I wish I can give this store and its owner ZERO star. I booked a U-​Haul van a week ago for picking up it tomorrow. I also checked in and I am ready to get it tomorrow morning. However, today he just called me to let me know that it is unavailable. It is very UNPROFESSIONAL given that we are moving out tomorrow. The prices of moving supplies are also higher than those listed on U-​Haul web. I will never come back to this store again to save my time and avoid trouble.

Amazing service! There is a similar shop on Homestead and hollenbeck and they don’t do media mail and giving me no tracking! On Mondays when the lines are crazy at the post office I can send my amazon books to this shop and they do media mail with the tracking! The son and the dad always provide amazing customer service. The costs are comparable to the post office. Thanks for being convenient!

I have mailed packages through this location for the past 3 years. John is brilliant! Excellent knowledge about packaging, fantastic attitude and the best service! There is no package is too small or too big for him. All packages are treated with respect and absolute care. I don’t think I will be going anywhere else when I need to mail packages.

Very dissatisfied with this facility :(I went in to drop off a UPS pre-​paid return (Amazon) and the employee said he would accept the package. I asked for a receipt and he would NOT give me a receipt or tracking number. I told him that the facility ½ mile down the road would issue a receipt (not on my way at the time) and he handed me back the package and said ‘Take it there’. So I did. Any facility that will not offer a receipt of acceptance is NOT ok in my book :(

What a great experience. There was a really nice guy at the desk (I’m guessing this is John), and he explained the whole process of renting a mailbox very calmly and clearly. I really feel safe and welcome here, which has become so important after moving to the Bay Area and having to move so often, dealing with so much money with so many people.
It’s wonderful to find a place like this every once in a while! Postal Annex certainly has my trust.
Side note: Don’t pull into the driveway too fast, it’s pretty steep. Also watch out coming from 280 N onto Lawrence during rush hour… That exit is ridiculous. Otherwise fantastic location in the middle of everything!

Incredibly friendly shop, will use from now on. My realtors fax machine was screwing up and they were kind enough to not only put the fax through multiple times but also wait and retry to accommodate for my realtors poor fax machine. Had great talks about a whole range of subjects while I was there. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Thank you mailing gods for this PostalAnnex+. What I thought would be a daunting task turned out to be the easiest thing I did all day. I had to ship a bunch of boxes all of which were different sizes and rather cumbersome. The hardest thing I had to do was lift them on the counter (which they offered to help with) and they did the rest. I was shocked how fast it took. I will definitely be back!

Buying a home = a lot of paperwork to notarize. The afternoon we went by the Postal Annex, there was only one guy there doing everything, but he helped us sign everything and got off our Fedex package pretty quickly.
The notary prices seem pretty standard, but he was very nice and did a thorough job.

I need a rush notarization of travel documents and chose this place because it was open earlier (7am) than anyone else by far. What I found was someone extremely knowledgeable and helpful. That was enough to make it a good experience. But how personable and friendly he was, it actually a pleasurable start to my day. I would never expect signing forms to be a pleasant experience.
I would (and will) happily come back here.

**DO NOT** mail any priority flat rate boxes from Postal Annex. Yesterday I mailed one because I thought it would be more convenient. Chuck charged me $ 25 and I brought my own box, which I had picked up from the post office. The flat rate for the box is $ 13. I think that is a completely unreasonable markup. This made me so sad :-(The service is really good, but he was multi-​tasking and I don’t think coming here saved me more time than going to the post office on Kiely. 100% markup on flat rate priority shipping box?! really?!

I have been a loyal customer for over five years. I recommend Postal Annex to everyone
that needs this type of service. Great location near Kaiser Santa Clara, not far from Hwy 280. Chuck and his family are always friendly, polite, and very helpful. They make you feel like not just a valued customer, but a friend. Over the years, I have had many packages shipped there, including tires, computers, and big screen TV’s. They also do a great job packaging and shipping items of all sizes at fair prices.
Even though I live in North San Jose, I will always drive to Postal Annex to support this wonderful place, and see my friend Chuck!

This is my go to place for shipping, initially found it when I lived nearby but I drive out of the way to go here and only here even after moving away.
Chuck, the owner, is super helpful, always friendly and treats me and the kids like friends and family. He keeps a supply of used boxes on hand if you want to take advantage of them instead of new ones and is very thorough in how he packs things. I did a lot of eBay business shipping through him and he made sure the goods got there on time at the lowest cost.

The owner seems to have a personal relationship with all his customers.
Its great that’s this place is opened later than the post office.
My only complaint is that he should cut the small talk if other customers are waiting.=)
