Jeff is awesome, he is a great example of #1 customer service satisfaction. We came looking at the trees initially 2 months ago but unable to purchase them because we haven’t found a good landscaper yet. A few weeks ago we got one fuji blossom and one maple trees for our landscape project. He delivered the trees right away and we are happy campers now. Our landscape guy impressed the trees selection and its pricing as well. Definitely I will recommend Jeff immediately whenever my friends and relatives are looking for maple and cherry blossom trees in the Bay area.

WOW! I can not believe that we got two of the Maple tress — healthy, well kept, full, and WOW! with the affordable prices. Delivered right to our front door. Great Business, good selection of beautiful trees, solid customer service. I was very happy to buy a couple of baby Akebonos from Japanese Maple Trees on Las Palmas. I was also actually tempted to buy other varieties as there were plenty on site. I will likely go back to visit as I work on my master landscape plan.
If you are in need of a cherry blossom, maple, or any other exotic Japanese tree, I highly recommend this business. Please note the selection is diverse and often there are special editions that come in. Drop by and I am sure you will find a new baby tree you wish to take home with you.

I was looking for a Japanese Maple tree and found Jeff on Unilocal.Jeff is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I ended up buying a Japanese Maple and a Cherry Blossom. This is defiantly a great place for beautiful trees.

Because I knew nothing about Japanese Maple Trees, I called Jeff a number of times before buying to ask him questions about the various types of maples and which ones might work best for my yard. Jeff was very responsive and happy to answer my questions. He even offered to schedule a time to show me his trees before I was sure i wanted a Japanese Maple. I found Jeff very easy to work with, reliable, and his trees seemed healthier than some of the other places i researched before buying.

I found this business on Craigslist and sent Jeff an email about a tree I am looking for. He emailed me back within 10 minutes and we were able to make an appt. to meet to see if he has something I like.

This is my new favorite place when shopping for trees for my landscaping needs!
I just moved into my new home a while back and was searching for Maple trees and Cherry Blossoms for my landscape and was referred to Japanese Maple Trees by a friend. These guys have the best prices compared to others I ran into while shopping around. Not only are the prices the best but the customer service was TOP NOTCH, very very knowledgeable in the field, answered all my questions, and just friendly. I’d much rather talk to and work with someone who actually knows what they are doing, and who cares about my experience, as oppose to someone at these big chain stores who are just out for the paycheck.
Their selection was awesome. Truly a fun time, even if it’s just to walk around and browse! Check it out people!

I normally don’t write reviews, but Jeff was really awesome via phone and text message in answering all my newbie questions about Japanese maples — and I had a lot of them. Things like maximum tree height vs. width (to figure out whether I’d need gutter guards and how far apart to space them from each other and other plants), the different tree colors that change over the course of a season, the relative maintenance of each, the branch structure of each (weeping vs. upright), and optimal location (north/​east facing for morning sun vs. afternoon, sensitivity to sunlight especially in the summer heat).
Jeff was very patient, flexible, and responsive — I really forward to having a permanent home for my 2 maple trees (ultimately I chose between the Emperor I, Sango Kaku, Tamukeyama, and Crimson Queen, but he has several others and even cherry blossoms that I’ll look at for future purchases!).
