We booked Justin’s Catering for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made for the event! Not only was the food phenomenal, but Christie was excellent to work with and has a talented team of professionals on staff who made our special day a wonderful success.
Christie is very organized, thoughtful and pleasant to work with – I’d her again without question. From my first inquiry call with her I was impressed and appreciative of her event planning expertise and flexibility with our budget to design a personalized event for us. She arranged a fabulous tasting for us, was very responsive throughout the entire planning process and was on site the day of the event.
Her team took just as great care of us. We received very good feedback from the other vendors about how easy they were to work with, and heard from several folks at our wedding about what top notch service they received. Ben in particular was terrific, he made certain to save my groom and I some delicious appetizers while we were stuck taking photos to ensure we did not miss out on anything:) Many of our guests commented on both the quality and beautiful presentation of the food with their complements. Thanks so much to Justin’s Catering for making our wedding so perfect!

I can’t begin to thank you all enough for everything you did for Filoli’s Holiday Traditions Opening Night. I’m very pleased to share with you what a huge success it was! I heard so many wonderful comments throughout the evening. The table looked absolutely beautiful, you did a fantastic job of capturing our vision. We heard rave reviews all day today from volunteers, staff and guests who were there last night and/​or who spoke with people who were. Everyone just loved it!
The tent looked absolutely stunning with the charcuterie buffet table the star of the show! The food was excellent, colorful and beautifully displayed. Your team did an excellent job of keeping it refreshed throughout the evening and ushering the desert display in at just the right time. Glassware and plates were efficiently whisked away keeping both the House and tent neat and tidy. My one and only complaint, it was over all too soon!
Thank you for your patience and for working closely with us to pull this together on such short notice, and for accommodating our last minute needs. This was a first for our Holiday Traditions Event; holding our Opening Night Party under the canopy of a tent in the courtyard. We couldn’t be more pleased with how the evening turned out :) I hope you and your team enjoyed seeing how satisfied our guests were throughout the evening, job well done!

The helpers are really nice and friendly. But I felt really sick after having the food. Not recommended.

Justin’s was an excellent choice for my girlfriend’s surprise birthday party. Anna was very helpful planning and setting up the party. The food was very good with lots of fantastic choices. Everything came together so well. My girlfriend had the best party ever, she enjoyed the party and so did everyone else. I can’t thank everyone at Justin’s for the impeccable service, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Professional staff and great food… will def use them for my next event!

NEVER book an event here. the blonde event coordinator is horrible. she was completely all in our business and did not let people in who paid to be at the event. We had to resort to sitting on the bench by the door and refused to let us drink even though we were all over 21 and paid to be here. DO. NOT. BOOK. AN. EVENT. HERE. just don’t. if you think about booking an event here just know that I would have had more fun. at home. and saved my hard earned money. bai.

I’ve been working with Justin’s Catering and Event Productions since 2014 for my company’s Executive lunch meetings. The presentation is absolutely perfect and the food is always top notch. The catering team is very easy to work with, I have never had any issues whatsoever with the planning, payment, or final product they produce. I would definitely recommend working with Justin’s Catering and Event Productions for any event!

I used Justin’s to cater a work Superbowl themed «happy hour». We were very pleased with the presentation of the table (fake turf, football pendants, goal posts at each end of the table). We added football balloons and a balloon helmet from each team to top it off. I got a big hand for the food and setup, but all I did was the ordering. I just wish someone from Justin’s had been there to take the credit — but I gladly accepted on their behalf.
On a side note, I’ve noticed a lot of the EA’s I work with are now using Justin’s, and our Exec’s couldn’t be happier with our choice. Kudo’s to Justin’s!

Justin’s was one of several catering organizations that our event venue recommended. We were intrigued because we love the restaurant the parent company runs in Santa Clara. We did not go wrong. They had a very inventive, fun menu for us that all our guests really enjoyed no matter their taste. They helped us order the right amount of food and the hot dishes were hot; the cold dishes properly cold. There were some cute presentation tricks they used (we decided on a buffet style heavy appetizers mainly) which made the whole thing that much more fun. The food was delicious, and in fact, several of our guests have since asked for their number. While they are not cheap, we thought the charge was reasonable for the event. Their staff was all very friendly and helpful and they fully staffed the event to quickly set up, keep all the food stations fully stocked, and then efficiently break down the event afterwards. All in all, we highly recommend.

We worked with Gina for my 80^th Birthday party. She made it an effortless event for us. Everything went smoothly, exactly as planned, even to accommodating some specific individual dietary requirements. The food, ambiance and service were perfect and a good time was had by all.

Service was absolutely fabulous! The food was amazingly yummy and the presentation of it, was beautiful! I have to say, from the moment I sent out the first email for availability to the completion of the event, I was extremely pleased!

Quite simply their food and customer service is awesome. I’m an EA and plan meetings and manage the catering for the CEO and executive staff. The quality of the food and the presentation is always top notch. I can depend on them and they are also great with our last minute changes. I highly recommend this catering company. They are also very affordable and I am able to stay within my corporate budgets.

We hired Justin’s to cater our wedding last month and the food was simply a hit. My husband and I are slight food snobs and we wanted the food at our wedding to be memorable and delicious. In addition, our family is Asian so they’re used to have certain flavors in their food. They can be extremely picky when it comes to eating anything outside of our culture. Christie was so easy to work with and made sure we were happy with the menu.
On the day of our wedding, her team made sure John and I ate, and the food was just as delicious as our initial tasting. In fact, we wanted more appetizers but unfortunately already ran out. We actually ran out of food all together because people kept going back for more. No one left hungry through. I attribute this to straight gluttony on my guests part. Everyone just loved the food and they were so happy to not eat «typical wedding food.» The service was exceptional and guests felt like they were treated to a night of fine dining. My mouth is watering just thinking about the food!

We enjoyed a wonderful offsite event for our wine club at Justin’s. As the Wine Club Manager for Cooper-​Garrod Estate Vineyards, I collaborated with Tami Perez for a wine-​paired dinner and logistics for our blending workshop. Tami ensured all necessary ingredients for success were delivered: the venue had the perfect balance of class and comfort; Chef Justin created a menu featuring delectable gourmet pizzas that matched our wines perfectly; Alfredo Reyes and his service staff attended to our guests’ every need. The complete package exceeded our already high expectations, and we look forward to partnering with Justin’s for future events.

We used Justin’s for a grand opening event earlier this month. Everything was delivered on time, looked great (they set everything up for us) and the food was delicious! You have to order the fried chicken sliders– amazing!

This is my first Unilocal review and no matter how much I try I cannot find an excuse to not give Justin’s a review. They exceeded my expectation not once but twice. They did the catering for my baby shower and called them again for my child’s birthday party.
Excellent service and Delicious food: we ordered option 31 Thai and it was amazing. Coconut macaroons was like heaven.

This is an overdue review. I had the pleasure of having my wedding reception at Justin’s and it could have not been a better place. They say that the food is the most memorable thing in a wedding but there are so many unforgettable things about this place that is overwhelming. Let’s start with the staff. Michele Perez the Director of New Business Development is personable, makes you feel at home and also important. From the start I knew I had chosen well. She goes out of her way to make things work. Chef Justin is a talented and creative man. The food was just out of the world. There was not one guest that did not ask WHO prepared this. I mean it was that good. Alfredo Reyes, the Catering Manager is also a 5 star recommendation. Always ready to help with whatever we needed. Super professional and attentive. I don’t think I have enough space here to write how happy we were with them. Everything worked out to perfection. The waiters, waitresses, everyone was just so incredible to us. I would truly recommend this place. They made us feel that we were at home. The reception turned out to be exactly what we wanted. Warm, friendly, elegant and simple all in one. Just right. If I could I would get married again and again just to see them all. This is the kind of business Santa Clara and every community needs.

I wish I could give 4 and ½ stars. We used Justin’s to cater and equip a school graduation dinner dance. The food, the service and the entire experience were great and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend them for any event you’re producing.

Exceptional food! I chose Chef Justin Perez to cater my vip client dinner event at J. Lohr and everything was amazing. They were very easy to work with and accommodating to all dietary restrictions. His menus were paired so well with their wines; it really was a perfect dining experience.

I used Justin’s catering for an office baby shower in December and they were fantastic! They worked with me on a menu that would please both the mom-​to-​be/​picky eater and all of the other guests. The result was a beautiful presentation of unique dishes alongside familiar comfort foods. Each dish was delicious and the tomato and basil soup was a big hit! I definitely saw more than one guest go back for a second helping! As for myself, I enjoyed the seared ahi tuna, mushroom risotto and, of course, the cake pops!
I also want to rave about the décor they provided. The mom-​to-​be is having a bay girl, but did not want a room full of pink. Instead, she asked if it could be themed woodland animals, which is the baby’s room theme. I sent Justin’s a few pictures of what I had in mind and they nailed it! They turned a boring conference room into a bright, sunny area perfect for a baby shower. They provided the linens along with centerpieces that included beautiful floral arrangements and the most adorable woodland critters (I’ll attach a picture soon).
Needless to say, they exceeded my expectations and I will for sure be using them again and again and again!

Another amazing event by Justins catering at our house party. Nadia and Mike were fabulous and the food was a huge hit! Thanks for making our holiday event a huge success.

This review is specifically for the Halloween Event production. I was lucky enough to get to check out a «Haunted House» style intro to a party he pulled off. (Apparently Justin used to run Halloween Haunts, but had to take 2 years off).
Plainly put, the FX and decorations used were top notch. The Haunted House section was genuinely scary and rad. I could hear the screams coming from the tunnel all night long.
The food was excellent with a great variety, although I ended up just eating the pulled pork and coleslaw all night, it was a nice spread.
I’m looking forward to potentially working with him in the future! Check it out.

Formerly Restaurant O, they did an awesome job at a few catered events at my company.
A few words to describe them… talented and creative. No detail will be missed.
They are a full event production company, they can handle events of all sizes. Justin Perez is now opening «Justin’s» March 5^th in Santa Clara, in the old Wilson’s Bakery spot.
They did a fantastic job of pairing the food and wine.

Fair enough i know these people quite well. But i can assure you this review is unbiased as i have been working in the Restaurant industry for about 13 years on and off and i have seen both the best and the worst of things. Over the years, I have attended several of the events catered by Justin’s and have been consistently impressed with the quality of the innovative food, the personal service given as well as the attention to detail of the overall operations. My professional advice is that choosing this company to cater your event would be a stellar decision and that chances are you are going to host an event that people will be talking about afterwards.

Wow! RO is amazing! My hubby’s work used to get catering from them when they were a smaller company. Therefore, when we were seeking a wedding caterer, we were delighted to see they worked with our vendor.
The food was simply amazing! As foodies who eat out a lot it was mandatory that we offer top-​notch food for our wedding guests. Betsy and her staff were a delight to work with, and they helped us come up with a very tasty selection for our guests for a competitive price.
Just to give you an idea of their «competition» we also talked other caterers, including the so-​called «bargain caterer» Party Helpers, whom offered us a very boring basic menu including spaghetti, chicken, etc.
With RO, our money went much further. for a bit more we had the following:
Cocktail Hour — beer & wine with displayed appetizers:
Seared Ahi Tuna w/​tabiko, marinated sweet onions & Daikon sprouts: They are famous for this! We were told by at least couple of people to get this, and when we tried it, we were hooked. It is really the best Ahi Tuna I’ve tried as it’s prepared to perfection. The presentation that it comes with (granite slab I think) was also a nice touch.
Spaghetti Squash Roll w/​Expresso & Brie accented with Cranberries — need I say more?
Pancetta wrapped chicken skewers with lemon-​sage sauce — went over very well with the guests.
Spicy Asian rice paper rolls w/​wasabi-​ginger dipping sauce: similar to Vietnamese steam rolls.
For Dinner, we opted for a buffet (w/​full bar):
Pear Salad (see my pic) — it was very yummy.
Grilled Flank Steak Roulade with Mission Fig Demi Glaze — another guest favorite.
Hazelnut-​encrusted Sea Bass with Lobster Butter and Pomegranate drops — this was my favorite. The fish was cooked to perfection, and the hazelnut crusting was the perfect texture to compliment this dish.
Pasta purses filled with butternut squash, baby spinach and Ricotta cheese topped with walnut brown butter & crispy sage: also very yummy. This ravioli dish was another guest favorite, and many people kept going back to the buffet for seconds & thirds.
Glazed and roasted baby french carrots and turnips — a good veggie dish that was a great alternative to your basic fare.
Wild rice with cranberry risotto — we originally sampled a different risotto, but this one was our final pick!
Overall, I think the descriptions of the food speak for themselves. If your mouth is watering, than just imagine, the food was better than described here and exceeded our high-​standard expectations!
Our mission to have 5-​star worthy food at our wedding was accomplished! Our guests raved about how great the food was, and how nice it was to have a great meal that didn’t leave you hungry/​unsatisfied (as many wedding meals often do).
I would highly recommend RO, and will use them for future events. I hear they are potentially opening a restaurant, which I will happily frequent when that happens. :)

We participated in their Thanksgiving meal this year and LOVED IT! We picked up the food around noon and it was packaged very well and all the hot food was in specially sealed containers to keep everything hot. By 3:30 we were ready to eat so we pulled everything out and it was still hot like it came out of the oven. I carved the turkey (steaming hot) and put all the WONDERFUL gourmet sides out. The food was AMAZING! We had plenty of leftovers to share and look forward to the next event! The only complaint was the breast meat was a little dry, but this could be from the extended phase it sat before we cut it. I suggested a longer brine time to improve the flavor as I like my birds a little more salty and it retains the juices more.

Our Company uses Restaurant O as our caterer. I’m a vegetarian, plus don’t like onion, garlic, or mushrooms. Sounds weird but it’s true. Teddy, the manager of our account, managed to have a special lunch box delivered to me everyday, besides all the regular nice and normal tasting meals to other employees. :)
Teddy’s team have always managed to give me excellent meal talored to me every day, once in a while throw in some nice hot meal surprises. :) Today, they have prepared a hot meal for me, but forgot to put in the truck at the first place. Their crew drove all the way to our company again to deliver my lunch box, and Teddy wrote me emails to assure me the delivery of the meal. When my meal arrived, it was the best lunch I’ve had in a cold weather.
Many many many thanks to Teddy and his crew. I know my meal is not easy to be tailored, but they have done this every single day for half a year now. They are the one who kept me alive for those 6 months. Thank you!!!

For our August wedding, my gal and I interviewed several caterers in the Bay Area … we did some consultations, we did some tastings. But the company that really stood out from the start was Restaurant O.
First off, they came highly recommended by a couple trusted vendors we were already working with … so they had solid «industry» credibility and a reputation that preceded them. We worked with Betsy Allen — who’s in charge of sales and client servicing — and her professionalism was top-​notch. She really put us at ease — a great mix of being a friendly person, possessing considerable experience, and really making our process fun and engaging. Her communication was fantastic — she constantly sent us feedback, provided guidance when necessary, revised «plans», and answered every and any question.
So on that side alone — the consultation process — RO did an outstanding job. But the food … simply amazing in both quality and quantity. For our wedding, we chose a cheese-​and-​fruit platter and mini fruit tart for pre-​ceremony grubbing; a variety of freshly baked pizza (made on-​site at our venue) for cocktail hour; and our dinner service consisted of a beautiful cucumber salad and four plated French-​style options (salmon, beef, chicken, and vegetable entrees).
Our guest list included several self-​professed «foodies» (y’all know the type) and they unanimously stated that the RO food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding. No exaggeration … the food was delicious. When my better half and I circled each table for photo ops, there were MANY empty plates and happy «food coma» faces. Oh, and another important element. For me, the food itself is the end-​all … it can be served on paper plates/​red cups and I’d still be a very satisfied man. But my gal convinced me the importance of presentation, plating, and service … and RO did an excellent job in this domain. RO set up all the tables, chairs, linens, napkins, plates, chargers, silverware, glassware, etc. etc.
So again, to sum up RO … a winning trifecta of process (Betsy), personnel (Betsy and her service staff), and performance (the food!). If you’re looking for a premier caterer for any event — whether it be wedding, corporate, family, etc. — give RO a call and they’ll get it done!

I think the «O» in Restaurant O stands for «Oh my gosh everything they make is so freaking delicious».
Maybe I’m wrong, maybe not. Either way, I’ve eaten Restaurant O’s food a bunch of times and it has always been great.
I’ve actually tried to get my company to use Restaurant O for our non-​existent catered lunches, but they’re always like, «Maybe you should stop leaving reviews on Unilocal and get back to work.» They just don’t understand.

Restaurant O is Diamond Certified for a reason. I have suggested them and used them for many events. From the tasting to the execution of the event, Restaurant O typically keeps it flawless. The staff is always professional and great to work with.
They have a unique flavor and flair with their food. Justin Perez, Executive Chef, combines flavors that not only make you smile but make you think «I would never have put those two together».
Restaurant O is also a one stop shop. They do everything from coordinate to rentals to food. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a high end caterer for any type of event.
