The cheese stick is so good. Prices are a little steep. Service was slow. Only 1 employee doing everything.

I LOVE their lemonade!!! It is by far the most refreshing thing to drink in the food court. I was watching a guy press it and it looked like a work-out(probably made my lemonade taste that much better!). The hot dogs on a stick and fries are good, mine weren’t burnt or doughy which is great! I would give these guys five stars for a fast good joint but the guy that helped me was not so five star, he was pretty uninterested in life in general and a little mean.

Filling HS Nostolgia inducing Snack I like my corn dogs the way I like my fairytales… NICEANDCHEESY. American cheese dipped in corn bread batter is done my way. Refreshing lemonade in multi florescent colors are more entertaining than they are healthy. Great mid mall trip snack for $ 5.00+

Hot dog on a stick. Cheese on a stick. Anything from this place on a stick. I love it all! Fresh lemonade is great too if you’re parched from walking around the mall :)

I remember this place from when I was a kid, and always had fond memories. Hot Dog on a Stick is still one of my favorite fast-food options at the mall’s food court. I usually order the combo, for about $ 8.75 you get a delicious hot dog, good fries and of course– their famous hand-made lemonade. A truly satisfying meal, and«something different». The lemonade has always been my favorite, and the corn-dogs are always great. I’ve had better fries in other places, but overall I like this brand and this Valley-Fair location is quite good.

Bought the Groupon and told myself, «Damn, Vi. Good job. Get yourself a corndog.» For five bucks, I got $ 10 worth of food: kiddie meal, cheese stick, and funnel cake sticks(paid the 2 dowluh difference). Beyond the nostalgia of eating meat on a stick, I probably wouldn’t come back unless I had another Groupon. It wasn’t bad, but it certainly falls under the category of semi-pricey fast food. So here’s how everything weighed in: Lemonade —(re)fresh to def. The light version made with Splenda is on the tart side, but I can dig it. Turkey corndog — it was okaaay, but I was expecting more. I mean, for one corndog here, they charge nearly what you pay for a whole box at the grocery store. It better be the biz! All I have to say is step it up, Hot Dog on A Stick. Step it up. Pepperjack cheese stick — WHYDO I LOVEALLTHINGSCHEESE?! Nomnomnom. I revise my earlier statement. I would return for gooey cheese sticks. And shovel them into my mouth. Indescriminantly. As onlookers gawked in curiosity. And a touch of disgust. Funnel cake sticks — fried sugar drizzled with raspberry and/or chocolate saaawce(Rick Ross voice). What’s not to like? Soooooo… I think for the sake of recalling fuzzy warm childhood memories of cafeteria food you would never eat now as an adult but want to taste just one more time so you feel like the 8 year old in you still exists, this place does its job. If I ever crave meat or cheese on a stick, I might stop by again but those times are probably far and few inbetween. Oh, one kind of gross thing I feel I should mention… I got the kid’s meal and forgot to tell the cashier I wanted the sugarfree lemonade rather than the regular. I asked him if it would be too much trouble to make the change and he said it wouldn’t be a problem(here’s where I cringe a little). Rather than dumping the regular lemonade into the sink, he pours it back into the container. Granted, he hadn’t even handed me the cup yet, but I watched some of the lemonade drip from his fingers and into what would be dispersed to many an unknowing customer later on throughout the day. Yikes.

Stopped by here for some fresh lemonade, french fries, and corndogs! Believe it or not this was actually the first time I stopped by at the Valleyfair location even though I work and been shopping here! There was only one worker there when I went so she was pretty much in charge of everything from taking orders, preparing the food, to ringing up customers’ orders. Despite all that multi-tasking, she was still friendly to every customer and didn’t rush anyone’s order! The fries and corndog were really good especially when they’re served hot! I like the fact that they have packets of mayo, ‘cause I like to dip my fries in mayo and ketchup! If you love french fries, I suggest you order two of them! The lemonade was refreshing like always! A combo(small fries, corndog, and a regular size lemonade), will cost you almost $ 9… Kinda pricey, but if you must have your hot dog on a stick fix then I guess it’s all worth it!

This is my favorite place for freshly made corndogs and lemonade! Their lemonade is absolutely the most refreshing beverage that I’ve ever had. It’s not too sweet and it’s mighty cold. I find that it’s especially great during the summertime. Everytime I go to the mall, Hot Dog on a Stick is one place that I love visiting.

I love this location. Since it is in a super busy food court, they never make you wait because they may have a line and what not. I always get a meal here with a large lime. Yum. I suggest getting two orders of fries cuz after the fries are done frying it’s smaller, the starch, and you end up with a smaller product than prior. So if you get two fries it’s better haha. I suggest if you come here often to ask for a stamp card. You get a stamp per purchase and then you can receive a free item! I come here a lot so you know I have one. Also take advantage of their specials. Meaning they usually have a calendar up stating what’s on sale or free for the day. You have to ask for the stamp card though.

As a non beef eater, I am very happy they have a turkey dog on a stick and a veggie dog. I saw the nutri facts and the veggie dog is pretty healthy believe it or not(relatively vs. mall food in general). Not a fan of the lemonade though, and I don’t like the fries, basically at all. So middle of the road, 3 stars.

Was out shopping today and I was really thirsty. I saw ‘Hot Dog on a Stick’ and decided to get a large fresh thirst quenching lemonade… NOT. Crap lemonade tasted like Country Time powdered $hit to my dismay. Obviously ‘Hot Dog on a Stick’ no longer serves fresh squeezed lemonade. They have turned tail and are selling fake a$$ lemonade. Won’t be going there again, that’s for damn sure!

There are no better or fresher corndogs available than from here! The price is right, and if you get a corndog and a lemonade — it’s the perfect meal or a snack. Ask for Cindi — she’s the smily bright-eyed gal in the hat. She makes the place all the more fun! Too bad they don’t offer their $ 1 Tuesday Hot Dogs on a Stick like they used to.

Its a phallic shaped meat on a stick! A simplistic name that delivers, their lemonade is tangy and sweet, you can always ask for a sample cup to help you decide which flavor you prefer. The poor staff forced to wear those funky uniforms, but they look oh so good while smashing the lemons that you will soon enjoy…

I’ve been here quite a few times while shopping in Valley Fair and I finally decide to write a review to support this awesome spot. What do I order… nothing other than a Hot Dog on a Stick and a fresh squeezed Lemonade. The girls that work their literally squeeze the lemons in front of you. You will usually see a small petite girl with some smashing device squeezing the juices out just steps away from the cashier. I found that entertaining while waiting for your hot dog on a stick be freshly fried. I love this place especially on «Dollar Hot Dog Tuesdays!»

You want a corndog and/or maybe a lemonade? Come here. If you want just a hot dog and fries? Do not come here. The fries were skimpy and I don’t think they were fully and crispity cook. The hot dog itself was OK but the bun was not warmed up. Customer service is OK but what do you expect? It’s a joint in the mall food court.

There’s something about being at the mall and craving fries, but not McDonald’s fries, that keeps me coming back to this place… and secretly regretting going back every time. I don’t know any other establishments that serve corn dogs, so when I see the Hot Dog on a Stick sign at the food court, I can’t help but want one. They look so delicious and fried… but just come out kind of bland. The hot dog is hot(that’s a plus) and the batter is okay, but I think maybe I just really don’t like corn dogs, but I’ve tricked myself into thinking that I really do. Anyway, a huge slather of ketchup and mustard make it taste better. And the fries. They come out looking so hot and fresh! But they’re usually slightly undercooked and taste a little old(like it was cooked in old oil). I do like how they’re unsalted so you can add your own salt. 99% of the time after eating at this place, I feel terribly bloated. Also, $ 2.25 for a little thing of fries is kind of painful when I know I can get triple that amount and 10 billion times better quality and tasty fries at the Monk’s Kettle in SF for $ 5. The girl I always see working there looks like she’s the most miserable person alive too.

I love coming to this place. If you’re looking for a delicious corndog, than this is the place to get one. Add some ketchup & mustard and you’re all set. I wish they would put some hot sauce out for those of us that like a little bit of heat. Heading down memory lane, I can totally recall the 1st Hot Dog on a Stick that I use to eat at. This was the one that was located in the Sunnyvale Town Center. All you Sunnyvalers remember the old Town Center don’t cha?!! If you’re trying to grab a quick meal make sure you go when it’s not too busy otherwise have fun waiting.

I’m sure we all can make our own food and our own drinks. But who the heck wanna take the whole actually time to prep for all that? This is why places like this exists. I’ve always been a deprived little asian girl who don’t get to order McDonalds, Burger King and watch certain shows on television… no money. When I started working I enjoyed going to certain places at the mall to get food. Because it taste good and it is pretty consistent with the taste every time I go back to it. I’m proud to say anyone who believes they can stomp a 10 — 15 gallon of water, ice, sugar, and lemons in a tall plastic jug with a 5 lbs stomper has rhythm. It’s not as easy as it looks. The shirt is made to distract customers eyes and mind. You don’t see the oil stains, lemon pulp, or cornbread flour do you? Most of the time probably not. Guys are lucky to wear visors or something like a baseball cap with the HDOS on it. Girls typically have longer hair then guys so it is used to pull all that hair out of the way. It is for your health concern afterall. Easier for the girls who work there. So what if you have woke up with a horrible bed hair. No one is going to see it-all of that goes into that funny looking hat. The shorts use to be short. Now it is normal short length. Reason why it was short-EVERYTHING at the beach use to be short or nude. Guys wear short shorts/speedos. Fashion back then had professional basketball players wearing short shorts. i don’t see you give them crap for that. What’s good on the menu: hot dog on a stick lemonade fries(w/red robin’s seasoning salt-so yummy!) pepper jack/american cheese on a stick and the veggie dog on a stick I like the hot dog on a bun at times… but I think its really high in sodium.

I think I wore those exact same shorts for Junior High Gym Class at Miller… but, I think they were red. Okay, this place is the place to get your corndog on… and this isn’t 7-eleven where they are rolling around on a heater thingy all day. They dip this dog in cornbread dough, and fry it up. Tastey.
