I was referred to attorney Dhaliwal by an acquaintance a while back. I did
at the same time contact other attorneys in the Bay Area for my personal case.
I took a chance with Mr Dhaliwal to handle my case. Overall, it was a good experience given the work was done as promised. The staff was fairly professional and knowledgable.

My experience was very poor with this guy. After a inital «free consult», I hired him to attend to my tax issue. He took a retainer and he did absolutly nothing for me. In fact when I called him a couple of times to see what he has done. He couldn’t even tell me exactly what my case was about. So I asked for a refund and I fired him. He said no at first but later, upon my insistance, he said he’ll refund the money. But he doesn’t have any money now. Can you believe a bankruptcy attorney who doesn’t have money for a refund. A money that should be kept in a trust anyways until the work is done. All of this in a time that there are more bankruptcy filings than ever. What does that tell you about the quality of this guys work. Well I made the mistake of hiring him. I hope you don’t. He is a very mediocre lawyer and a pretty awful person. He told me he’ll refund when he has the money and that was over a year ago. Pleae beware and don’t make the same mistake as me.
