We have been going to Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic for over 12 years.
Perfect place to take my precious pets to. Dr. Seeley and the other doctors there are fantastic… Great care and understanding of our pets needs and treatments. Our dog, Dakota was treated for cancer at Sweetwater when she was five and given 3 to 5 years… It’s been 7 years and Dakota is still in remission. The staff as well are extremely friendly and give lots of attention to us and our pets. Thank you Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic!!!

Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic is the absolutely best place to take your furry family members, I have been going there since about 2005 and drive the extra 30 miles so I know that my sweetie will get the best care even though there are several veterinarians within a 5 minute drive from my home. They have the best doctors and assistants, I love that they befriend your animal before examining them and try to make them feel as comfortable as possible, and they are very friendly to the two legged species also. I will continue to take the 30 minute drive for the best care for my furry little girl!

Our last rescue dog of 17 years was a long time patient of Dr Sanford when he was in Santa Clarita. When the office moved to Agua Dulce, there was no doubt in our minds that we would make the extra 30 minute drive to the new location. We have had 2 rescue dogs for more than 12 years now and there is no other place we’ will bring them. Our chihuahua Bella is 14yrs old and terrified of examinations and they handle her so gently – it warms our hearts. EVERYONE in that office is patient, kind and compassionate. We’ve never been disappointed. There have been times when we’ve had to bring them to another office (i.e. after hours care) and they don’t hold a candle to the care, compassion and expertise that SW Vet provides. Dr Conn is so calm and reassuring – what a blessing this office has been to us and to our little Bella & Benny.

Sweetwater Veterinary is by far the best clinic around. I have taken my dogs to so many different vets and they are truly the best. The greet you with a smile when you walk in and know your dogs names and are gentle with them. I took last night my little pug and Chihuahua who is always scared of shots and getting his nails cut and Patty who is a tech and groomer is absouletly wonderful in calming him down. She does all 6 of our pets for grooming. Our Pug Bella came in for some issues and their newest doctor, Caitlin Seeley is a great addition to the team. She made me feel comfortable and at ease that nothing serious was wrong with Bella, only minor allergies. I would highly recommend them to everyone even if you must drive a bit further, they are worth it. Thank you to all at Sweetwater Vet for always being good to our dogs & pigs.

We recently rescued a dog from the Lancaster shelter and had a vet voucher to have her checked out. A friend referred us to this vet and it was an eligible location to redeem the voucher. We had a really good experience here. They were open late to accommodate our schedule. The technician and the vet were very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be taking my dogs here in the future.

I brought my Shiba Inu today because we needed a second opinion on the treatment she got a few days ago. Dr. Seely was patient and understanding with my concerns. She explained her recommendations and treatment plan throughly. I felt more at ease with her than my regular vet and because of that, I’m switching my dogs care to Sweetwater. The staff was really friendly and we didn’t have to wait long. The facility was clean and the price for my dogs treatment was reasonable. I’m glad I took a chance going here today, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants quality care for their animals!!!

We had our first visit for our black lab Sammy. Great experience with wonderful customer service and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The Dr. Took time to sit and talk to us and gave suggestions on how to keep our Sammy healthy. Hopefully we will be back for lots of well doggy visits.

I have been to many Veterinary Clinics over the years and in all parts of the country. Sweetwater is far and above the best, nicest, Clinic I have ever been to. The facility is beautiful, everyone that I met was caring.
Dr. Mark Williams did surgery on my Sophie’s eyelid to remove a cyst. The price was very fair and the follow up was without parallel .
I am very thankful that we found this place.

Better than they once were. They provide good quality veterinary services and can usually fit in an emergency here and there. They offer moderate services including teeth cleaning, spaying and neutering. They do not perform serious major surgery and will refer you to a surgery center.
I use them regularly for my cats and dogs. Previously they insisted you have an annual well pet check up with blood work, otherwise they would refuse to give your pets annual vaccinations. They seem to have realized this was foolish and discouraged business so they have rescinded this policy.
I really loved Sheri Cushing-​Grisham. Her bedside manner and sensible approach to veterinary medicine was refreshing in an age where most veterinarians seem to want to «sell services» to increase the practices profit margin. Alas, she has moved to Idaho. She still works a few days a month but it’s tough to schedule in to see her.
The other vets are certainly knowledgeable and capable, but they just don’t click with me like Dr. Grisham did.
I still feel like they «encourage» some services which are not truly necessary. An example would be they ran a blood check on my cat. The results came back on the «high» side of normal. (I later learned their in office equipment isn’t that sophisticated or new and another vet who is no longer with them (not Dr. Grisham) confided to me they will not update their equipment or mindset). They recommended they retake blood and send to an outside lab, which I agreed to. However, I had to pay twice for the test. The results came back normal. First, I wasn’t certain I truly needed the first blood test. Even so, in future I will not allow them to run and will insist on sending it to an outside lab so I don’t have to pay twice and am assured a more accurate result. I suggest you may wish to do the same.

Find another Vet if you care about your animal.

I have used SVC for serveral years to get medical treatment for my horses 2 times a year or for emergencies. I like the thriftiness of the pre-​paid annual medical services and always purchase the required treatment services in Dec for the following year. Dr. Mark Williams and his equine assistant, Amanda, are friendly, helpfu and responsivel. They always answer questions and return phone calls. They keep excellent electronic notes so they can refer to them and provide follow treatment as needed. Keeping a regular treatment plan with SVC has allowed for personnal care for each of my horses veterinary needs. SVC usually keeps 3 equine vets on staff so it always easy to get a vet out after hours and on weekends and holidays. Keep up the great work SVC!

I have owned, shown and trained many dogs. Their health and well-​being is paramount. We have been using Sweetwater Vet for over 10 years and have always been treated like family. We have gone through sad and trying times in the loss of loved dogs along with new pups joining our home. Each and every time I feel that everyone has gone above and beyond what was necessary. Just recently one of our dogs had a surgical procedure about the same time as my husband (not the same procedure ha ha). Sweetwater called us the next day to check on our pup and make sure he was doing well. We never received a call from my husband’s Dr even though they told us they would call and check on him. Hmmmmm… seems like my vet cares more for our dogs than the Dr. did for my husband :)

I am currently interning at Sweetwater and I love it. Even as personal experiences with vets go, this is hands down one of the best hospitals I’ve been to. The doctors are friendly and caring, the staff is just amazing. I’m glad I got the chance to work at this amazing clinic

I went to this Veterinary clinic for HELP & GUIDANCE.
I LEFT THE OFFICE CRYING AND SICK TO MY STOMACH.
We love our English Bull Dogs, Badabing & Rosy, so much that we wanted them to have a full life!
We think she is pregnant & I traveled over an hour to make sure that Rosy was given the best care including a possible C section, if needed.
I brought our beautiful daughter to them for HELP & GUIDANCE.
When I arrived I could not understand the FRIGID reception I received from Natalie, but that was just the beginning.
Dr Kahn seemed very irritated that our daughter might be pregnant on her 1^st heat She examined Rosy & told me that I should not be breeding Rosy because she has an issue with her bottom eyelids and that the sire has allergies and should never breed.
I still could not shake the feeling that I was being treated with distain, almost anger, & being judged so harshly, I felt I had to defend myself. I told her that the puppies were already spoken for, incredible homes of our family and friends & her response was «TELL THEM TO GO TO A SHELTER.»
The more I thought about and cried about it, I called back to speak to the owner. I was refused & was told that the owner would not call me & when I told the office manager, Jim, about the conversation w Dr Kahn, he told me he could not believe me! Basically called me a liar!
I went to them for help & expense was no issue & was treated so incredibly horrible BUT WORSE, so was our Rosy.
They should be ashamed themselves. STAY AWAY!!!

I, too, loved Dr. Sandy Sanford. I followed him from Santa Clarita. I was very sad to see him leave SWV. However, I LOVE Dr. Carolyn Conn. She is such a great vet. I get the feeling that she would be someone that you would want as a friend. Just very loving and down to earth. I wouldn’t think of going to anyone else either. Carolyn, if you read this, don’t ever leave us. We love you.

Dr. Conn is the ONLY Doctor that we will ever use.(except you Dr. Sanford).
Dr. Conn is super friendly, informative, patient, and is the only Dr that Molly feels comfortable with. Molly actually sleeps on the table with Dr. Conn.
Don’t complain about cost — you have a wonderful companion — treat them with respect and give them the care they deserve. I have never felt like I’ve been ripped off. Medical care is not cheap anywhere. Sweetwater is no more expensive than any other vet.

I love these people. This is the only vet in my area who will take care of chickens, thanks to Dr. Mark Williams. The waiting area and exam rooms are very clean and inviting. The location is convenient. The people are friendly, smart, and helpful.

We took our dog here for several years. We left our previous vet because we felt that we were just a profit center to them. Absolutely LOVED Dr. Sanford, and the prices were fair. He did not recommend expensive treatments or tests unless they were really necessary. It is just not the same since he left. I feel that they have moved more towards seeing a client more as a profit center than patient. You will still get good care here, but I think they add on unnecessary things just to drive up your bill to a certain threshold that they want to earn from each visit. Due to this, we have moved on to a different vet.

Fantastic group of vets. Having several different kinds of animals it’s nice to be able to call one place for everything.
