We found our go-to taqueria for this area. Standard taqueria protocol of large portions and low prices. Nachos are fire and they never let down on a burrito.

Breakfast burritos are super good, I think the bacon could be cooked a little longer but that’s more of a personal thing. I’ve also had the Torta, tacos and asada burrito, all are really good.

Walked to this small, authentic place from my hotel. You order at the counter and they offer many American and Mexican sodas. I got the enchiladas with rice and beans. They give complementary chips and salsa but watch out– the salsa has some kick! My meal was perfectly portioned and delicious. It had one cheese, one beef, and one chicken enchilada topped with the spicy salsa. The wait time was super short, probably under 10 minutes. It was chilly when I stopped in but they also have a small cute patio that you can enjoy when the weather is nice. One disappointment was that they do not serve alcohol so there was no margarita with my meal this time.

Solid tacos. It could get a little slow at lunch due to the lunch rush, but worth the wait and very authentic Taqueria with the usual list of meats. Not gringofied.

I haven’t been here in awhile but when I did I loved their salsa and tacos. Check this place out if you live in the area. Authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price.

If you want good mexican food for about the same price as Chipotle you should definitely come here. The food is really good but not great and, depending on what time you go because it is a restaurant and a popular diner option, it can take a bit longer to get your food than other taquerias. Their quesedillas are good and come with lots of toppings and the burritos are good as well. If you are looking for more authentic mexican food this is definitely the spot.

Came here yesterday and order the super nachos with Asada, the meat was salty and it was more like ground beef with a lot of seasoning on it the meat was chop that small that it was like ground beef. The reason I came here is because of the four star ratings And was looking for a new place for Mexican food in Santa Clara. I’m going to be fair and give it 3 stars because the super nachos is the only thing I tried here and Service was great Here no problems there just the nacho where bad.

Got the enchilada plate. Pretty good and cheap(around $ 8). Comes with free tortilla chips and salsa while you wait for your food.

Just ate there for the first time today. My coworker and I absolutely loved it. The meat was good. the beans were good. Even the chip were good! The best was the table salsa! it was spicy and fresh at the same time. I got the enchilada plate, it needed sour cream, but eh either way it was good. My co-worker and I will defiantly eat there again! the reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because there is only on girl working the front. it takes time to put in an order. but the food is on the table quickly! Oh! and their Tortillas are hand made there at the diner!

This place is absolutely amazing. My friend and I were starving and in the mood for authentic Mexican food. I found this place on Unilocal and I can’t even begin to say how good everything was. They were extremely sweet, were super quick, and the food was AMAZING. These are by far the best carne asada nachos I’ve ever had. The chips were crispy and not at all oily like most places, the avocado fresh and flavorful, and the meat just perfectly tender… also, my horchata was on point! My friend’s tacos de pollo were bomb too! Definitely found my go-to place for food that tastes good without making me feel overly full later! Definitely recommended to anyone in the mood for Mexican!

I was excited to try a little hole in the wall. I expected hot delicious tacos. Instead I got lukewarm tacos. Carne asada taco looked and tasted like bland ground beef. The taco al pastor was greasy and tasted like yesterdays leftovers. :-(. The tacos came with one tiny slice of pickled jalapeño for all 3 tacos. The size of the tacos was tiny tortillas. At least they were only $ 2 each so not a huge dent on the wallet. The salsa on the table with the chips was not bad. The chips were warm. So that pushed them up from 1 star to 2 stars. I will continue my search for a go to taco spot. If only I could transport to Mexico for street tacos!

Love their tacos… and they have really really good horchata. Food comes out pretty quickly. You can also phone in your order for pick up. Service is ALWAYS friendly. Definitely one of my favorites! Gets busy busy busy at lunch time. :-)

Happened on this restaurant by chance when I was walking down El Camino. Very nice place and good customer service: they smile when you place the order and serve you food. The food: Tacos were pretty cheap $ 1.75 ! Awesome!(I needed a little hot sauce for my Indian tongue) and they serve you complimentary nachos and salsa for just getting Tacos! Wooot! Super tasty salsa and nachos. Loved it.

Would definitely recommend this place. Cheap Mexican food that tastes good? Done. I ordered their chicken burrito and the chicken was nice and moist(I hate to use that word, but it was). Got a large horchata to share with the bf and it was a perfect size. Their chips and salsa were also on point — chips not too greasy, salsa had nice flavor.

Not a bad little place. Not many veggie items on the menu but the re-fried beans have no lard and they were really good. The chips and salsa were good and the tortillas were just ok, not like freshly made that day or anything. Overall it wasn’t expensive and the service was great and friendly. Worked out well when I was in that part of town and was starving for something quick.

I was ready to be blown away by delicious fish tacos and the spicy shrimp plate but in the end I think the house salsa was the most impressive and noteworthy item I got. The spicy shrimp plate was spicy and they let me swap out the beans for extra rice, but the texture of all the seafood items was mushier than anyone wants their sea life to be. It was all very clearly frozen before, which I don’t mind at all and for that price I certainly don’t expect it to be the day’s fresh catch but while priced well and generous on the portions, the seafood dishes are definitely not the highlights of this menu. And even though I didn’t get them, the carne asada nachos look like a dream and a half, as do their egg breakfast dishes. I also got an horchata to drink which was less sweet than most horchatas I’ve come across but in that moment, exactly what I wanted and super enjoyable. The service was spectacular. Super informative and very accommodating, especially for a place that’s order at the counter style. Note that while they do accept credit cards, you can only tip in cash so make sure you’ve got some scratch on ya.

Finally, I found a good Mexican restaurant close to my shop(3 miles away). Found this place by accident while driving down El Camino, Unilocaled it and gave it a try. The service is great, very nice people. For sure a go to place when In working and craving Mexican food! Best part, the free chips and salsa are on point :) Muy amables, y la comida esta bien deliciosa!

I actually found this place to be a little overrated. I was really craving tacos last night so I decided to come to the closest spot to get some tacos for my friends to share as well. The prices were reasonable($ 1.75 per taco), but in the end it just wasn’t that good. The corn tortillas were not as soft as most other places, and their carne asada was almost like … ground beef. It was not at all what I had experienced on Sunday when I had that delicious carne asada taco from Caguamas Tacos y Mariscos. :( Their carne asada nachos were also just ok because of the«carne asada» they used, which, again, looked like ground beef and didn’t have that carne asada taste to it. The nachos honestly were just nothing special. I don’t really recommend this place for good Mexican food if you’re looking for specifically their star menu item, the carne asada nachos, or any of their tacos as I got about 4 – 5 different meats to share with friends.
