I ordered take-out from here once and had our order made incorrectly(beef switched out for the lamb we ordered in two meals). I called to talk to a manager when I got home after I caught the mistake. Instead of letting me talk to a manager, the woman at the register who answered the phone gave the phone to the woman at the grill who proceeded to argue and get rude. Since I ordered a beef plate along with the two of lamb I could clearly see the mistake but this woman got aggressive so I hung up the call. She then called back just to continue her aggressive argument so I hung up again as a simple«just to let you know.» call turned into her unneeded shouting defense of her cooking process. Even after all of that, and the steak being decent, a couple of weeks later we ordered take-out again. This time, when my wife went to pick up the order, the woman from the grill started her aggressive agreement the minute my wife walked into the door; shouting which plate was which meat and how there is no way she could have been wrong about it. My wife(being a sweet natured lady) just agreed, paid, and got out of there quickly. When she got home, we discovered the to-go boxes mangled(as if someone was hacking away at them with a knife) and the food was thrown in each box in complete disarray. To top that off, the meat was burned beyond recognition. Not trusting this cook, how the management of this place allows her to operate, or the condition of the food in the mangled boxes, we threw the food out and went to another establishment. This place will never see any of our business again and I hope that others choose to avoid it as well. There are too many great eateries in Valencia to support such a bad business.

I don’t know what happened to the quality of food at this place but it’s taken a turn for the worse. The chicken is always over cooked and salty. The rice is too salty. The falafel is salty… The customer service at the register is severely lacking also. Used to be good food when it was at the Seco location. Now it’s nasty. No more sams flaming grill for us.

My first time going and my last! They forgot to put salad dressing and had a dry salad, They said they forgot it and sitting on top of the counter! The manager said I can pick it up but my food would be cold by time I went back and fourth and asked if I can get some kind credit, best he said was he can give me is 20% off my next order? really? The rice was blend nothing special about the chicken and the beef kabob was over salted! and up course the salad was dry! Waited 45 mins to pick up this! NEVERAGAIN!!!

Really love their lula kabob wraps here with that garlic sauce. Yum! Falafel is pretty decent as well. Service in store is friendly. My biggest complaint is I ordered delivery a few months back and it literally took more than twice as long as they stated. I called back several times as was told they were on their way, which I don’t think was the case given that my house is a mile away. My suggestion would be to give realistic delivery times and be honest about any mistakes. If you can’t deliver as promised, offer your customers a free treat or discount. Something to show you’re sorry. I didn’t ask for a discount, but I feel it should have been offered.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The staff does not care about you or the establishment. Non apologetic and terribly slow service. I ordered a sandwich and side of hummus with bread which took them over 35 minutes to put together when it was empty besides the lady and her daughter that came in after me by quite some time and were given their food at the same time. I hope this business goes under as soon as possible. My family and I will not be going back and will tell everyone I know to not eat at that sams.

Really good food. But you better call your order in a day ahead of time because it takes FOREVER to get your food. I never eat in as the place is always dirty too.

We have eaten at Sam’s Flaming Grill several times. We waited to post this review to see if our TWO emails to Sam’s Flaming Grill customer service would be answered, NORESPONSE… which rates their customer service as terrible just like the two over cooked chicken kabob dinners we brought home. The chicken was as hard as a golf ball because it was so over cooked. It was hard as a rock and all that could be tasted was the burnt meat!!! Every restaurant can have an off day, how they handle a complaint about such an event will determine if they will keep their customers… so we sent a friendly email to their corporate offices and received no response. We waited a week and sent another… still no response. There are many good places to eat in Valencia… STAYAWYFROMSAM“S FLAMINGGRILL unless you like burnt, tasteless food supported by NOCUSTOMERSERVICE.

This place has been fine in the past — great food, great portions… but the downside was the wait for the food. But tonight just totally rubbed me the wrong way. Had my 3 kids with me, tired and hungry and I ordered only 2 kids pita meals with fries. Well 20 minutes later I went up to the counter to ask how much longer it was going to be as my kids were starting to implode on me. The girl mumbled something and then I went up 5 minutes later to cancel my order and get my money back when she was packing it up. I get home and the fries were undercooked. Still cold and crunchy. Seriously? 25 minutes waiting for cold undercooked fries? I like this place but some things cannot be overlooked like waiting a half hour for food when yo have tired hungry kids melting down. I just can’t anymore.

I love this place. The food is always amazing. The amount of food is a great deal for what you pay. The service can be a bit slow at at times, so I usually just call in ahead.

I am no longer going to this restaurant as they are understaffed with teenagers that don’t know what they are doing. I placed a phone order and was told to pick it up in 30 minutes, when I arrived I gave them my name and they looked it up on the computer and then the employee disappeared into the back room, which was very strange. After waiting a while the other employee came and asked my name and checked the computer and she said they have my order but it they haven’t started it yet. She asked if I wanted to wait while they cook it. Since I didn’t feel like sitting around for a half hour I went elsewhere which is what you should do too.

I really like the beef/chicken lula from them. It is like the only time I get and crave for once in awhile.

I honestly have a love/hate relationship with this place. When I call ahead, my order is never ready when I arrive. When I do arrive, the employee who’s handling the cash is making my food-bare handed, not even washing their hands in between. Also, they say that I have to pay .50 for garlic sauce, when it has been free before. Doesn’t make sense. My only positive, is that the food is good. I guess that’s why I keep going back. Even though their customer service is not the best.

Food was good. Counter people were nice but it took 45 minutes to get take out! I should have called because 3 people whom called after I waited 20 minutes got their food before me! They gave freebies to a group that looked like regulars but no apology or a comp drink-I would have been happy with a cup for water!

The food is good which I rate at 3 ½ stars and the restaurant at 3 stars. I love the beef and chicken kabob plates. It’s cooked fresh to order so there is a wait which is sometimes longer than expected. The service was great yesterday and the staff friendly. The prices are fair for quantity of food.

This is my 3rd time ordering from this place and I have to say that I am in love with their chicken. Last night we ordered a family pack and everything tasted so good,‘so fresh. I called in while driving from work and when i got there, everything was ready. Staff were friendly, place looked clean. Most importantly, my kids loved it. Definitely adding this place to my weekly rotation.

Walked in with the family and we all sat down while we decided what we wanted to eat, we ordered and then all sat down and waited awhile and noticed she was bagging our stuff to go(we were planning on sitting there to eat) so one of us got up and told her that we were eating in and she replied with«oh well you should have told me» really rude. We never said we wanted it to go. So we just ended up eating it at home. Good was pretty good wasn’t amazing. Also pretty expensive.

This place is great. They are quick very nice and have good portion sizes. I have yet to have a bad experience. The rotisserie chicken is great with the rice and the hummus is pretty good too.

The employees are very friendly and helpful when ordering. I got the chicken shwarma sandwich and it was delicious! My husband got the plate, which comes with more food and we were both happy with our selections. The food takes a while to come out(15+ minutes) but it is FRESH and delicious when you get it. Call ahead if you’re in a hurry.

Tried this for my first time tonite I can’t say it was great but it was ok. The Beef Shawarma was pretty dry. I’m use to eating at Zankou Chicken and no comparison. The employees were great and friendly. Gonna try another plate next time and see a difference. The beef looked good but needs more moisture.

Showed up tonight at 5:50 pm with a party of 6 because Sams was sounding good. GUESSWHAT??? Cmon guess… you got it… NOCHICKEN… WTF…seriously … I think I’m done with this place …5:50 and no chicken, chicken pictures all over the menu but no chicken unless you want kabob. So, you can’t order a family pack, as I planned, you can’t order a whole chicken plate… nope…no chicken. My plan was to get 2 family packs and a kabob plate… No chicken, I’m out. Basically $ 60+ dollars just walked out of there store. We left. Did I mention no chicken… ugh…never again.

I always order the family deal here. It’s a whole rotisserie chicken, rice, salad, pita bread, and garlic sauce. It’s about $ 27 and if you call in ahead, you don’t have to wait the 15 minutes it takes to get the order put together. The chicken is really good and the rice & salad are always fresh & tasty. I’ve tried other items but the family deal is good for the price and makes for a great dinner when you don’t feel like cooking.

The sub 2 star reviews for this location surprise me. The few times I have been here, the customer service has always been good. Every employee I have encountered has at least tried to be nice. The food at most Sam’s locations has always been good, and this location is no different. Any place that gives me free garlic butter with my meal is automatically a 3 star minimum. I typically go with their beef schwarma plate, even though I’m still not sure how to spell it. They don’t offer brown rice; however, per some Internet research, the rice they do offer is somewhere between white and brown on the healthy/good for you scale. I don’t know how valid the sources were in my research, but I convinced myself to go with it… The prices are fair, parking is ample, and the interior is clean. I would personally suggest ignoring the low ratings and trying them out yourself. I plan to continue to return until I am convinced otherwise.

I am a true lover of good Mediterranean Cuisine. This place was absolutely awful. Food took forever to come out, and the food had a horrible taste. I spent $ 26.00 on a sandwich, plate of meat, and a side of humus. Over priced for what you get. The humus was the only thing edible. Don’t waste your money folks. Go to Skaffs Grill in North Hollywood.

I have been a customer of Sam’s for many years. I started with their Canton Country location when it opened and the food was fantastic. It was always good. We would go there at least once or twice a week. I have been unhappy with the food for sometime, however, always hoping things would improve. The quality and flavor of the rice changed for the worse a long time ago. I can get over that even though it used to be fantastic. I thought maybe he grew the business too quickly as some locations are better than the others. I get the same thing over and over. For the past year, the chicken has been inconsistent and the texture had changed. Maybe they changed where they buy from. Not sure what the problem is but something is going on. The Copperhill location seems to be understaffed. I usually get undercooked chicken lately that I need to recook. Tonight, I wanted to give it another try. I got two chicken kabob meals and a side of chicken. My chicken was not undercooked this time, it was burnt. I guess at least it was cooked. It is too much trouble to go back and too much money is wasted on food that is not up to par. I feel bad that I needed to write this review as the employees are genuinely nice people. Maybe they aren’t cooks though. The business is not going to do well with an absentee owner. Sam, spend some time and fix the things that are wrong. Your product used to be great. I wish you luck. I am finally done. I cannot recommend Sam’s.
