so i go in there last night and had a question. well the cashier was too busy hanging out with his friends. no customer service was offered what so ever. i was walking around and kept looking in the employee’s direction. one of his friends noticed but still no help. that guy could have had a sale but i walked out after being in the store for 5 minutes.

This store is awesome! The GUNPLA section is decent. Hope they get more new models to sell cause I’m one of there few customers who buys there models on every paycheck I get! The staff is very friendly an will who works there is awesome and sure knows his stuff on gundam! :)

I have been here a few times to see what Japanese items they have available. Selection is limited depending on what you are looking for. I mainly come here for the gunpla (Gundam) model kits they have available. Which isn’t much due to the small location. Though most of these stores tend to be small regardless. A fair amount of animé/manga items from plushies to figures. If you want something local in the SCV area this would be your only choice in the city. But if you are looking for more selection you will have to end up driving to the Little Tokyo. Only major problem here is the past few times they haven’t opened up on the time stated on Unilocal.But other than that the staff member Will has always been very helpful and knowledgeable on certain products.

Most, if not ALL of the animé merchandise sold here is BOOTLEG! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not buy any of it from them! Support Japan and animé by seeking out real, genuine merchandise somewhere online. The only thing worth a crap in this store is the UCC Coffee that they sell in the fridge in the back of the store.

This was our first time into this store and it was a lot of fun. Full of cute and fun items in all price ranges (candy, toys, pencils, pillows, erasers, backpacks, kitchen goods, keychains, figurines-can’t even begin to cover it all). William was the young man working in the store and he was so helpful and friendly it really made our visit enjoyable. As novices to the items in the store we really appreciated his input on explaining some of the fun stuff (a dog bank that is animated, coffee and tea cups with special lids to hold in the heat). Definitely worth a look if you haven’t visited here yet and if William is there he will be sure to help you out.

Its a good place to get some Japanese stuff. Usually just come here for some gifts. Also my sister and I get those edible candy food you make. Although a bit expensive compared to others I don’t really want to drive to other places since I’m for convenienc. Its small but you have the basics in there.

Went in here because my kids wanted to buy some of the little erasers they had. After picking them out we went up to the front just as the woman working the register got a phone call. I guess it was someone important because rather than wait on us and make a sale she chose to remain on the phone while we waited… and waited… and waited. Finally, after about 5 minutes I just gave up and told my kids that the woman didn’t deserve to get our money if she felt like her phone call was more important than making money. My kids weren’t too happy, but we found another store and spent our hard earned money with someone who deserved it. Whoever owns this place may want to train their employees that customers come first.
