Santa Clarita Massage

Great price, very good massage. I had a knot in my shoulder from working at the computer for so long. I’m not stressed in life, but I do a lot of data entry and computer work all day. BB kneaded and stretched my muscles and got rid of the knot. I felt so limber and dazed when I left. Feeling awesome the next day! I’m definitely going back.

I was very happy with our visit to Santa Clarita Massage. The massage therapists and reception desk were all very friendly and polite but most of all there was no pressure to sign up for anything or buy anything extra. They did a great job with a couples massage for my wife and I and their place is very clean, relaxing and nice. I would go back anytime. I thought the pricing was really good, to me it felt like a pretty high end experience for a very low price.

I’m going to start this off by saying that I may be a bit of a snob when receiving a massage. I’ll own that. However, it is for good reason.
I am a trained and licensed massage therapist myself, I make it a point to try different places in my area to see what they have to offer. I’ve known of Santa Clarita Massage for a while now, but hadn’t tried them until today.
Pros:
* I called an hour ahead of time for an appointment and they were able to accommodate. They seem willing to accommodate your needs as much as possible.
* Clean and very professional setting
* Noise level is well maintained and a good ambiance
* Prices are not outrageous, I could even say fair.
As for the cons, this will be in regards to my experience with my specific therapist…
I did not specify male or female, because I have no preference as long as they can give a good firm massage. I did not catch her name, but my therapist was a middle aged woman, she seemed nice.
Once on the table, I was very disappointed. There was no beginning effleurage, which is the opening strokes to a massage, also the way to initially spread the oil/​lotion.
She began the massage seated, and stayed that way through 75% of it. My issue here is massaging a back from a seated position well bellow the table doesn’t allow for proper form, reach or leverage. All of which were lacking in this experience.
I came in because, much like most massage therapists, I tend to slack off and neglect taking care of my own body, till it caught up with me this morning. I got out of bed only to have a searing muscle pain in my back that caused me to collapse back. That and plenty of shoulder and neck tension from the holiday season made me realize I need to get worked on.
I filled out the initial intake form, and shaded all the areas I wanted focused on. This included my entire back, neck, legs, and feet, also marking it for deep pressure which had an upcharge of $ 10. No big deal, I need it.
She focused majority of her work on areas I did not specify… my biceps, triceps, forarm, and on the shoulder blades. Now for those of you who aren’t aware… you do not massage the bone (primarily with any type of deep pressure work) or joints. Working on my shoulder blades and elbows… yes…ELBOWS, for the better part of 15 minutes, between both sides. I had to speak up. Next when she actually did get to my back, it was seated and light pressure… at this point why have the intake form if you’re just going to disregard everything on it? Once I asked her for more pressure, she finally stood up, pushed the chair aside (rolling stool) and seemed to be trying to give enough pressure to cause pain (that could just be in my head though). Thankfully I enjoy and require a more firm pressure so for about 5 minutes it felt great, but then it was back to light pressure, and her comment…“that was deep tissue, make sure you let the front desk know”…
I happily told the front desk I asked for deeper work, hell, it was on my intake!!! I have no problem paying for what I asked of you!
All in all, I am not that pleased with this experience. Although from all the reviews, I’m sure they have a few therapists who do very well, unfortunately mine didn’t.
I may attempt this place again. However I will have to make certain that I get someone else to work on me. I kind of feel like I wasted $ 68.00 ($ 50 for the massage $ 10 for the «deep tissue» upgrade and an $ 8 tip, only because there were a few minutes of half decent work)
So beware, when coming here, look for recommendations on who you should ask for!

Absolutely amazing experience. Just had a 30 min massage and I had to write a review. Very reasonable pricing. The facilities are clean and inviting. Erica did my massage and she was really professional and made me feel welcomed and confortable the entire time. The massage on its own felt great. You can tell she is knowledgeable and knows how to treat those painfull areas with pressure to your liking. She is fabulous! Highly recommend.

As a former massage therapist I definitely pay attention to detail when it comes to visiting a spa. Let me start off by stating: I feel so RELAXED Erika (the owner) is beyond knowledgable in many aspects of the anatomy so not only are you getting relaxation you’re also getting information about your body and what’s going on with it. The place is so zen and what I really notice and love is that it smells LIKE A SPA. Which is one thing I really look for in the spa experience. Aromatherapy Scents definitely add a whole other level to the massage experience. They also have a good sized shower in the (clean) bathroom incase you want to clean off before or after your massage; as well as a good amount of rooms. the other therapists are friendly and helpful. I love the place and would recommend it to anyone. 5 STARS easily.

My boyfriend and I just had a couples massage. OMG… One of the best one by far. I had Gus (not sure if that’s how you spell his name) he was awesome. He asked me before the appointment if I wanted him to focus on any spot. I told him yes and the area and he did a great job helping release my stress in pain in that area. My boyfriend also loved his massage. I know we’ll be back soon!

Service is excellent here! They are very professional and really seem to care about your health and improvement. I’ve had Nina the past couple times and will be seeing her again today! She always makes sure I am comfortable and that she is targeting my problem areas. Awesome staff!

I started going to santa clarita massage in canyon county over a year ago and I haven’t stopped. The place is clean, everyone is friendly and most of all I really enjoy my massages from Erica I never have a problem getting an appointment they R very accommodating
and you can’t beat the price. NM

Fantastic sports massage! I slept so well the night after this! And woke up the next morning with a lot of my pain and stiffness gone! Erica is a real treat to work with, she made me feel at home and was very attentive to where I was having the most discomfort! I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a good sports massage for recovery or for just general relaxation!

Great place for a massage — clean, updated facilities with proficient therapists. And the staff is great. They also don’t pressure you into some monthly subscription either. Great spot.

Got my first massage here today and what an amazing job Nina did for me. I had a two hour deep tissue and it was the best ever. Not only did Nina work every knot thoroughly, she also stretched the muscles which provided relief. I am definitely coming back!!!

Erika is professional, well trained, and has hands to die for. I wish I could go more often.

I’ve been to many massage parlor’s and spa’s, I’ve had many massages but this one is the best.
Every therapist here targets your concern areas and knows exactly what you need.

I just had my first massage and I will be back. First the spa is very beautiful with nice music and Big screen TV with soothing fish and dolphins. My masseuse Debra, was nice and thorough. I felt better than when I came in. I also like their frequent buyer discounts. I always like when a business wants to keep me as a client. I will probably be back in a few days.

This place is amazing. Everyone who works here is so kind. My massage therapist was Neida and I highly recommend her! She is fabulous.

Pricing is excellent.
I travel extensively and this was one of the better deep tissue massage.
Masseuse stayed focused on upper back as I requested and didn’t try to fit in a whole body as most do.
Heading back in 2 days for follow up ¹¹⁄₂ hr for feet & legs.

Went here during the Xmas break to kick off our vacation by getting a couples massage. The place was very nice, and the staff was very good. The masseuse was also very good they really all th knots out.
My only issue was that it was suppose to be an hour massage. We got there at 3 for our appt, so by the time we filled out paperwork and got ready for a massage it was 10 – 15 mins in already and we were done exactly at 4 pm. So it really was only about 45 mins instead of the full hour.

Been there twice now. I have to say i am a fan.
Very professional, listen to what your needs are. As to the different therapists, guess you have to try different person to find the one best fit your need.
My first therapist was good. The second one was GREAT!
Prices is very fair… unfortunately, I can still only afford once a month. By then, my neck and back are all knotted up again.

I have been dealing with a lot of stress from work and so I really… REALLY needed a massage. I get my dry-​cleaning done right next door and so I thought I would pop by and check out the place. It looked very nice and the staff was nice so I made an appointment for today.
After filling out a brief form noting my problem areas… ahem…everywhere right now because of the stress I was asked to follow my massage therapist, Veronica.
I’m 6’4″ so really no massage table I have been on can hold me, but Veronica guided me after I was on the table. She really hit all of my pressure points and did an excellent job.
When I was I was done, I was loose as a goose baby… lol. I am planning on making my next appointment soon. They had an introductory special of $ 39.99 when I went and Veronica said they have other specials so I look forward to going in again.
It seems like everyone who has gone here got a massage from Erica (Erika) but Veronica was very good and I will be happy to see her again when I need another hour of relaxation and massage.
