More like«Taqueria en un Parque Industrial Gigante.» Mmmm… carpets. This place is in the middle of a huge industrial park, right next to MMM Carpets. It’s also directly underneath the flight path for the San Jose airport. Despite all this, the atmosphere was actually pretty nice. I went on a sunny day, sat outside in the breeze and the shade… the only noise at all was the occasional plane. It was very relaxing. The street it’s on has VERY light traffic. In fact, this may be a problem for them. I went at a little after noon, and I was the only one there. A couple others came in too, and the proprietors seemed to know at least one of them by first name. This was not your normal bustling taqueria. The place itself is pretty large, and has a huge bar but I don’t think they have a liquor license. Maybe cerveza. I ordered a «burrito vegetariano»(the menu is in spanish, but it’s obvious) and chips y salsa. The chips and salsa were $ 1 extra, but worth it. Very good chips, pretty good salsa. They had corporate horchata, so I got water. Total: $ 5.41. It’s cash only. The burrito was one of those vegetarian burritos with *gasp* vegetables in it. I usually don’t like that, but this one was good. It had potato, carrot, cucumber, tomato, rice & beans, and maybe some other things. All were well cooked, not crunchy. I noted that it was a little small, but I was definitely full by the end of the meal. It was pretty tasty. Served with a side of lime. In fact, I’d give this place 4 stars, but I had to take one off for the corporate horchata and extra charge for chips.
