History

Established in 1984.

The Sherwood Group’s goal is to help clients double and triple their business through advertising, marketing communications, graphic design, web design, and social media.

The firm avoids trendy design that looks dated in a couple of years and instead strives to create work that is clean, corporate, and still looks fresh and relevant after 10 or 15 years.

Over the years, the firm has garnered a large number of regional, national and international awards including an international «Best of Show» award. Their work is in the Library of Congress’s permanent collection, and they’ve received the Federal Design Excellence award, the highest award given by the National Endowment for the Arts.

When all is said and done, Our mission is too stir your imagination and leave your competition shaken and wondering, «Now what do we do?».

I’ve been in the business of advertising, graphic design, web design, and marketing communications for over 40 years, since I was 16 years old, running a hand-​feed letterpress, designing invitations, tickets and cards in my family’s print shop. And after all these years, the rush I still get from finding a great, and inspired creative solution makes it all worth it.

A direct result of the enthusiasm I have for my career is that I get to «create» for a living, instead of «work» for a living. And in the process I’ve helped some of my clients achieve extraordinary success, even doubling and tripling their business.
