Worst service , guys working there act like jerks when welcoming you in there restaurant

Today, the beef and chicken were spiced and salted just right. As in perfect. Service is excellent as usual. And the tomatoes were grilled soft and juicy. The best, and I’ve been there many times. Really, just the flavor of the spices and the salt today were so balanced. Today they used real butter too, as part of the salad bar. Perfection. I wish this would be the same as always.

Been here a few times. Great kabobs but unreliable when it comes to being open and honoring there own $ 5 off cards.
We wanted to order dinner for our family a couple Sunday’s ago and got pricing and was told they would be open till 9 by the manager. Called at 6:15 and got answering machine saying closed. Called the other Persia in Newhall and they honored the deliver to our home in Saugus but took almost 2 hours. The delivery driver was super nice and apologetic though and give us 2 $ 5 off coupons for for orders of $ 5 or more. A few weeks later we called to use those cards and asked if we ordered $ 40+ could we use both but we were told no.
So we called newhall and they were happy to do it.
I recommend the Newhall operation but not the one on Bouquet. The newhall staff is friendly and willing to make customers happy by meeting simple needs and keeping their word of being open.

Food is excellent. Local delivery also. Beats pizza when you don’t want to go out or cook.

Went on a Saturday night with some good friends, and we all had fun watching the dancer prance around the restaurant. We all got free drinks which was a plus.
Food was great, and it was reasonable with the price points considering that you get a shit ton of food for what you pay. Deserts were strange, but they were nice.
Service was on point. They were great in every way I like. They weren’t completely up your ass, yet they weren’t distant. Never had to ask for refills, silverware, or any other dinnerware necessities.
Few things I found very odd: the dancer wasn’t even Persian, nor was she even doing Persian dances. Maybe I’m strange, but I would figure that a Persian restaurant would have Persian dancers?
Also, I know that this place is big on the hookah lounge in the back, but the place was absolutely empty on a Saturday night. I just figure a place like this would be packed late night on a Saturday.
The night I went, it was suppose to be an «80s» night. So 80s inspired drinks and music were suppose to be dominant. The «DJ» was actually just someone who worked at the place, and she was eating before hand with a group. She played modern techno and trance music off a CD that was placed inside her Macbook. She was pretending to twist knobs on her soundboard. I’m a very observant woman, and I immediately knew she was faking it. Every 5^th song was an 80s-​going-​on-​90s hit. The music wasn’t bad at all, so it was rather enjoyable and extremely humorous at the same time. I just thought it was very odd! I also don’t think that have studio lights and lasers that mimic a rave is very 80s like also. LOL.
Bottom line: this place is a perfect place to go on a weekend night when you’re too lazy to go to a club, but still want to enjoy good music, have some good food, good drinks, and fun without «going all out». Bring some friends, have a drink or two, and enjoy yourselves with the fun atmosphere. Enjoy the hookah lounge if your into it aswell.
It’s weird, but it’s a good weird. Parking is a bitch though.

Wow. I’m normally not one to ever leave a bad review but this one is just needed.
I took my GF out to dinner here and it was literally the worst service I have ever experienced in the restaurant business.
CONS:
–We were never asked if we needed anything throughout our evening there.
–Food took over 1 hour to bring out.
–We ordered sides and they never brought them. (But it was still on our bill.)
–For the price of dinner I expect more out of this place. (pricey)
PROS:
–Food was good but it could’ve been because I was so hungry from waiting so long.
–That night they had a live band and the music was good.
(They need to dim the lighting a bit though)
Anyway. I will never go back to this place again.

Okay if you enjoy a good hummus you’ll want to check this place out! Plus the serving sizes are generous. I got a sweet stew called Fresenjan. You pour it over rice like you would an Indian Saag. The Fresenjan had delicious chicken, pomegranate, walnuts and other goodness. This is fairly sweet so you’ll probably want to pass on dessert. I washed it all down with a sour cherry fruit juice which was fantastic! The staff and the atmosphere felt authentic and date worthy. They even had some rockin electronic Persian tunes making it complete!

I was so excited to find a Persian restaurant here but what a disappointment. Our table was dirty, one of the plates was broken and the other one had an awful black stain in the borders so we use the salad plates and most of them were dirty. Food was OK, kebabs were good but not amazing, there’s not a big variety to choose from, my lemonade was really bad and the bread didn’t look fresh and service was really normal. I love Persian food but this place is not a reflex of this amazing cuisine.

My GF and I came here at the recommendation of a friend and it turned out to be good advice!
The restaurant was relaxing and perfectly suited for a couple’s night out, but I saw they had group seating for larger parties. Very nice ambiance.
We started with a light and refreshing Sabzi. It was really flavorful and I would definitely order it again.
I went for the tried and true Boneless Chicken Kabob since this was my first time here (don’t want to venture into other dishes if they don’t get THIS right!). I’ve learned to judge restaurants by their rice and Persia did not disappoint: really good. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor, which seems like that should be common, but it’s not.

My GF ordered the Ghormeh Sabzi and she really enjoyed it. If you’re into tomatoe-​based sauces and flavors on the tart side (pomegranate), then definitely give it a shot.
Anyway, it was a good dining experience and we will definitely come again! Glad to find another good restaurant in Santa Clarita. Definitely give them a try!

A very disappointing experience especially after reading reviews and hearing from other people about it. My boyfriend and I made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday night, which was not necessary. The place only had one table with a party of 6. My bf’s mom and brother ordered the shish kabob, my bf ordered the loobia polo, and I had the gheymeh badejman. The shish kabob meat was tough to cut through and the split peas in the gheymeh badejman were way undercooked. But worst of all was the saran wrap I found wrapped around the eggplant. I didn’t even realize what it was until after trying to slice the eggplant multiple times. When we finally got the waiter’s attention, he offered to bring out the proper dish without saran wrap. At that point it was too late to enjoy. I came with an empty stomach so I forced myself to eat it, but was not pleased because the split peas were still undercooked and seemed like they had just pulled the dish from the refrigerator and microwaved it.
After all that, the waiter removed the dish from the bill and honored the Unilocal deal I bought, which wasn’t even a great deal for the quality of the food that you get. I’ll continue to go to Grill Kabob for my Mediterranean fix.

So my daughter and I were home alone for the evening and wanted to try something new for dinner. We had been wanting to try the Persian Restaurant for some time, but hadn’t since it never sounded appealing to my wife. So this was the perfect opportunity!
There was plenty of easy access parking. The inside was decorated in a way that felt like old country meets modern. There were what appeared to be oil paintings on the walls, and yet very modern, pendant style light fixtures hanging above the tables.
We didn’t know what to order and told the waiter that. He recommended the kabob combination platter and said it would be enough food for the both of us. He also recommended the appetizer combination platter. On top of that I did remember that my Iranian friend had told me to order a drink called doogh.
The appetizer platter was simple. It consisted of a four-​section plate with hummus in one section, a combination of diced cucumber and tomato with chopped parsley in the second section, a mixture of yogurt and diced cucumber in the third section, and a cheesy potatoe salad in the fourth section. They also brought us a lot of pita bread slices to dip with. That was the best hummus I’ve ever had — hands down! The other things were good too, but that hummus was exceptional.
The doogh came out with the app. It looks like milk poured over ice cubes with pepper sprinkled on top. The waitress said it was mint, not pepper. The doogh has the consistency of milk, but tastes like greek yogurt. The doogh was good, but in small amounts. A whole glass was too much for me and my daughter.
Then they brought out the kabob platter. That was a lot (and I do mean A LOT) of food. There was roasted chicken, roasted ground chicken, roasted beef, and roasted ground beef, roasted onions, and roasted tomatoes. They even had fresh lime that had been quartered for us to squeeze over the top. In addition to all of that, they brought a BIG plate of saffron rice.
We ate maybe half of what was served, and just as we got to a point where we couldn’t eat anymore, the music got really loud. I thought they must not be aware that the volume was too high, but no — it was time for the belly dancer to dance for us.
If I’m being honest, it was a little awkward as I didn’t quite know if I should be watching her, or not. When I looked away from her, she danced her way over to our table and danced maybe 24 inches away from us. So I figured to not watch might be insulting. Amidst the mild awkward feeling, we were still very entertained. Then she danced over to what appeared to be a newly dating couple and danced maybe 12 inches away from them! It was hilarious as the guy tried hard to play it cool, and his date was laughing, but trying to contain and muffle it!
Overall I loved this place. The food is incredible, the décor felt warm and inviting, the belly dancer was fun, and the service was right on point. The meal ended up costing me $ 62 before tip, but if you consider that the leftovers we took home will feed my family of four for another meal, I guess $ 62 isn’t that bad.
That was a fun night out with my daughter.
I’ll go back there again.

Definitely one of the top 3 best restaurants in all of SCV. If you’re a local and have yet to try Persia, you are seriously missing out.
The food is so flavorful, fresh, and just downright amazing. I have never left disappointed. It is locally owned and the staff is incredibly friendly!
BEST thing about Persia is the $ 9.99 «all you can eat» lunch buffet. It was what initially drew me in, and I have been obsessed ever since!
Thankfully, they recently opened up another location closer to me in the Newhall area that also doubles as a hookah bar. Now I can conveniently get my Persia fix just down the street from home.
Everything about this place is great, dine here ASAP!

Would give this place a 0 if I could. We were so psyched to try this place, reading all of the positive reviews — it was my mom’s last night in the area, and coming from a place where there are no Persian restaurants, we were particularly stoked to have the opportunity to dine here as our final meal together before she left. But alas and alack, our expectations were seriously shattered.
On Saturday, August 30^th, I called ahead to ask what time their kitchen was closing, as we were going to be driving there from about a half hour away and I knew we might be cutting it close. Whoever answered the phone said they’d be closing the kitchen at 930pm, that evening. So then we arrived at about 905pm and asked for a table. They told us that their chef had already gone home for the night, and that they were not serving any more food. We told them we’d called and been told their kitchen would be open until 930pm, but they told us we must have called their other location. I checked my cellphone — wondering if this was all my mistake? — but sure enough, I had not called the wrong place.
With heavy hearts and empty stomachs, we walked out of the restaurant, and as we were leaving, another couple walked in and we watched them have the *exact same* experience. The staff were not very apologetic, they were more defensive and frankly didn’t seem to care that four potential customers with corroborating stories were all having the same issue. As were about to drive away, the host came and knocked on our car window and asked us if we’d like for him to cook us something. We politely declined. If he was able to cook something for us, why hadn’t he offered that to us in the first place?
So, so disappointed.

I had ate there before and remembered it being good but this time around I walked away very disappointed. For $ 12.00 I got two pieces of meat that were very dry and a plate of rice which was okay.

Excellent food and service! Their grilled meats are simply delicious and have a distinctively mild flavor that doesn’t overwhelm your palate with too much spices. It also gives me peace of mind knowing the meats they serve here are free of antibiotics and hormones and grilled without any oil, which I greatly appreciate! Their grilled vegetables, fresh salads, rice, hummus, and flat breads are scrumptious as well. Some of my favorite meats here are the barg, koobideh, and joojeh. Their Tabbouleh and fresh garden salads are definitely worth a try too.
The people who run this place care about their customers and offer great and friendly service! I frequent this place every time I head down to Los Angeles to visit my family in Santa Clarita.
Also, I would highly recommend their lunch buffet during the weekdays. It’s such an excellent value at $ 10! The ambience of this restaurant is cozy and elegantly middle-​eastern.

Came for New Years Eve dinner, and I was surprised that the place was empty. There was only one other table. We were greeted promptly at the door, and seated right away.
Appetizers (sorry my spelling will be off) — Kaske bademjan — roasted eggplant and garlic, goes great with their lavash bread. This was my absolute favorite. Doleh — served warm, very flavorful.
Dinner — Beef soltani — comes with grilled filet and lule, grilled ground beef. The were both packed with flavor and very reminiscent of my favorite Persian restaurant in Glendale, Raffi’s Place. Comes with a side of basmati rice. Cooked perfectly.

Barg kabob, koobideh kabob or get both, the soltani kabob. When I don’t feel like cooking for the family, I order here & my kids are jumping for joy they love it so much. Free delivery too! I love their saffron rice and the Dolmeh appetizers are great starters. Live music Thursday nights.
$ 9 all u can eat lunch buffets… how you like them apples?! Boom!

Well damn. I purchased the $ 20 for $ 30 Unilocal deal and went to Persia on 9÷9÷13 to check the place out.
Unfortunately, an elderly lady apparently crashed her car through the front of the restaurant back on ⁸⁄₃₀ and did a real number on the place. Even after a week and a half, the place is still closed. I hope they are able to reopen soon. As of last night, the windows are all boarded up.
Since I’m $ 20 in the hole, I’ll check back with Persia again soon.

We had an event catered for about 40 people and Persia came through like champs. The kabobs and the sides were enough to feed close to 60 people and there were enough leftovers for seconds and for people to take home. We ordered the ground beef kabobs and the chicken tender kabobs and when they arrived, they were perfect. Everything the brought was more than enough and not a single complaint from anyone there. We love this place and will always turn to them as our first choice for family gatherings or special events.
