The stromboli looks mysteriously like a calzone, but it is delicious. The service is very friendly and upbeat. My friends and I had a great time, and we would definitely recommend this place to anybody. Unless you’re a vegan. We eat meat. And cheese. Delicious.

I love this place. Pretty much the only place to get a good and proper Cheesesteak, without driving to DTLA. I stop by whenever I’m on this side of town, and it’s well worth the drive. Their attention to detail in making their own bread really shows in the delicious quality of their subs. Tried their pizza for the first time the other night, and OMG, that same attention to detail in their bread really makes the difference in their pizza crust too! The sauce was just about perfect with terrific flavor, minus the 4lbs of salt you get with most pizza places. The cheese was, of course, off the hook! The crust was just right, with the perfect thickness and crisp without being over done. Reminds me of the old Del Cor pizza in Venice. I wish I could give a more detailed review of the rest of the menu, but all I seem to want when I go in is a Cheesesteak(ok, the pizza now too!) You can’t go wrong with eating here, and the prices are great too. A quality small business that still does business the old fashioned way with great customer service. If you ever have a problem just ask them, and they will go above and beyond to make it right, as they’ve done me right every time.

Ooey Gooey Philly Cheesesteak!!! What! What! First time getting grub here and now I see why my friends love this place. Philly cheesesteaks done right!!! Steak, onions, peppers and wiz!!! I haven’t had a good philly in a while and this just satisfied my cheesesteak cravings. It’s clean and cool inside(a/c is running), they have lots of options other than cheesesteaks, hoagies, salads, pizza(ny style) and I’m sure I’m missing a lot but they do have a variety to choose from. I can’t wait to go back! The guys that work there are really nice! Reminds me of a place I used to eat at when I was in high school. Roughly about $ 8 for about a footlong with everything in it.(I forgot to take pictures) Tip: try the downtown philly fries if you have room in your tummy! Happy Eating!

Went for lunch after getting a recommendation from a friend. Cheese steak with grilled onions, green pepper and mushrooms was really good… hottest restaurant food I’ve ever had. My friend said the turkey club was the best he’s ever had… large slice of bread toasted just right — crispy lettuce — nicely cooked bacon and good turkey. He liked the added touch of a few pickles. Fries were good — nothing special — could have been hotter. Would like to try the pizza something. The fellow who helped us was very friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back again.

Good cheesesteaks overall. I would normally rate them much higher but I was turned off by the dirty old Heinz ketchup bottles that they refill with a different brand of ketchup. These bottles are dated 2014.

Really enjoy the philly cheesesteak with grilled onions and peppers. The staff is always super nice when we eat there. They also deliver which is a huge plus! Fries are nothing special, but aren’t bad either.

I looked at the reviews on Unilocal and I figured four stars«must be pretty good» I ordered a Philly cheese steak and a bacon cheeseburger to go. They were both of the worst quality I have ever had. The hamburger meat very low-grade poor quality and just taste bad. the Philly cheesesteak was soggy like a two day old tuna sandwich . I agree we all get what we pay for, but When I pay just under nine dollars for a sandwich no drink or fries included, I expected something appropriate to the price. It isn’t often that I have a really bad meal but this was definitely one. Employees were great and the dining area was clean. hopefully they will take more pride in the quality of their food.

Gave them yet another shot, ordered another $ 16 cheesesteak combo, and received another messed-up order. Again, wrong cheese. At least they admitted their mistake this time. Unfortunately, to make it up to me, they doubled the amount of cheese on the re-do and served it with burnt onion rings. I think I’m done here.

This Downtown Philly shop by far has the best Philly Cheese steak sandwiches in California. Everything comes from back east. I am sorry to say but most people if they have not lived back East you really do not know what a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich really is all about and at this restaurant the sandwich is really from back east. These owners know what they are cooking, even the pizza is better than Papa John’s and Domino’s and Pizza Hut, Little Cesar’s. Great place and atmosphere for the entire family.

Great Philly Cheese Steak! The roll was soft, the meat was tasty, and the Philly fries were a perfect side order to the already amazing sandwich. The customer service from Cesar is outstanding! Can’t wait to go back and try additional items off the menu!

Everything there is good honestly. The only problem was when I went to get gold peak tea and all four of the option just dispensed water.

I’m sure this place is better than your average Santa Clarita sandwich shop, but it doesn’t beat Philly’s Best. I had the basic Steak sandwich w/fries. Unfortunately, the sandwich meat seemed almost ‘ground’ up and a wee-bit soggy. In their defense, I DID get the food to go, which I know brings down the overall experience. The meat was flavorless. The fries were average, typical frozen bag restaurant fries. I would give this place a 1 star for overall food taste and quality but the staff is really friendly and I think they’re doing a great job, and the restaurant is incredibly clean. I really wanted to like this place because Philly’s are my favorite and this place is so close to my house — but no cigar.

I have to say… this has probably been the best Philly Cheesesteak I have ever tasted! If you are looking for the real thing I highly recommend this place hands down best in town! I myself had the Philly Cheesesteak, not only was the meat and cheese good there was something about the bread that just biting into it you knew you were getting the best quality, so I didn’t mind the price My daughter had the Deluxe Hamburger and for a 6yr old she had one heck of a meal! Not only did she love it I couldn’t help it and had to have a couple of bites myself because it looked so good and it was just as good as it looked! Meat was cooked to perfection and all the trimmings were fresh and the bread was more like a dinner roll(soft and looked freshly baked) I definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food! I will definitely return and this time bring my husband and Dad along or why not the whole FAMILY!

We order food from this place ALLTHETIME! The food is fantastic, & I love that they deliver. Super convenient! I always get the Philly Cheesesteak w/Mushrooms & cheese wiz, & add peppers & jalepeno. I like to eat mine dipped in a little bit of their ranch(they have fantastic ranch!), and OMG is it good! Probably the best cheesesteak sub I’ve ever had! My boyfriend always gets the Philly Cheesesteak w/Mushrooms, mozzarella & peppers(he’s a wussy w/the jalepenos, but I LOVE the heat!). I have to admit, his way is delish too! The Fries & Mozzarella Sticks are also yummy. A couple things to stay away from: 1. Hot Wings — the time we ordered them, they had great flavor, but were soggy & dry(they weren’t crispy on the outside, & the meat was dry on the inside), 2. Downtown Philly Fries(they come topped w/bacon, ranch dressing & mozzarella) — they sounded great, but they were a little too much for me — really rich! I’d much rather have some good ol’ fashioned chili cheese fries. The phillys are so good that they outweigh the not-so-great wings and the«too rich» fries! 5⁄5 Downtown Philly!!! I DEFINTELYRECOMMEND! Enjoy! :)

This place is fantastic and if you love sandwiches in the northeast then you owe it to yourself to come here. The Italian with Cheese Hoagie is hands down the best sub I have ever had in California. But I think it holds its own with the sandwiches I’ve had in Philly and New Jersey, too. The thing is just huge with generous meat portions but the blend of toppings and dressing is just perfection. They serve a great Philly Steak as well and the onion rings are killer! The one thing that does remind me I’m not in Philly is that the service is great, but hey you can’t have everything.

I ordered the mushroom steak with grilled onions. The meat, cheese, mushrooms and onions all meshed perfectly inside the amoroso roll. It wasn’t too greasy, nor too dry. I added some sriracha for some kick and my tastebuds were happy. One of the better cheese steaks I’ve had.
