GILROY GARLIC FRIES
Came here just to try them… eh. I like the new concept and by giving me a reason to come out of my way to try it, means it served its marketing purpose. I like crispy fries and I like soggy fries… but these were kinda in the middle, I don’t know how to feel about it. Kind of tasted a bit dry and crunchy.
The size is pretty small compared to the regular fries and it comes out in a cardboard plate like they do at baseball games. McD fries are salty enough but the combination of garlic makes it even more salty. Overall, I think garlic fries work best with thick cut French fries. Not enough potato means too much salt/​garlic. But still worth a try because it’s unique to the Bay Area!

I ordered medium garlic fries and all I got is ¾th of regular fries and remaining garlic fries.
This happened twice (Other time my friend brought). I didn’t see that till I reach home. If I’m ordering large they are giving it good but not for medium.
Suggestion: Please check your order before leaving the place.

My sister had gotten sexually attacked by an employee. And to find out he is still working there is very concerning. They obviously didnt take the incident seriously. I went to speak to the manager on site about the situation and he didnt want to talk to me. And on top of that another employee was making fun about the incident and this is not okay. Some kind of action needs to be taken. There are little girls and young women coming in and out of that establishment. And to think that this could happen to one of them because that individual still works there breaks my heart.

I came here for their Garlic fries. I ordered a large and when the fries come out, it was freaking small. It look like they give me the amount of fries as a small. The garlic was not even that great. If you planning to come try the garlic fries, just save yourself some time and skip it. your wallet and your stomach will thank you.

Clean, efficient McDonald’s. Friendly staff. Went for garlic fries and they whipped them up in a minute. Delicious!

What a letdown. Drove out of my way in the morning to this location to get garlic fries and found out that they didn’t have any left. Be aware of the risks…

This store is ridiculous. I used the app for discount and all the staff there gave me hard time. They did not scan it properly and if I came back with the receipt they gave me attitude or yelled at me! Last time I was trying to use the app they told me their machine wasn’t working and they couldn’t scan the app anymore.
A woman at drive through literally yelled at me for asking for creamers for my coffee. I don’t think I deserve being yelled at for buying my coffee every morning there.

My daughter loves the play ground.

The Pick 2 for $ 2 (TV Ads), BUT is $ 2.50 … Whaaat? not even hardly a discount. Employees don’t know price or why & had to ask manager … everyone never seems to know much.
Usually confusion with the orders & mistakes are so common, I don’t use the drive thru.
Stuff doesn’t even taste good … looks like they run a «loose ship.» Not worth the value for me.

Awful, consistently awful drive thru service and they don’t know how to make classic McDonald’s style French Fries! They’re always over cooked and lack salt. If the line is even remotely long, choose a different location.

DONT EVER COME HERE! Do yourself a favor and go to jack in the box. Neither service is great but jacks service at this location is far better. I ordered a quarter pounder not realizing the qp deluxe was what I should’ve ordered, because when I got my quarter pounder it lacked lettuce tomatoes and mayo. So I ask how much to add fixings and the hardly helpful guy behind the counter said I don’t know. I said well could you find out… So he goes to ask his supervisor and as I wait I notice the deluxe qp was the the same qp just with the added fixings. I also noticed it was the same exact price. By the time the guy comes back he says it’s a dollar extra. So I ask why when it clearly was the same price. Basically they charged me a dollar to switch the order when the prices were supposed to be the same. It’s not the dollar that was my concern it’s they’re jacked up way of taking your money. So fuck this shut hole id rather go out of my way to enjoy my Mickey dees on Stevens creek! If I’m paying for good service that’s exactly what I’m expecting!

I bought food at this McDonald’s on 9÷29÷2015 thru the drive thru at about 10:00pm the nuggets the gave me are COLD suggie and NASTY and OLD not to even mention the fries. I can’t believe they’re saling this crap and I’m sure it was one of the managers who have me my meal. I will for sure contact their supervisor.

I went to this restaurant on Tuesday July 14^th for lunch with my children. The drive thru individual was named Jose or Juan! He was extremely rude and kept telling me to wait as I attempted to complete my order 3 times. I ordered my Daughters the large size Double Cheeseburger meal for my Daughters and I. I specifically ordered no onions and explained to the man I was deathly allergic to onions. I verified with him when I paid for my meal and it clearly specified it on my receipt. When I received my order I asked once again, Are you sure there’s no onions on the burgers. The manager who was helping with the drive thru orders reassured me it had no onions. My daughters and I went and had a picnic at Central park and I didn’t realize until I swallowed my first bite of my burger that it did have onions! My tongue immediately swole up and thank goodness I had my epi pen in my purse, which my scare teenager had to stick me in the thigh with it or I would of stopped breathing! I immediately went to Kaiser emergency room for help! Unacceptable customer service and ignoring a customer food allergy! I will be contacting corporate customer service to file a complaint! I don’t recommend this location to anyone who has food allergies!

This place can’t even open on time! I purchase coffee every morning from this location around 5:30am but recently things have changed not sure if it’s due to new management but good luck getting served between 5:30am — 5:45am.
2 stars: Some of the staff there is pretty helpful.

Playground is great! My kids love it here and it is also very clean! Luckily it’s down the street from my house we will definitely come on the regular!

Too bad this is the closest McDonald’s by my place. I’ve only been to their drive through, and their employees don’t ever smile back at me or respond to my hello. They try to rip me off consistently by giving me half full fries container. Seriously? That’s the only reason I go to McDonald’s…

It’s a 4 star for me since what I love is… not the food but the coffee and the play place. I love having my coffee while the kids burn some energy on a rainy or cold day. It’s always pretty packed which is fun. It’s in a pretty accessible location but it’s not the most «posh» or «new» McDonald’s. Really great for the kids.

Came here only once and used the drive thru — they got our order correct and were very quick.

** Complaint against JULIO (Wannabe Manager) **
I had ordered my food through the drive through, drove home, and noticed my apple pies were missing from my order.
I drove back through the drive through and informed the lady through the speaker that I was there to pickup my 2 apple pies that were left out of my order. (I was very polite at this point). The lady instructed me to present my receipt and pull up to the window.
I approached the window.
JULIO gave me a sarcastic look and grabbed the receipt from my hand without saying a word. He then left the window and returned handing me a bag still saying absolutely nothing and giving me a sarcastic look. I sat there for about 30 seconds or so before I was going to drive off and said, «Aren’t you going to at least have the courtesy of giving me an apology for leaving my pies out of my order.» He immediately responded by saying, «Well I usually wait until I hand the customer the food before I give any apology, and you beat me to it.» It’s like this was a regular occurrence for him. (I knew he would not have said a word).
I asked if he was the manager, and he said «Yes.» I told him he was a pretty lousy manager. He then told me I was a lousy customer. I then drove off. He then leaned out from the drive through flipping me off as I drove away.
Is this the kind of management McDonald hires to represent their stores?
I have never been treated this way by any restaurant I have ever visited in my life.
I left a message for the McDonalds Store Owner to contact me, but he never did.
I will certainly never be going back there again.
Any real manager would have presented the customer with an apology immediately before filling their missing order. They would not have required to look at the receipt first. It’s like they didn’t believe me and that a customer would drive all the way back over through their drive through to con them out of (2) apple pies with a total cost value of 1 dollar. :o).
If I had a manager like Julio who responded the way he did he would be fired on the spot!

Mmmmm mmmmm!
I wanna bite, I wanna squeeze, I wanna nibble, on some cheese.
Bring me some bacon, bring me some buns, bring me more french fries, until I am done.
I’ll hold on the mayonnaise, and hold on the pickles, and drink lots of sweet tea, till off my face it trickles.
I’ll eat apple pies, parfaits, salads, and more,
until it’s time I head for the door.
So I’ll save up my ducketts until I am wealthy, and return for some more food, that’s tasty and healthy.
