It’s a cute little cozy place, a bit outdated but that’s just what made it the place they wanted to be. My partner and I went in around 9am since we were going to great America and it was still early we decided to look up some breakfast place and we found this. The people who works there are very nice and welcoming and I think they are a married couple and I believe they are also the owners of it. The wife approached us and welcomed us and suggested some items in the menu… The food was very tasty I forgot what it was coz my partner was the one who ordered it lol. I would recommend this place if ever you guys are around. oh and the price is reasonable.

Stopped in here for the first time the other day — staff was very friendly and efficient, and the food was very tasty. Nice place to stop by and grab a bag of chips and a drink for a quick snack as well — prices very reasonable.

The definition of Mom and Pop. I love it. The folks here are super friendly and the food is home made and delicious. Don’t be afraid to give it a try. Reminds me of eating breakfast with my grandparents.

Always pleasant service and good food made to my tastes. Pricey but any type of mom and pop shop in this valley is going/needs to be really.

Very tasty meditteranean food! We ordered eastern veggie platter and it was very very tasty! Especially the lentils and falafels! Do try this place :) Could improve the ambience a little bit more near the serving counter for which i took off one star. But the food– very tasty! Ps: had butter cookie for dessert and it was very homely!

I was meeting a friend for lunch and found this place while perusing a Unilocal map of nearby restaurants. Most of the other food offerings around here seemed fairly dull, but this one caught my eye. We arrived at 11:30, well before the lunch rush. No one else was in the restaurant, so we got instantaneous service. I had seen the reviews about the poor customer service, but I guess when you’re the only show in town then you’ll get the attention of everyone there. I order a lamb and beef gyros plate. The pita in which it was served was pleasantly soft and warm. There was a reasonable amount of meat inside, and it wasn’t drowning in tzatziki sauce. It came with a side of tabouleh salad and hummus, which were both good. Unfortunately, I rarely find myself near this establishment so I will probably not have an opportunity to return. I liked this place; I found the workers to be friendly and attentive. One piece of advice: count your change. I was short-changed by a dollar, which I noticed right away, but I was going to put a buck in the tip jar anyway so I didn’t say anything.

It’s a tiny deli places that makes great Mediterranean plate(with vegetarian options available). The interior looks a bit old but the food is so delicious. A must try if you are around this area! This place is way better, tastier and more genuine than regular/chain kebab or Greek restaurants. You can get a good sample of traditional Mediterranean food for about 10 $. It’s a mom and pop place(the old couple/owner cooks). The staff is extremely lovely and helpful. Make sure you try the green chili purée.

I you want to dine on real food prepared properly while you watch. Come to Old Ironsides. Just look for the work trucks outside at lunch time. We know where to find a healthy whole some eatery.

If you’re strictly into the taste of food, this place is your place! Ambience is not their strength. However, there is a nice outdoor area with a few tables. The recipes are great. They do not save in ingredients… they are generous with the olive oil and ingredients. I strongly recommend trying this place for their food and think their recipes are better than other Mediterranean restaurants in the region such as Athena Grill and Agape Grill, however if ambience is important for you then pick Athena and Agape.

The people who own this restaurant are so incredibly lovely and grateful. They note that they’ve just celebrated 27 years in business with three more years left before retirement. The lamb gyro plates are delicious. Everything is made to order. Menu is extensive. Prices are reasonable. Lots of tables. Super casual. Plenty of parking. Relaxed scene. Beautiful garden seating in the back on pretty days. Feels like visiting relatives in Greece.

A gem near my house. I never knew about this place until a friend mentioned it who had gone there long time. Searched it up, went today for lunch. I am a veggie and my friend was too so we ordered veggie philly and veggie falafel wrap platter. Veggie Philly was very good. Falafel wrap platter was fresh and good but then we find these things in other places too. Liked the fact that it was family run. Good service. Ambiance is okay but there is this smell that lingers.

I was a bit skeptical about going to this place. Location was in the middle of a bunch businesses(no foot traffic). Menu didn’t look particularly appetizing and the place itself was kinda depressing but that falafel sandwich… it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had in my life. That’s all I can really say, nothing else matters. I should go get one to go for my flight back home.

A good place in the middle of an Industrial Hub. I went there with my colleague and I ordered a Club Sandwich and a Lentil soup, while he had a Chicken gyro and the Lentil soup. I would definitely say it was a healthy option I chose. The club sandwich was full of veggies and the turkey I requested for. Nice ambience and very sweet owners. The gyro was good from what my colleague explained, except that there was too much Mayo in it. I think I will be visiting this place more since it is hardly 2mins away from my workplace!

This café is a great little gem. It’s a little standalone place in an office park that has been there for decades, a throwback to old-school Silicon Valley before there were so many soulless strip-mall chain options. The place has a lot of history. The people run the place are enormously friendly. Good portions; reasonable price. Is it the best falafel or gyro you have ever had? No, but it’s a great spot for lunch with friends. It’s never overcrowded, the service is quick, and the parking is easy. One of my favorite lunch spots when I want to ditch the more crowded places nearby. I like the gyro and falafel(in case you haven’t guessed). It’s at least as good as places like The Castle, Olives, and Sajj, with a lot more personal service and shorter lines if you go through the trouble to find it.

During my conference at Santa Clara Convention Center I came by this small café tucked inside the office complexes to grab a quick bite. I ordered the falafel wrap with turkish coffee. The wrap was really fresh and made well. The falafel bites tasted crisp and cooked to perfection. Loved this small find and thanks to a friend who recommended that we come here for lunch. They are closed Sundays.

Check this café out for its mediterranean food with an Arabic flair. The gyro was tasty and fresh with enough sauce to dress up the meats. The staff was kind and helpful in suggesting new things to try as well as customize my plate with a side of falafel and kibbeh(from the Sahara plate). Parking is ample, but this place will get crowded around lunch time. The place is a bit dim and the bathrooms are outside around the corner, but it’s worth a try just to find this hidden gem.

I’ve eaten here several times, and so far this café’s Falfel Sandwich has been the only one I can actually finish and crave for more. The café is located on the first floor of an area surrounded by office buildings. The owners are sweet and welcoming. :)
