History

Established in 1991.

U-​Wash Doggie® SCV was born out of (founder and Pioneer), Francisco Gamero’s recurring frustration over the hassle associated with washing his Golden Retriever, Max, in the bathtub at home.

Francisco Gamero founder and owner of U-​Wash Doggie® has been dealing with people for many years and has achieved success by building relationships with people and by learning how to motivate them. He lives and has been doing business in SCV since 1975 and feels a strong responsibility to the local Santa Clarita community. He can be reached at the Newhall location.

Convinced there had to be a better way for pet washing, he opened the first U-​Wash Doggie® store in Santa Clarita, California in 1991. Twenty two years later, U-​Wash Doggie® operates in four locations, three of which are in the Santa Clarita Valley; «SCV» and one in Studio City. All locations offer DIY, «Do It Yourself» pet wash and Professional Grooming all pet breeds.
