The donuts were not very good when I went in on a Saturday morning. We’ve just relocated to area. The apple fritter was flat and not very soft. Maybe it was an off day, but unfortunately not going back. Too many donut shops to try out. We liked rolling pin in San Bruno. Want to try Stan’s next.

Good! I haven’t actually been here but had a chance to eat these delicious donuts brought to our picnic by my cousin! I loved it. Couldn’t resist eating till they vanished. Yummmm. Now I want to go for myself and see this place!

Been coming here for years. I love to get a crossantwich with bacon cheese and egg. Its so simple yet so good. The donuts are also very good. Not to mention you get a couple donut holes with anything your order.

This is the best place for donuts! Everyone is so sweet and nice. And ive had a special request a few times of getting sprinkles onto a donut even though it was late already and everyone knows first come first serve but no. They went above and beyond and helped me out. The most amazing donut shop ever with their positive attitudes in the morning! Everytime i go in its the best experience a customer can get is all im saying hands down best costumer service here!(:

Best Apple Fritter ever! Don’t let the disgustingly dirty shopping center keep you from going to this donut shop. The donuts are great and they give you free donut holes with every order. Very nice family business. It would be great if the quick stop owners would clean up their mess though…

This is my go-to place for donuts. I’ve been here the last two times I’ve ordered donuts for work. The donuts are very consistent and my co-workers enjoyed the variety given. The assorted dozen was very diverse when I asked them to pick it out for me. Personally, I love the chocolate old dashing donuts. I’ll definitely be going back.

This place is okay. We got the maple bar, chocolate cream and cake with sprinkles. Not the worst, but not mind blowing either. The cream in the chocolate donut had a good flavor. The place is really small.

We actually came in seeking bagels but they are not in the display case and clearly aren’t the focus at this bakery, so we switched to donuts instead– and were quite surprised by the quality! The maple bar is wonderful– huge, moist, beatiful icing, not too sweet. A good apple fritter is a work of art and the one here is also a hit, one in our party said it was the best she’d ever had– plenty of fruit, light cinammon, large and fresh and still slightly warm. Maple Leaf may be tiny and unremarkable from the outside corner location adjacent to a convenience store, but the donuts are worth the raves.

I’m not much of a donut guy but Maple Leaf Donuts is a good place for a reasonably priced sandwich in Los Gatos. $ 4.95 is unbeatable in this area for commodity sandwiches including the likes of ham, turkey, tuna, etc. The price is less for egg salad and slightly more to add premium ingredients like cheese, avocado, bacon etc. The staff is super-nice too. Is it the best sandwiches ever? Well, no, but the price is right, the sandwiches are fine, the ingredients are fresh and the location is convenient. Good place.

One of the best applefritters I’ve ever had– and I’m a donut connoisseur. The blueberry cake, bear claw, old fashioned, and maple bars are the only other ones I ever get but the lady threw in some free donut holes and a maple glazed yeast and I now get those as well! Really cheap, like $ 11 for a mixed dozen or $ 8 for a regular dozen. In my 10 mile radius, this is the best for sure. Daily Donut has great plain glazed when they’re hot and fresh, but everything else is better here. They are a small business though, so sometimes towards the afternoon the selection is limited as expected.

Amazing donuts and Vietnamese sandwiches. The number 12 is the best sandwich, pork bbq!

THISPLACEISAMAZING. I just moved to southern California and needed donuts delivered. They were fast, prompt, understanding, responsive, and incredibly nice!!! Before my move, I often frequent this establishment. Their donuts are delicious and the workers always greet you with a smile. My favorite are their chocolate cake donuts! I can’t wait to get back to the bay area for more of their donuts and sandwiches. 5 stars is not enough for Maple Leaf Donuts!!!

I was intrigued to try this place as it is not far off my path on the way to work(just a couple of blocks off of San Tomas Xway) and a fellow Unilocaler stated the selection and freshness rivals Stan’s Donuts. I ordered a maple donut, which was delightfully light, soft on the inside and the perfect crunchiness on the bottom. In fact, i pulled the bottom off and ate that by itself enjoying every second of the perfectly delicate crunch. Then ate the rest of the donut and enjoyed the soft mapley top half. I expected to see a bigger selection of donuts but most of it was the usual fare. I haven’t been to Stan’s in a while but still believe their donuts are in a class of their own. Maple Leaf is good, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to have a donut there, sure I will if I am having a craving on my way to work, but there was nothing extraordinarily unique about the place. Plus, a donut and a thing of milk set me back $ 3.75.it was a good size container of milk, but I didn’t need that much and would have preferred a good old-fashioned carton so as not to set me back that much.

I came here about 30 minutes before they close… they close at 2pm?! I got a few dozens of the donut holes and the nice lady even gave me some for free! They didn’t have much of a selection when I came, probably because it was almost closing time. However, the donuts that I did get, were really soft and yummy! Not too overly sweet. I would come back again to try their other stuff.

The shop is very small in a hole in the wall location. Family owned. Limited parking. I was lucky to come when it was quiet :) I had the bbq pork Vietnamese sandwich + a cup of coffee and it was delicious. I always ask for extra pickled veggies and found they make it here themselves. It’s got carrots, daikon, and jicama! Not too sweet, not too sour, just right. It really made the sandwich taste so fresh and i love the crunch. Ill be back to try their chicken sandwich next time. Oh the coffee was pretty good too. I expected it to taste like burnt cheap diner coffee but it tasted good. I really like that they were cleaning the shop. Mom was cleaning the microwave and son was sweeping the floor.

This is my new go to place for donuts. It’s about the same distance as the famous«Stan’s» except I don’t have to suffer through the cluster-fun of pointless lights. Waiting 5 mins at empty intersections.(Boo San Tomas you suck… Nobody likes you). Anyway you don’t have to get there like(senior citizen at country kitchen buffet early) to get what you want. Little lady working is a sweetheart very friendly(as well as the son? I’m assuming) They always hook you up with donut holes or something. I always get the maple bars. Basically It’s Stan’s without the lines, the moronic lights, and it’s not like Black Friday at Walmart busy.

Just visited earlier this morning and I am completely satisfied. Customer service was wonderful, prices were great, and the bagels & donut my boyfriend and I shared were awesome. I’m looking forward to this being my go to place for donuts and bagels. Thank you!

The place isn’t glamorous but it does feel homey and family ran. They had a good selection of donuts. Super fast speedy service and they were very friendly. I even got a free donut after ordering a few dozen donut holes. I would surely come back for a tasty morning treat!

Soooo coming in 10 minutes before closing was a bad idea, because the guy finagled me into the last box of everything-left at a significant discount. CAN’T SAYNOTODONUTS! Super fluffy donuts, fresh as expected, and surprisingly not overly sweet. Biggest pro/con is that it’s not 24 hours and closes at 2pm.
