Fantastic find! I’ve had several dresses and pants altered at Kevin’s and I’ve been pleased every time! Each time I’ve been in, the alterations have been done within just a few days, and anytime a second alteration has been done it gets done quickly with no question.

We have been going to Kevin’s for many years. He once made a dress for me, took just a few measurements and it fit perfectly. My husband has been very pleased with alterations by Kevin.

Great place to get any alteration done. My Dad recommended this place to me 14 years ago and they have always done a perfect job. Great place and Great people

Best prices around, and they take the time to listen to what you need. I needed a quick stitch before work and they fixed it up at no charge. I bring all my alteration needs to Kevin’s.
I also had one pair of pants that fit perfect and asked the other two to be taken in to the same size and they did it perfectly with out me having to get sized or trying them on.
I tell all my work friends about them!

I have been going to Kevin’s for years now but I must confess it has been for basic and simple alterations. But, I have been very pleased and happy with the job they have done for me. My sister was very short and pants, sleeves, robes all needed to be hemmed or shortened. I would drop off the items that needed to be altered and give them the inseam lenght or mark one sleeve of a blouse and two days later it would be ready for pick up and I was more than satisfied with the work done.
My daughter wanted a dress altered and we took it in. It was cut on the bias and the woman there explained how she can alter the dress for the best fit which differed to what my daughter wanted. What my daughter wanted done did not work with the cut of the dress. We had the dress altered and when we got it back it was perfect. I appreciated the fact that she took the time to explain what she could and could not do based on the cut of the dress.
I have never had to pay more than $ 15 for alterations and hems run between $ 6-​$ 10.
For me it is my go to place for any sewing job that I am not up to tackling.

Let me say this was the first time I have anything tailored and I still expect a little better. I went here to get my suit altered, it was much too long in the pants and just needed to be shortened. I walked in and the guy just said to try it on so I did and came out and showed him. He seemed nice and noticed only the pants needed to be tailored and that everything else fit nicely. Then he just marked one side of the pants which let me sort of puzzled since I needed both sides done. Just one little chalk mark on the entire pair of pants, it seemed a tad puzzling to me. After that they said I could pick it up by noon tomorrow, I guess at least they do fast work. It was cheap too, I left only having to pay $ 7 so I thought it would be a good deal to get the pants done for such a cheap price. I also mentioned to the lady who took my money that this was for a very special occasion, she just nodded and didn’t seem to care.
When I returned the next day they took a second to find my pants and just handed them to me, never asking me to try them on to see if it was what I wanted. Having never been to a tailor before I just took the pants and went home to try them on. I was pretty disappointed with the end result. I figured they would give a tad more care and time to the pants but they did pretty much what I thought and did a sort of half assed job. Sure they pants were not terrible but they were also nothing special. At least the ordeal only cost me $ 7 and 10 minutes of my time. The pants came out really short, much shorter then the mark he made the day before. Lucky for me I have a friend in the family who knows how to sew and she took out the work they did and was able to make the pants look fantastic, it took her about an hour to do the job.
Look, they have a cheap price so I suppose you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t most likely go back again now knowing how they work there. The place looks cheap, the work looks cheap, and the cost is cheap. Its a classic case of pay for what you get I just had to learn this the hard way this time.

I’ve been going here for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried other places when I moved around, but no one is as good and as cheap as this place. It’s worth the drive. I’ve taken off the wall things to them to fix, like a zipper on a purse of mine that broke. They’ve hemmed my pants for $ 7 dollars, fixed tears and holes for $ 2 dollars, and replaced buttons on jackets that fell off. The lady who works there is not only super nice, but she always does a great job! Sometimes there can be a loose thread now and then, but they always fix it when I take it back for free. They’ve also told me when I didn’t have money, that I could pay next time. They’ve even recommended me to places when they couldn’t fix things (if they were too small for their machine). Really, these people are fantastic. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Bf and I have been going to Kevin for years. Great work for a reasonable price, from simple hems to more complicated work like taking in suits.

i went here to get my pair of jeans taper, they did pretty good job with it, im happy with how the pair of jeans fits me now. I also went here to get some of my dress shirt fitted which didn’t take long to to do about a couple of days. This is one of my favorite place to get things altered. Also the price is pretty cheap compared to other tailor places.

I’ve only gone once so far but they did a great job on hemming the Calvin Klein slacks I brought in. I will be going back for sure if I need a tailor in the future. They were ready on Wednesday after dropping them off on Saturday afternoon.

They made my daughters dress 3 inches shorter than asked. She may gave been happy but I wasn’t. I just brought in 3 pairs of pants let’s hope they do better this time or I’m never going back.

I had purchased a pair of astronomically priced «they make my ass look hot» jeans. I used Unilocal to help find a decent tailor close to my neighborhood and it resulted in the second time that Unilocal failed me (Mongolian BBQ was the first). I almost cried when I saw what $ 12 original hem alteration did to my ass modification jeans. I should have known that $ 12 was too cheap to be good.
When the lady asked me, «Is this okay?» I understood that they were a small business and their sewing machines were considerably older than me so I didn’t say anything. Inside I was beyond belief yet there wasn’t much I could have done at that point so why ruin her day? The hems were crooked and the seams were unaligned. It was obvious that they hacked off the hems and non-​discreetly attached them on.
Perhaps try this place out if you want something simple done because you certainly can’t beat the price; if you want to see your $ 200 plus jeans butchered, this is a good place also.

Reasonable prices, quick turnaround and efficient service are what keep my repeat business.
All of my altered jeans have been fine. I’ve had them fix a couple problems with some ripped blouses and one was fine and the other was a bit sloppy, but nothing overt enough to keep me from going back.

Brought in jeans to be hemmed and asked for the original hem. They did a great job, with a short turnaround time of just a couple of days. I paid $ 15.
