The massage was great, but I was very disappointed with the customer service. It was my first time so I asked the lady at the front desk multiple questions and most of her answers were, «I don’t know». While getting the massage my masseuse sneezed twice without washing her hands. The masseuse next to her was smacking his gum the entire time.
I’m all for tipping, but in this case i decided not to because of the service. When I was leaving the lady at the front desk chased me out of the store telling me I need to leave a tip. I was shocked that she had the nerve to do that, so I left a small tip.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, there are many more places in this area you can go to for a cheaper price and better service.

Went in for a Hot Stone Massage.
The masseuse’s name is Ana. Man let me tell you, I’ve had hot stone massages before in a couple of different states and this one is BY FAR the best one I’ve had.
She was professional, friendly and knew what to do to fix my broken body. She was very receptive to feedback and customized her techniques to adapt to me.
I found my new spot and my new masseuse. Highly recommended.

I came here a few times before the name change, but my recent visit was truly disappointing. I felt slightly concerned when I learned over the phone that there was a management change, but I thought I’d give it a shot since maybe the therapists were still the same. Unfortunately, I didn’t recognize the names of the therapists, so I just picked one of the female names when given the list of available therapists on that day.
My appointment was at 5PM, and I arrived at 4:55PM. I was soon led into the room and had my feet soaked in warm water. The receptionist told me I’d need to wait for ~10 minutes, so I tried to kill time by playing on my phone. However, 20 minutes later, my therapist still did not show up, and I started to feel annoyed that my feet were soaked in water for so long. Finally, at 5:25, my therapists arrived and started the massage. She didn’t talk to me at all about why she was late and didn’t ask me about the pressure I wanted or any preferences for the massage. It was fine since I was generally don’t like to chat too much during a massage, but I did that the service quality was pretty weak.
Honestly, this massage was not the worst I had gotten, but it was not impressive either. I overheard another massage therapist telling my therapist that she shouldn’t have been late since she could have gotten a customer complaint, but she didn’t seem to care when she received that comment. She did a full-​hour massage so that I ended up finishing at 6:25 instead of 6pm as planned. As I was checking out at the receptionist, I still didn’t get any explanation about why the massage ran late so I had to ask whether it was generally how it was or whether there was some kind of accident on that day. Then my therapist told the receptionist that I was not really looking for her in the first place since I came before she joined. I had no clue how that was relevant for my complaint, and I felt like she was suggesting that I could have just gone with another therapist instead. But the option was never offered to me! I just waited in the dark with my feet in the water when no one came over to let me know what was going on. The receptionist did apologize and say that their previous client ran late by 15 minutes or so, but I felt like they already lost all credibility at that point as a services provider.
I don’t think I’d be able to trust the level of service here, and I’m not sure if it would get better as time goes by. For now, I don’t think I’d pay them a visit anytime soon.

Worst message. Went in for a couples massage with hot rocks and i asked for a female masseuse beforehand on the phone while making an appointment when my boyfriend and i went in the receptionist confirmed our request before going into the room. We got Emily and Tomy (?). when my boyfriend and i were ready, a man was about massage me, i became confused «oh I’m sorry, i asked for a female» so they switch and the Emily tells tomy «what a bitch.» In Chinese. Excuse me? my fucking boyfriend is Chinese, i might not understand what she said but he clearly did. Keep remarks like that to yourself. I had told them 2 times i requested a women and then she had the nerve to call me a «bitch»? So now lets get to the massage, emily went way to soft on my body and i would ask her to put more pressure she would but moments later it seemed like she would forget and go soft again. Emily and tomy whispered and giggle way to much to each other and sometimes they would talk to each other not even whispering anymore. And when emily put the rocks on my back she kept asking «are you ok? Is it very hot?» EVERY SINGLE SECOND. I got so annoyed to the point where i answered her in a dry voice «no, its fine.» If its hot to the point were it cant be handle people will let you know. Please stop asking so much. My boyfriend and i both agreed that we were not able to relax with their unprofessional service. Also for emily didn’t work on my body evenly for the 75 min i had she used most of the time working on my shoulder. Its fine and all that she was helping me with my shoulder but i would have preferred she paid more attention to the rest of my body, because when the time was getting close to being done i felt that she was trying to hurry up and finish everything else. Not a good experience.

Very good hour long Swedish message. Loved it & will absolutely be back after my next hockey game or motocross race.

Disappointed with my foot massage. The masseuse is not skilled and needs to be more friendly and treat the client with gentleness and respect. We go to your spa to relax and be treated with kindness and not like some piece of meat that can just be butchered.

I’m no massage expert but all I know is that I’m leaving here feeling like an invertebrate. David was my massage dude-​I recommend him if you like medium pressure massage.

I LOVE this place!!! I try to pace myself and only come once a fortnight but the truth is I often come once a week, I just love it that much!
I’ve only ever had the foot reflexology massage which is amazing for $ 20 and is basically a full body massage anyway.
I find the place quiet, dark and soothing, subtle music plays, the masseuse’s know what they’re doing and it’s always just a pleasant relaxing experience.
One time, the best massage I’ve EVER had ANYWHERE was with a masseuse called Jason!
I think they have new owners now tho, so fingers crossed, they keep up the wonderful service I’ve always enjoyed!

I was so bummed after leaving this place. The lady I had was Lisa and she was so rude from start to finish. I went in to get the hot stone massage for $ 50 and was so very displeased at the service I received. The bed I was on squeaked the whole time & it was very hard to relax hearing all that noise. She was very loud with the hot stones– she even managed to hit my hair clip a few times. She seemed rushed and did not my make it a pleasant experience for me. The person at the front desk was very pleasant and nice. I don’t know what the deal was with Lisa that day but I am definitely going to call and request a refund.

Called first to see if they were busy and if they except walk in. They said come on in. $ 40.00 and 1 hour late. I feel really relaxed.

Angel Massage Spa is fine. I’ve had reflexology and massage here and elsewhere and it’s pretty standard.. . the place is clean and therapists there are as good (and not) as anywhere else. You find someone you connect with or don’t.. . this place could be special, but it’s not.
If you like these services, this place is as good as any.

I’ve been coming to this place for about a year now. My go to person was Mei, but she has now left. I wonder why cause she’s great! I’ve tried Lisa, Sharon, and others but it wasn’t the same.
Today I decided to book a 9pm appointment with Sharon but when I got there around 8:40pm the receptionist said she’s booked til 9:30pm. Weird cause online she’s wide open. She suggested Kevin, which I hesitated, but I said ok. I noticed with my time here that guy masseuse are not as great… I don’t know why. Kevin was ok, didn’t do the full body that I’m used to (didn’t do arms and hand and barely did the full back for the Swedish massage. He focused on some problem areas, but I wish he did a «full» body.
After so many tries I wonder if it’s time for me to find a new massage place. Too bad Mei left cause she was my personal best.

The store manager contacted me shortly after she found my review. I am impressed by her prompt reply and her recognizing. She also help me reschedule with masseuse. I am gonna give them another try and see how it goes.

I experienced a horrible deep tissue massage here last Friday night. I did book over the phone about an hour before the massage, which was great. But I wonder if this massage therapist (her name was Lisa Z.) was mad that I made her stay later than she wanted to on a Fri night. She went at my back like she was massaging her ex-​boyfriend. I tightened up, squirmed, jumped, moved away. But she never let off. I even said that hurts, but she still went at my body like «you deserve this pain, b*!» I have never felt so much rage through someone’s hands before. I came out feeling totally abused. And to boot, this went on for 90 mins! In retrospect, I shouldn’t even have tipped anything.
My body was definitely red, and my bruise on my leg became even bigger. She was totally unaware of what she was doing, insensitive to her client’s tolerance and pain level (didn’t even ask if pressure is okay… maybe she asked me once in the beginning. When I said okay doesn’t mean you can go harder!).
This lady needs more training and possibly anger management course. I’ve patronized many massage therapists, and this is one of the worst. I told the cashier that I was in a lot of pain. It was $ 60+tip wasted.

I’ve been suffering with piriformis syndrome for a while, and I’ve been trying an assortment of remedies, including massage. I tried Angel’s specialist to see if it would make any difference. He definitely understood where the pain was that I was experiencing, and twisted/​pulled/​popped/​rubbed/​stabbed everywhere that needed to be.
While it didn’t really help me over any kind of extended term, I felt a bit better afterwards, albeit pretty sore for a day or two. I may return here for the relaxing massage just to enjoy it because of the nice ambiance and fair prices. The staff is really sweet, and the owner will do whatever it takes to make sure you are satisfied with your experience.

i get massages occasionally when i am stressed out. Was referred here by a friend who said they give the best swedish/​foot massages and i wasn’t disappointed. The 75 min Hot stone swedish massage makes you feel really relaxed and eases all the knots formed sitting in front of your computer all week.
If you are in the software industry in the bay area and are stressed out. I’d definitely recommend a visit to Angel Spa for the Hot Stone massage to get the stiffness in your neck and back down.
P.S: Check with the lady on the front desk for special discounts.

Made a reservation for a foot massage the other day 20 minute prior to arrival and they were able to accommodate! The receptionist at the door was very friendly and led me into the communal foot massage room with 4 leather chairs.
Foot massage started off with a warm foot bath while the masseuse did a thorough scalp, shoulder, arm, and hand massage. The masseuse used an eye cover and then wore gloves for the foot massage.
The actual foot massage was decent. The next part of the massage was a thorough fully clothed back massage. The masseuse used a lot of finger pressure which was very comfortable.
The ambiance was relaxing with soothing music in the background.
They accept credit cards with no surcharges and also have a Buy 10 Foot Massages for $ 170 program.

What a great massage!
Let say first, the place is not a Spa, so dont expect the Spa experience/​atmosphere. However, the massage was of very high quality! I got a one hour swedish and was probably one of the best I have ever had, and I have visited many spa’s and massage clinics.
I dont give it 5 stars because the actual facility/​space needs work. Maybe better decoration, definitely better layout/​décor/​linens in the massage rooms. Not that the linens where dirty, just that they can do much better in the selection.
Will definitely be back. Great massage!

By far the best massage I’ve ever had! My masseuse was Sharon and I received a Swedish massage for an hour. She worked all of my pressure points and cracked bones I didn’t know could be cracked :/​lol The receptionist was very knowledgable!!! She’s very kind! The establishment is CLEAN and serene! This is my new «go to» place!
Highly recommend this hidden gem :)
