Just tried to order by phone for pick up but they didn’t answer. It’s only 8:30pm & all their info on the website says they are open till 9. Oh well, this is the second time I’ve run into this issue… guess I’ll have to keep going to the one on Homestead.

Im not one for buffet style eats but sometimes if you’re in a hurry and you cant decide what you want, it’s a compromise. The trick is to wait for the ones that have just come out of the oven. Guess they’ve gone the wayside so Im guessing the college kids have one less low price mucho food place to go.

No worries everyone. The owners of Stuft Pizza said everyone was found another position before they closed. They didn’t want anyone left out. That is very nice of them. What a respectable business and owners.

What a bummer to learn they have closed! =( I first came here during my SCU freshman orientation with some other orient-tees(?!). It was a normal experience with new friends. Pizza = yum. Then I continued to come here, often with my man, usually on Tuesdays for their all-you-can-eat nights. Unlimited pizza = double yum! I am really sad they closed. We drove by it recently and I remember saying«we should eat there again… I miss their pizza!» boohoo… =( Thank you Stuft for always making me stuffed. You’ll be missed by SCU students, alum, and neighbors.

:(They’re closing when I’ve never really eaten here?! Whaaaaaaat?! I tried a slice of pizza last year from my friend, but I was never able to come here and experience Stuft Pizza for myself!!! :(

A eulogy, perhaps, is in order. University Stuft Pizza was laid to rest on 31 March. The last great pizza buffet is no more. The proprietor was so nice it was creepy. My theory was he was some sort of born-again, but maybe he was just from Minnesota or something. University Stuft Pizza is survived by the Mountain Mike’s buffet on Hamilton in Campbell and the Round Table across the street on Park.

Being a student at SCU this place is a must. I heard about it non stop when I first got here and decided to give it a try. I was not very impressed. Pizza is pizza and is usually good, which this was. I just didn’t think it lived up to its hype.

Staff is super nice and the pizzas are to die for! I usually get their launch buffet or the pepperoni Wednesdays. I brought my girlfriend, her parents and a couple of friends the other day and they gave us one person for free for a lunch buffet. They are awesome!

Pepperoni heaven. This was also the first place where I tried Pesto pizza. It’s a great place to watch the game, if you’re into that sort of thing. The crust is very different. I don’t know if they have a baker making it or if they sprinkle ferry dust into it. My only gripe is that when the older white manager(owner?) is working he can be very stingy with the pizza during the All You Can Eat Night or the lunch buffet. It’s a buffet, you can’t run out of pizza and you should have a variety of pies available for your customers.

I love their pepperoni pizza. As you look through my reviews… you’ll be able to tell that pepperoni is really the only thing I ever order. But, for a reason. It’s classic, savory, and salty! This location has it down. The cheese, sauce, and pepperoni are all delicious! The crust is super yummy. This pizza is not for thin crust lovers(although I’m sure they’d make it thin if you requested it) — it’s more of the thick Chicago style. About halfway to deep dish. I’ve been there about 3x now and it’s been great each time. The employees are extremely personable and helpful & it makes me want to come here on my lunch breaks and enjoy great food and service. I will be back to consume! I believe I’ve stretched my stomach to about 4 times the average size now. All in the name of delicious pizza. :) Update: I love a place where the staff make an effort to be nice and offer you specials when they recognize you as a frequent customer. The consistency and thoughtfulness is what makes a business like this successful. Good job guys!

If you like a 1:3(flavorless) crust to pizza ratio then Stuft is good for you. I however am not a big fan of crust especially when it has no taste. Stuft’s crust(don’t confuse that with stuffed crust) is huge and really just tastes like blah. I know that isn’t terribly descriptive, but I could think of no better word. I always leave about a fifth of the pizza left on the plate. That fifth is crust. The pizza itself is ok. But not great. Its really greasy and the bottom can get pretty soggy from al of the excess grease. Even if you kill about a tree and a half worth of napkins trying to remove the grease, you will still see oil drip off of the pizza. The salad bar is standard. The veggies are fresh enough. But why would you go to a pizza place for the salad bar? On the week days you can get lunch there. About $ 8 for all you can eat pizza(one slice at a time), all you can eat salad, and bottomless soda. Its not a bad deal, but I can never get myself to eat more than two slices of pizza, no matter how hungry I am. And trust me, I can put away pizza. The place is pretty good to watch sports. But Round Table next door has way more TV’s and if you ask me it has better pizza. The parking lot is also pretty awful and small. So overall I would skip out on Stuft and head somewhere else. Unless you love lame crust of course.

The perfect place to catch UEFA Champions League when all the other sports bars around stubbornly refuse to show soccer on the big screen. — — – Food: Out of four possible stars: three stars. All you can eat pizza and soup-or-salad used to be a good deal when I was younger and had a more elastic stomach. So forgive me if there is a touch of nostalgia in this review. Combination pizza is by far their best offering of AYCE pizza. Having both sausage and vegetables on your slice gives you at least the feeling of eating somewhat healthy. As for the soup and salad, if the soup is Italian Wedding, I go for the soup. Otherwise, I’d choose salad. The non-AYCE pizza selection is much wider. They have a very nice spinach, zucchini and artichoke pizza. If it was offered for AYCE, this review would be bumped to five stars. — — – Miscellaneous: Out of one possible star: one star. Go often enough and the staff will recognize your face and know before you open your mouth what you want and how you want it. Customer service at its best.

Mmmm I grew up on this pizza. Not the best pizza by any means, probably is more of a nostalgic thing for me. But the prices are reasonable, the pizzas big, and the staff friendly.

I am a big pizza fan and some may even call me a pizza expert… :) Stuft Pizza gets two tumbs up for me. I ordered a Pepperoni pizza with pesto sauce instead of marinara. I’ve also tried their Canadian Bacon & PIneapple pizza(ehh… 2 stars). Anyway, my favorite is their Pepperoni pizza with pesto sauce. I am not a big fan of pepperoni but their pepperoni is really good. It had just enough spice so as not to ruin the taste. The crust is soft and tastes freshly baked… believe me, I know the smell and taste of old dough. The combination of the pesto, cheese, pepperoni and bread is delicious! I took a star off for service. It’s so-so. I always come in to pick up my pizza. It’s always hot and fresh. They tend to over estimate how long it will take to be ready. Tip for all you Unilocalers: pizza usually takes about 15 minutes to make and have ready. I don’t like cold pizza. The inside looks decent; what a typical pizza place would look like — full off sports memorabilia and other décor, television, old arcades, and old toy vending machines. Thus far, Stuft Pizza is one of the best pizza places I’ve had in the South Bay. I recommend their pepperoni pizza with pesto sauce. I’m happiest when I have a coupon(Large 1 topping for $ 10.99 plus tax). Otherwise, the price is a little on the high side.

I really like Stuft’s because of the great customer service. The gentleman who’s usually here is very hospitable and patient. Yes, you have to wait for your pizza and it’s a little on the pricier side, but your pizza is made fresh and it’s just so yummy! Love any and all the pizzas with garlic: D

I’ve been here multiple times with friends while attending SCU. A few things to consider: 1. The prices you pay here are pretty high. I feel like a decent sized pizza goes for about $ 15, and if you are eating with several others, $ 24. Should pizza cost this much, I have no idea. 2. Students hold their fundraisers here. 3. The sports is addicting to watch. The service is great. If you come in often enough you often see the manager there, and he is willing to help you out with whatever you need. The place in general is not very crowded and you can find a space to eat, chat with friends or watch sports. Bottomless soda is also great too.

I came here the other night and the pizza was good but the beer was pretty expensive. A foamy Blue Moon pitcher was $ 16. That’s kind of crappy. I give it 3 stars. The rest of my review is from my boyfriend’s first experience here just last week. On Wednesday nights large peperoni pizzas are only $ 9.99 and you don’t need a coupon to get it. Well my boyfriend and his friend came here on a Wednesday evening, did not know the large peperoni pizza was only $ 9.99 and they ordered a medium peperoni pizza thinking that would be a good size for them. They put their order in, paid the $ 15 not including tip and sat down. After sitting down, they saw a sign that advertises the $ 9.99 large peperoni pizza. Wondering why the person at the counter did not tell them of the deal, they go up and ask if they can have a large instead for $ 9.99 price. They couldn’t because they already put the medium pizza in the oven. Okay, that’s fair. You put the pizza in the oven, it’s on its way to being cooked. However, WHYTHEHELL did the person at the counter tell them they are paying $ 5 more for a smaller pizza and would save money by ordering the $ 9.99 large? Shame on the counter guy for REALLYBAD customer service. That’s just not cool. Dang, it pisses me off just writing about this. I’m taking away another star. University Stuft Pizza, you have a shitty employee on your hands. Side note: my boyfriend just old me that the guy at the counter looked like the owner. Now that’s just shameful.

Here are some decent lunchtime options: 1) For health and price conscious consumers: A slice of pizza, salad, and a bottomless soda for about $ 6. 2) For those who could care less about their health and bank account: All you can eat pizza, salad, and a bottomless soda for like $ 8. Whenever I am here, I always opt for choice number two.

I have been going to this Stuft Pizza 2 – 3 times a month for about 8 years now, and the last time I was there I decided that I should write a reiview. The short version is, «I LOVETHISPIZZAPLACE!». Probably, you would like to hear why… THEPIZZA: Nice bready, crust with a nice puffy ring around the edge that is crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The sauce is flavorful and interesting, but overly spicy. The cheese is high quality and fresh(not frozen) and pulls out into ropey strings, the way cheese on pizza should. Thier toppings are fresh and tasty. I always judge the toppings by how good the sausage is, and it is really good here. Also, they have tons of choices for toppings and many types of «pre-set“combinations on the menu to choose from. Their calzones are awesome and huge. The traditional was my favorite, but I have recently been hooked on the«Calzone Caliente». It sounded weird to me, so I didn’t try it for a long time. When I finally did… Man, is it good! It has spicy chorizo, pickled jalepenos, red onions, bell pepper — the flavors meld together so nicely. It’s the only thing I order now! Try it out! THESERVICE: Friendly, quick and helpful. The owner is there a lot of the time, and when he is not, the manager is there. They are both great and make sure everything goes well with your meal. They bring out stoneware plates and real utensils to your table just before the pizza comes out. Everytime I come in, they see me pull in and have our drink cups ready and waiting for us. They always remember what I like to order(see above calzone, hahaha). It’s nice to go to a restaurant and feel like they care about your meal being good. DELIVERY: We sometimes get their pizza delivered and it is always hot and within the time frame that they state(most of the time, a little faster). The delivery person is friendly and cheerful. I think this is location is better than the Stuft Pizza on Homestead, or any other Stuft Pizza location I have tried. In fact, there are only a few other pizza places in the south bay area that are as good or better.(My other faves are Pizza Chicago in Santa Clara, The Garrett in Campbell, Golden Mushroom in Santa Clara) Try this place — I think you will be impressed!

This place is so close to me… and to my dismay wasn’t any better than the Round Table Pizza next door. At $ 7.58 for a personal one topping pizza, I’ll pass thanks. I’m not an advocate for Round Table, but since we’re talking extremely AVERAGE pizza, I happen to know that they have a lunch special which includes a drink AND a personal pizza for $ 5. So take that Stuft Pizza!
