Care for dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, fish (tropical and fresh water) and birds.

I provide quality petcare in your home, specializing in older pets and pets with medical needs. Having taken pet first aid and CPR, and with many years of experience giving medications, fluids and injections, I’m a qualified, mature and responsible professional petsitter. I provide 40 minute visits in your home, walks and play, feeding and changing water, scooping after your dog, scooping litterboxes, and cleaning up messes. A walk for your dog is included in the visit, or I can spend the entire 40 minutes taking him or her for a walk.

Additional services included: mail and newspaper pickup, plant and garden watering, changing lights and blinds, and others to be discussed.

I love what I do and am thankful every day for the opportunity to spend my workday caring for and playing with so many wonderful companion animals!

History

Established in 2001.

I had done house and petsitting for my friends for years and finally decided to try to make a go of it professionally. What a great job, hanging out with sweet, wonderful pets!

The nature of petsitting is that we are most busy at holiday times and in the summer, so we really need to network and have trustworthy colleagues to substitute for us, should the need arise, whether it’s an emergency or just a scheduled vacation. I have excellent backup, all professionals as well.

I’ve had my own pets for years and even considered being a veterinarian for a time, before deciding I wanted to be with pets that were happy to see me (not always the case at the vet’s). I’ve cared for all kinds of creatures in my almost 10 years in business and can honestly say I love my job.
