My friend and I went there for dinner last night since we were in the area but unfortunately we were very unhappy with the service(we usually go to AYCEGOGI in Van Nuys). The waiters don’t look happy at all, they seemed to be super serious and stuck up! Every time we asked for something they seem do be doing it with an attitude and not very friendly at all. Not to mention we had to ask for the side dishes, at Ayce Gogi you don’t need to ask they are brought to you without asking… isn’t that like an all you can eat thing… We also had to ask for our grill to be replaced because they never offered to change it. Terrible experience overall not going there anymore we are sticking to our spot AYCE Gogi because they are simply the best!

Came here for the first time for my Hubby’s surprise bday dinner. Everyone loved it. Its definitely for meat lovers. The only drawback was that if one person does all you can eat the the whole table has to, with a big party I thought that was extremely unfair. Probably wouldn’t have chose this location fro dinner with a big group if I knew that ahead of time. I would also like to advise to not spend a ton of time getting ready and washing your hair before coming here you will have to shower and scrub down when you get home cuz you will SMELL so bad. My hubby and his buddy’s will prob be back but I will most likely pass.

I have been here a handful of times and when I leave I always feel a little low because the energy of the place sucks. The people who work here act as though they are doing you a favor and you end up feeling like you overpaid for food that was served by a bunch of jerks, that you had to cook yourself. This last visit topped the cake however, because we arrived a half hour before the end of happy hour to be told that the wait was 15 minutes. They sat us 50 minutes later and when we went to order happy hour they said it was too late. What was comical was that the lady who took our name and told us the wait was 15 minutes ended up to be the server that said it was too late to order. We asked to speak to the manager and he came over and basically acted like the most unprofessional turd one could ever encounter. My sister and I have worked in the restaurant business for many years and we have frequented many restaurants and if you arrived before the end of happy hour they would always honor it because it is the fair and ethical thing to do. We ended up leaving and went to a local Thai restaurant up the road and the service and atmosphere was so much more pleasant and enjoyable. If I could give them a zero I would because that is the amount of money they will be getting from me from now on!

Came in after visiting Six Flags on a Thursday night. Food is delicious, staff are helpful and attentive, the restaurant is nice and clean, and they give you frozen yogurt at the end of your meal! Will come here again since we don’t have any Korean BBQ places in Palm Springs.

Gogi house could only be defined as religiously intolerant in my eyes. A large party of my friends(10 people) and I went there to eat for a friend’s birthday dinner. When I had told them that I could not eat anything as it was not kosher(and that I was not going to order), they refused to allow me to be there without paying 25 dollars for the all you can eat special. The manager gave his BS excuse about not wanting to watch out for me taking food from others. Look Gogi house, you can’t refuse to accommodate people with religious needs because you don’t want to feel like you have to baby sit them during the meal. It’s that kind of money-grubbing policy that keeps people with different needs from coming. I will never go back ever!

Just went out of my way to come here for Korean BBQ with a party of 9 to be turned away and told that the kitchen closes at 10 but the restaurant closes at 10:30. If you’re not conducting business after 10 your restaurant is closed. Don’t mislead potential customers and make them waste their time or their gas. Thanks for caring about your customers.

Just moved to the neighborhood and was craving some Korean food. Stopped by and enjoyed the lunch. They don’t used msg and make their own kimchi which is good. After asking manager George on the allergy concerns for our 2 daughters anaphylactic to peanuts, soy, dairy and gluten intolerance. He came up with few items they can safely eat. Checked ingredients and double checked the order. We are so excited to find a good Korean restaurant that is allergy friendly. Thank you.

Gogi house is probably my favorite kbbq. They have a great selection of meats, but my favorite thing about this place compared to other kbbq places is the side selections. The beef fried rice is soo good! The shumai and mice tempura is also great. As far as the meat goes, everything I’ve tried has been pretty tense and flavorful, but I’ve had better quality meat at the places. Another thing I love about Gogi house is that they end the meal by giving you frozen yogurt. I don’t know what it is about their frozen yoghurt, but I love it! The downside is that they are super stingy about it the yogurt, and only give one per person. I did find out from my last visit that you can purchase a bowel for about $ 4. The only other complaint I have is that the last time I came, I was with a large group(13 people). They ended up seating us at 2 different tables, which was fine. When it came time for the bill, they put everything on 1 check. I asked if they could split the check between the 2 tables since we were seated apart, and also because they only allow 4 credit cards per check. I was told that they got a new system and they were unable to split the bill once it was entered. While I am no expert in restaurant POS systems, I find it hard to believe that a new system would not let them split a check, especially in this day and age. I also don’t think that my request was unreasonable, since I only asked for it to be split between 2 tables. Anyways, if you come with a big party, make sure you ask to have your check split early!

Do not go here!!! This place has the worst service ever!!! Warning, Do not go here if you have children. My wife and son sat down and waited 15 minutes before anybody came to take a order. When we placed it my wife and I ordered a all you can eat and we tried to order our young child a plate and the server refused to serve him anything but a all you can eat and said if we don’t like it we can leave. Wow. We will never go back! Very disappointing for a restaurant with mediocre food.

I like this kbbq joint… even if it’s all the way in SCV. It takes a lot for me to make it out to this area but I have many high school friends who have since moved their families there and we cant always have them drive out to LA for all our get-togethers. I’m glad they suggested this place because it was a good time with good friends and good food. Gogi house is located in a big sized strip mall along Bouquet Canyon so there should be plenty of parking. The only drawback with our experience was the wait. We waited about an hour. We had a big party of 18 and when we tried to call a few days before to book their one big table, they said they didnt take reservations. What?! Thought that was odd. If you have a big party, guaranteed to show, reservations have to come in play. It’s only right. That was the only negative the whole night. The food was good. I liked that ban chan they give out. The salad was good. The pickled daikon was great. Always my favorite. The shallow bowl they give you for dipping is huge. I love that! It’s how all kbbq joints should have it. Ha! The bulgogi was good and had a nice marinade to it. The brisket was great. We kept that coming. It was pretty much brisket and bulgogi all night for us for the most part. One thing that Gogi House has as a part of their AYCE options are appetizer choices. We had some mixed tempura and gyoza. That was good. One of my friends who is a regular there also had a sirloin steak at the end of his meal. I thought that was a nice way to cap off a dinner. Rice and rice paper are included. Service was good. They were on top of things. It probably didnt hurt that some of our friends are regulars there… Dont forget the small paper cup of yogurt at the end of the meal as your palate cleanser. It tastes good! And it always leaves you wanting more… It’s such a tiny cup. What a tease! Ha! I will for sure be back at Gogi House the next time we have a get together in the area. I recommend it. It’s not the biggest KBBQ joint but it does the job. Check them out.

I recently was turned onto Korean BBQ by a friend and recommended Gen Korean BBQ with a new location in Northridge which I think is amazing. Not wanting to take the drive to Northridge I decided to try Gogi house discovered on good olé’ Unilocal. My only comparison is Gen Korean so my review is based on that. I think the prices at Gogi are way to expensive at Gogi. Gen Korean lunch is $ 14.99 and dinner $ 19.99 vs. lunch $ 19.95 and $ 24.95 at Gogi, Gogi website states $ 17.95 /lunch $ 21.95 diner this is incorrect. Plus Gen Korean has numerous seafood options, there are none at Gogi and Gen Korean they say you can stay for two hours, but they pretty much don’t kick you out. I think the meat at Gogi is good and the portions are plentiful, they do a great job keeping your drink full and the service is top notch, additionally they keep their grills really clean and swap them often. My other Gogi complaint is everyone at the table MUST do AYCE, I had recently gone with my wife who doesn’t really eat meat, I was all excited and ready for my meat feast, when we were told it was both AYCE or order ala carte which sucked as it’s twice as expensive, so it was really their loss, we had two small happy hour dishes and were out of there less than $ 20 with tip. To sum it up, yes I recommend this place if you don’t have the desire to drive to Northridge for a better option. There are small things they could do to improve this and make it immensely better. My guess is they won’t be around much longer, get it while you can!

5 stars definitely!!! My family and I go here as often as we can, for almost two years now. Service is great, the staff is friendly and attentive, and they already know our order since we come all the time! And for $ 25 they have unlimited meats and all their sides are great and also unlimited !!! I especially love their fried rice and fresh tempura veggies. my boyfriend LOVES their spicy Ramen… Oh and for those who love veggies, they will give you a side to cook with the meats, I always order onions and zucchini! So good to pair with meats when I’m trying to lay off the rice !! Definitely a much try if you haven’t already. gets busy though. I suggest going for lunch ! $ 20AYCE11am-2pm and it’s empty !!!

Went in there with my two sons one 17 and one 8, the place was pretty crowded which is usually a good thing, so we were excitedto try it out. The manager or owner at the front told us it would be about a 39 minute wait which was fine with me, so we put our name in, and after 45 minuets we checked in and asked where we sit in line? He told me there were y people in line ahead of me which is funny because we saw others get seated that came in a long time after we did, but once again I was cool as theyou were crowded. After patiently waiting now an hour and 15 minutes I told him to take out name off the list as I had an 8 year old with me that was getting tired and anxious. The shocking part was the was no apologies or compassion just a sarcastic answer of what am I supposed to do kick people out? If this guy own’s the joint that is pretty impressiveor the food must be something else that yu can be rude and arrogant and still keep the place filled. Now i probably wouldn’t have minded if he gave me at least a more accurate wait time like all other restaurants do. You are blessed but I will never be back. Sincerely one of the 4 groups of people I saw walk out.

Don’t expect much at all. I have lowered my expectations for food considerably while dining out in Valencia or Santa Clarita. Finding good food has proven to be difficult for me in Valencia and Santa Clarita. I had a Korean food craving for lunch, so I was game to try another Korean restaurant in SCV. I don’t think you can find great Korean food in the Santa Clarita Valley after tasting the Korean food at Tofu House(with a high Unilocal rating), so I didn’t really expect much here. I ordered the bulgogi«bento box» for lunch. It had compartments of bulgogi, white rice, salad, tempura, and kimchi. I had a tasting of the banchan, and it was probably my least favorite I’ve tasted ever. It’s not served in little traditional containers you’ll find at all Korean restaurants, but on a medium sized plate portioned out. Service was attentive. I was checked up on often during my meal. What’s nice is at the end of your meal, they bring you a small cup of frozen yogurt on the house. If you live or work in the Valencia or Santa Clarita area, it’s a decent option to satisfy the Korean food craving. It doesn’t feel authentic and it was strange eating tempura at a «Korean» restaurant without any Korean servers. They have AYCE Korean barbecue if you don’t want to drive out to Koreatown, SFV, or SGV.

Too bad Adam Richman stopped doing Man vs Food… — — — — — — — — — He would have savored the deliciousness that comes with the $ 405-pound challenge! So my buddy has been raving about this joint for a while. You should come out to the SCV to check it out, he would say. It’s a bit of a trek, but after hearing about this place several times, I decided to make the drive. Repeat after me: THIS. PLACE. IS. AWESOME! (Also repeat after me: don’t eat for 2 days before and after your trip!) That they have delicious AYCE meats at reasonable prices is a given. The best thing about this place, that pushed it into the 5-star stratosphere, was the appetizers and dishes which were as good, if not better, than the meat. We ordered — and devoured — their shrimp tempura, stone pot bibimbap, Shiu mai. There were so many other options to choose from, including spicy beef soup, and fried rice with your choice of beef, kimchi, shrimp. Equally excellent were the things they did not advertise — for example, they have kimchi-marinated pork belly, pork steak(a tender, garlicky cut of pork tenderloin), and the fact that you can ask the server for some of the spicy sweet red sauce for your own dipping pleasure! Even the yogurt palate cleanser at the end was the bomb. So what if my shirt smells like BBQ for days to come? This place is definitely worth the trip. I’m willing to say this place is even BETTER than Gen BBQ house. It’s that good. But now, it’s time to not eat for 2 days…

My actual rating: 3.5 What am I doing all the way out here for KBBQ when I live closer to Korea town? Well, my mom & little brother live aaaalll the way over in Rosamond and asked to meet«half way». Their first request to us meeting up was that we eat Korean food(antelope valley has a serious lack of all Asian cuisines). Second request was somewhere with food that my mom’s boyfriend could eat, so looks like no intestines or cow tongue, haha. First thing I did was check Unilocal for a Korean restaurant that would suit everyone’s cravings. Korean bbq is relatively safe for everyone and I happened to come across Gogi House. [ Location ] My first complaint: Gogi House is either listed incorrectly or it’s just super hard to locate. I spent 20 minutes driving in a half mile radius back and forth trying to find it. So let me help you out: ***GOGIHOUSE is in the ROSS plaza, next to RADIOSHACK!!*** [ Food ] My second complaint isn’t really a complaint but more of a suggestion really: get better/more banchan(side dishes). The kimchi was super salty! And where’s the stone pot egg and potato/apple salad? The food was ok. My dumpling soup has a decent flavour and a generous portion of dumplings. My mom and her boyfriend were happy with their spicy pork and teriyaki chicken combos. But the shrimp fried rice was lacking in flavour and was barely touched. The pancake appetizer was my favourite part of the meal. Yummy flavour and the texture was good: a little crispy on the edges and soft in the center. [ Service ] The entire staff were wonderful! Very attentive and friendly. Our glasses were never empty and we were very well taken care of. I love how they were intent on making sure we were satisfied every bite of the meal. They’re the main reason I would give Gogi House more than 3 stars. At the end of your meal they offer you complimentary frozen yogurt. Get it! It’s a yummy and refreshing way to end. :) With this probably being 1 of very few Korean spots in Santa Clarita, I say it’s pretty good and worth trying.
