ION is Northern California’s première electronic architect. We specialize in the design, integration, and installation of the electronics in your home and business, including audio, video, lighting, security, surveillance, phone, network, and control. Our system designs range from a simple bedroom TV system to a 100,000 square foot commercial establishment. Our systems are designed to meet your current needs and budget, with the proper wiring and infrastructure to help ensure that future needs can be easily met.

Established in 1998.

Input Output Network, Inc. currently has offices in San Francisco and San Jose. Our projects range from as far north as Tahoe to as far south as San Diego. We have also done out-​of-​state projects for our clients who refuse to use any other low voltage integrator!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Russell began work with Odyssey, a custom transportation company, where he was trained in cabinetry, automotive electrical, custom painting, upholstery, and vehicle graphics. Projects included mobile intensive care units, First Response fire, specialty government vehicles, and show cars. He left Odyssey to pursue a degree in Industrial Design at Arizona State University, where he began a freelance career working on environmental signage, night club and restaurant design, and audio-​video systems. A few years later, Russell was contracted to work on a special project called Kaos. This was a two year project where they built a custom «James Bond» car out of a Mercedes S-​600. Working a media event with the car in Palo Alto, California, eventually led to a special on the Discovery Channel’s show «Next Step». Russell next took a position with a local audio-​video companyas a systems integrator. He worked in that position for almost two years before leaving to start ION.
