Golden Hands Therapeutic Massage

OMG! Just had a prenatal massage with Judy. It was amazing. She was very good and really worked on my problem spots. Not feeling back and neck pain. I’m committed to go every week and post delivery. Great service!!!

Recently came to this place for my first and I must say it was quite the experience…
If your looking for a high end spa this definitely is not the place… I was a little uncomfortable with the fact that they had the Soiled linen bins in the women’s restrooms, which were also quite dirty… And also, the temperature in there was freezing… Which leads me to why I’m leaving this a five star… TINA WAS AMAZING!!! Hands down best massage I’ve ever had! She has magical hands! I’m definitely going back to her

I was a walk in today at Golden Hands. Been making my way around local massage places in the SCV. Even the foot massage places where they are dark and you don’t take clothes off. So, GH on a Sunday afternoon. Not quite unfriendly, but answered a few questions and off we went for my 1 hr massage. I didn’t catch her name but I’m guessing she could be one of the owners? My critique would be that initially and periodically she goes fast and robotic but had wonderful moments in there of great massage. And the massage table was oddly the most comfortable table I’ve ever been on. The level of head to table was magic and comfortable. Don’t know if I’ll go back but in a pinch I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

This place is a bit pricey compared to DTLA places, but I do enjoy coming here. The place is clean with lots of individual rooms and a shower. My boyfriend has major issues with his shoulder and elbow due to two work injuries and the masseuse was able to help him out a lot — at least enough for that one visit. I have major tightness in my neck and shoulders and I felt so relieved. I brought my mom, aunt, and grandma here and they just keep going there! I feel like every time I talk to them about their day, they went here. If you’re looking for a place that will give you Asian style massage AKA go really hard, this is the place.

I love this place. They are very kind, knowledgeable and have excellent prices. I go on a regular bases and tend to get in right away or that day.

My two daughters and myself came to golden massage for my daughters birthday. I booked our appointments for 11:15am for a 1 hour Swedish massage. We arrived at 11:00am, My daughter were called back first around 11:15 and then I was called back 5 min later. At 11:30 my therapist hasn’t come into the room yet. Then the therapist that took one of my daughters came back and told me mine was on her way. At 11:45am my therapist still hadn’t shown up. The therapist working on my daughter came in to start working on me and going back and forth between me and my daughter. I told her «no you can’t leave my daughter and work on both of us because mine is late, it’s her birthday today please go tend to her». At 11:55am when my therapist still hadn’t arrived, I got dressed and gave up. At 12:05pm the therapist showed up blaming it all on traffic on Soledad canyon road. Same road I had come down to get there and I made it just fine. She apologized for being late, but offered no discount or compensation for her 45 minutes of being late for our appointment. My one daughter that had the therapist that kept running back and forth between her and I said it was the worse massage she got because the therapist kept leaving and seemed too busy to give her a massage, that it was hard for her to relax and try to enjoy the massage. All she wanted was for it to be over so this therapist could stop being such an interruption by leaving. Needless to say this was THE MOST awful place and service we have ever received from a massage therapy place. If you are looking to get a good massage where the therapist will cater to you and want to serve you. Don’t go here! So upset, they made didn’t care to keep our business. If they only would have offered any discount to my therapist being late, I would have come back and gave them one more chance. If you’re reading this review. Drive pass this place find something else.

I’ve been going here for years and won’t go anywhere else! I referred friends and family who have become request clients, as well. Tina or Nit usually do my massages, but anyone there provides great service! Tina always tries to accommodate my last-​minute appointment requests. The facility is very clean and comfortable, and the price is so affordable, it can’t be beat!

This is hands down the best place that I have EVER had a massage. I have had massages in med spas, chiropractor practices, cruise ships, high end spas, yet Anna has been the best so far. I went in with a lot of pain and left with more mobility. Will definitely be back!

Awesome massage every time. Have used multiple times in the past few years. Highly recommend for you to treat yourself by stopping for an hour in your day. Staff very polite and respectful.

This spa is clean, well managed, and the vibe is positive. I am a fixture at this spa, and visit often, whether it be sore muscles, dire need of decompression after a stressful day at work or to receive an awesome facial. The atmosphere is relaxing, there are nice sofas to sit in the waiting room, private rooms and the bathrooms have showers. I would recommend Golden Hands Massage to anyone!

Love going here. Can call on the same day and get an appointment. My only complaint is that I wish the rooms were less noisy. I don’t like hearing outside noise during the massage. Never once have had a bad massage here. The price is great.

I love Thai Massage! It’s the best! I’ve been to Thailand and have had many traditional massages and Golden Hands Therapeutic Massage is an excellent place to get a Thai Massage. I felt fantastic after my Thai Massage. I love the fact that there is no oil involved, that’s one of the several reasons I prefer a Thai Massage over all the others. Not only do you get deep tissue but you also get a great stretch. I highly recommend this place!

After going to a less awesome massage place, I can confirm that this place deserves a five star rating. The language barrier is a little tough, but they ask you if anywhere hurts, and they are very thorough with their massages. The ambiance is wonderful, and the women must have magical powers, to massage so well for so long. I absolutely recommend this place to everybody!

The best massage I have ever had, I highly recommend them. They are nice people, you can’t beat the price or the results. You will feel rejuvenated and happy.

Went today for the first time and received a pregnancy massage. The location is not a high end fancy place but the facilities are very clean, modern, quiet, and comfortable. Both bathrooms have a shower built in should you need one, and there are several comfortable chairs in the small waiting area in the front. The prices of the massages are reasonable, (around $ 60 for an hour) and my masseuse, Gina, was fantastic. She applied perfect pressure, was sweet and easy going, and I left very relaxed and happy. I can personally recommend her. As for the front office staff I did not have any problems with them regarding scheduling, in fact they were very flexible despite my tardiness and as they are open until 8 pm, this is great for people who work or are super busy.
So if you are looking for a great massage at a good price in a clean relaxed space, without pretentious vibes or high pressure sales run from a massage farm, this is it. I now have a great local spot to get a nice massage.

I discovered Golden Hands a few years ago, after numerous attempts to find a good massage in the SCV. It is a reputable and professional business, and I have always enjoyed going there. Tina is an expert at her profession, and I have always left pain free and relaxed.
I recommend Golden Hands to anyone.

Awesome massage but I didn’t see happy ending on the menu!
It was beauty day with the wife, yea I know but sometimes I do what she wants! At the recommendation of a friend, and the 5* reviews we hit up Golden hands. It isn’t exactly a posh facility that’s for sure. But what they do have is some awesome massage therapists at a very reasonable price! Called kinda last minute and they got the both of us in for a deep tissue massage, separate rooms, and boy were they good. I’m pretty sure I passed out on the table. The wife had pretty much the same look of blissful agony when we met back up in the waiting room.
Definitely a place to check out if all you’re looking for is a good massage and not a day spa experience.
