Damon was very prompt in coming and meeting us and providing us with an estimate. He started the work as promised. Of the 2 items above, I will give Damon 5 stars on drywall work in the closet. However, I didn’t like the repair/​patch and the painting on the drywall where the HVAC return was. I give 3 stars.
Overall work:
1) Very Professional and Hardworking. Always on time. Used drop cloth and left the place very clean at the end of each day (we liked it as we are very picky about keeping the place clean an dusing drop cloths).
2) Inside the closet: outstanding job

4) Finishing (inside the closet): outstanding (he did not plan for proper finishing of the flooring in the closet and that was a surprise to us. We discussed it and he agreed to do it for a reasonable price for labor and material)

DH Drywall did an amazing job fixing a hole (1 foot square) in my ceiling and some large wall cracks. It all looks like new even though there is a textured finish and I didn’t have (or know) the paint color. Damon (the owner) was professional, and patient with my clueless questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and his prices were very reasonable. Best of all he showed up on-​time, carefully covered everything and did an immaculate clean up when he was finished. I was thrilled with the work and would 100% use him again.

DH drywall has been fixing my drywall issues for years on various projects. He’s proficient in matching all different types of texture finishes. His prices are always reasonable, and he is prompt, efficient, and reliable. I have and will continue to recommend him to all my clients and the general contractors I work with. DH Drywall has done several remodeling projects on my home. Damon Huck owns the Company and does most of the taping himself. Other employees usually do the sheetrock installation. They also do all types of texturing. I found the results to be first quality. When I asked him to do unusual details, he never refused. He even did a small amount of real plastering for me. Callbacks were no problem. The Company is licensed and insured. Damon has a great personality, is reliable and doesn’t smoke.
