The company rep advised me that I first have to purchase the machine and then pay $ 79 monthly to rent it till my insurance approves the purchase if I prove that for 10 months I consistently use it… say what??? I had a supervisor double-​check it for me and was told the same thing. I called my insurance and they said that they absolutely do not require it! And guess what? The «negotiated price» they asked me to pay upfront plus «rent» would exceed the retail price of the device! And those constant robocalls! It took me a month to get them to stop bugging me! The company appears to be running a scam.

I have been using Pulmonary Solutions for just over a year and it has been a total nightmare. They have never, not once, shipped my resupplies on time. It typically takes 3 — 4 weeks beyond when I am supposed to get new supplies. I have full insurance coverage, so there’s no excuse for not getting me my equipment, when they PROMISE to ship my supplies to me. I have tried multiple times to call and speak to supervisors. And every time they claim that they will handle my account personally and make sure my supplies get shipped on time, so that there is no lapse in my equipment. But yet again, no supplies have been shipped to me and now 5 days after they were supposed to arrive, I receive voicemail indicating that they need to receive a co-​pay BEFORE they will ship me my supplies! My account has always been in good standing and there has never been a time where I was delinquent on my co-​pays. They should have resolved my co-​pay long before the shipments were past due.
Do NOT use Pulmonary Solutions! I have used Pacific Pulmonary in the past and will be transferring my Rx to them!

I wish there was a negative stars review. This company is horrible. Got my cpap. Turns out it was the wrong device (my physician had prescribed something different). I get the machine, but no support or instruction. I try desperately to contact the company. Each rep tells that my situation is truly abhorrent and they apologize profusely for the prior lack of service. They then promise to fix the situation and to call me back within hours. NO ONE EVER CALLS ME BACK. So u am stuck with going through the process of calling again. I leave messages for supervisors and regional manager explaining my plight. Never hear a thing back
If your insurance carrier tells you that Pulmonary Solutions is their selected vendor then push back with all your might and energy, and save yourself from extreme aggravation.

Customer service on the phone was brutally bad. The customer service person hung up on me. They handle calls in Vegas for their branch offices. Don’t expect to get the same information from the branch location as the Vegas central office — they aren’t coordinated. I also spoke with a Vegas rep that said my insurance was approved and the next business day, a different rep said they hadn’t received it and said the other rep was new to the company and had told me the wrong information. I called my insurance and they had approved it and sent it on the day the «new» rep had received it.

This company’s billing process is a MESS — they continue to have auto dialed collections calls, live collectors call me, etc but i’ve sent them three payments for the three invoices I did actually receive in the mail. I have one new outstanding invoice i received for a small amount this month but when i called they HAVE STILL NOT APPLIED THE CASH I HAVE SENT THEM. Their accounting department, or systems people need to be fired. That place is mismanaged. It will be a cold day in hell when I give a company that is so disorganized any more personal information then they already have, let alone a credit card number, are you kidding??? No way Jose you’re getting checks from me until you can prove you’re not going to double or triple bill me and you’re going to apply the money to my account when I send it. GET WITH THE PROGRAM.

Basically, they are inept. If you need to use them, ask for the supervisor when ever you call or have an issue. Otherwise, you will get into a phone tree with people who cannot speak English and most likely cannot help you.

Decided to use Pulmonary Solution because they were closest to my home. They called me a **week** after receiving my prescription to ask for my insurance details. Really?
Reading the other comments here makes me wonder if I should find another supplier. I will post a follow up in 2 – 3 weeks with my experience (good or bad) as this moves forward.

The worst experiences ever. Got a call from them saying they are processing my order on 7⁄14. Then nothing until I called them on 7⁄30. They said, they are still waiting for a few documents from the dr. I have confirmed with the dr that everything was sent to them on 7⁄8. Even if there is something missing, 2.5 weeks are too long not to follow up. It seems they don’t care much about their business and their clients. So why should we care about them?

Terrible, terrible company. I won’t list their transgressions, but I’ve had a horrible three-​year experience with them. Too sick to fight it or change companies until now. I’m turning them in to Blue Cross for fraudulent billing. Avoid them at all costs.

My turn to chime in on their fraudulent billing practices of their Las Vegas office. I made a payment to them via credit card on 7÷16÷2014 for services. I received a «past due» bill for the exact same invoice dated 7÷23÷2014. I spoke to «Nezia» who confirmed that they received my payment and to disregard the past due notice.
Fast forward to today and I just received the exact same invoice number but for a much higher amount now.
I’m reporting them to BBB and any other fraud watch company I can find. This is insane.

I was contacted by the company via Unilocal with a nice message and a telephone number and email address to use to resolve my problem. The telephone number was a perpetual busy signal. I did get an email response that they had verified I do not have a balance and have closed my account per my request. Hopefully, this will be the last of it.

I went into this being very skeptical, based on the reviews. My experience was pleasant.
My doctor forwarded a prescription to these folks — they are in the Insurance network. I got a call and then for 2 weeks nothing happened. Apparently they were getting an approval from the Insurance provider.
I had my appointment today. The technician was Francisco, and was patient and knowledgeable. He even volunteered to calibrate my old machine with the new settings. I fthis is the Service I recieve, I will go there again. Let’s see how they perform for the follow up — new masks every 3 months etc., If they dont come thru I will change the rating for sure.

My husband went to them. Terrible service and they don’t listen. I got 4 bills from them. Paid them their $ 20 when the first one was sent. They I kept getting bills. On the 4th bill they threatened to send me to a collection agency. Keep in mind I had paid them over a month earlier. They kept adding on late charges. I finally called them and the lady acknowledged that I had paid and said as a service to me they’d waive the late fees. People… I already paid you.
Avoid this place at all cost.

These guys are scam artists. Why my dr. sent me to them I will never know.
They called me and said I owed them money. They said it wasn’t covered under my insurance. I paid them. Then saw that my insurance company DID pay them. They refused to refund my money and offered me «credit». Next, time I used them and the «credit», I get another bill. Saying I didn’t pay and I have late fees. They claim they will then fix it and never do.
I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and opened a case against them.
If anyone is starting a class action law suit, count me in. These guys are scamming people hard.

I’ve had the following problems occur during my two years of ordering supplies from Pulmonary Solutions:
1) My phone call regularly gets dropped while I’m navigating the phone tree
2) Leaving my order with the «supply concierge» means receiving no supplies
3) Lost order
4) Request to be sent monthly email supply refill reminder not properly processed
5) Mixed-​bag when it comes to the level of professionalism of the customer service people
Unfortunately, Pulmonary Solutions is the only provider in my insurance company’s network.
These are easy problems to fix, it says a lot about the company that they haven’t invested in correcting them.

I don’t even have the emotional energy to write what I have been through with this company. Some of the people who work there are very nice, that said I have spent months sleep deprived, have left so many voice-​mails crying because I couldn’t get necessary equipment. Read the other reviews to get a taste, I have my own story, but I’m just too exhausted to tell it.
PLEASE, save yourself misery and find another company!!!
I wish I had read the reviews before signing up. This experience has sold me on always checking Unilocal before choosing an important provider.
I can’t vouch for it, but it looks like CPAP Services in San Jose has 5 stars. I hope that’s an accurate reflection. I plan to switch to them.
Write me if you think we should file a class action lawsuit. I think we should.

After my fourth attempt to deal with this company, I am permanently switching to one of the large Internet-​only CPAP dealers. PS are just plain incompetent — stupid even. Unhelpful — I mean, my CPAP is broken right now, and they don’t seem to care. Won’t even return my phone calls.
Want my theory on how an entire office full of people can be stupid? It’s simple: whoever is in charge gets to interview every new hire candidate, and can’t stand «smartasses». She never hires anyone that acts like they know more than she does (which they probably do), so the idiots prevail.

I spoke to someone on the phone about supplies I needed, she checked my insurance and said I was good to go, so I went to the Santa Clara office and low and behold I needed an additional authorization, which should have been communicated initially.

The worst accounting dept I have ever dealt with. Even worse than Stanford. Started billing me out of the blue two years after I stopped using them. They billed the insurance company for months after I stopped using them as well. I have asked in 6 emails for them to provide paperwork to prove that I owe them anything (which I don’t) since I was on automatic credit card billing. They «promised» the bill is accurate in an email but failed to back it up with a shred of paperwork. They said they did a «diligent» account review but it took two years to decide to wrongly bill me? They claim no paperwork is available because it was all bundled up and archived. Really? How would they have an amount to bill me with? Not to mention that is a lie since it is all on computer anyway.
Three months have gone by since those 6 emails and today they send an adjusted bill but no paperwork. Arghhh! Truly dense people.
Stay away from these people at all costs. Their billing borders on fraud.
