My specialty is prior years returns (filed or unfiled), Small Businesses (Schedule C), Rental Properties (Schedule E) and Individual Tax Returns.

On-​site — A tax preparer will come to you at your home, office or even on your lunch break. I will have everything needed to complete your return during your appointment. Please use the contact form for more information about these services.

Off-​site — Email, fax or mail in your paperwork and a tax preparer will complete your return within 3 business days (provided all required information is available).

Which ever method you choose there is no trekking back and forth to the tax office. And you can be sure your return is being completed timely and accurately

So Cal Mobile Tax Prep was an idea I had one day and then it turned into a business venture.

I had been preparing taxes for about five years and had been looking for a way to expand without the costly start-​up…

And then it came to me…

Mobility!

The single largest expense for most new businesses is an office or storefront lease. By having mobility, I eliminated that expense and SCMTP was born in 2009.

Mobility also gave me the ability to pass those savings onto my clients, keeping my rates reasonable without sacrificing quality.

I was born and raised in So Cal and in my early 20’s I started preparing my own taxes. That soon evolved into helping friends and family complete their returns, too.

I found that I have a true interest in learning more about our tax code and how it is applied to the individual tax payer.

A few years later I decided to make it official and enrolled in a tax course offered by Liberty Tax Service. I passed the course, registered with CTEC, the IRS and purchased the required bond. I have learned something new every tax season and I love the challenge. I enjoy helping people with something that can be tedious, time consuming and frustrating. My professional goal this year is to study to become an Enrolled Agent.

When I am not preparing taxes, I am driving all over So Cal for my daughter’s softball tournaments. I also enjoy hiking, running and being active in general. I achieved my personal goal in 2014 to complete a 10k and am now looking to complete a half marathon in 2015!
