Facey is another HMO joke… from regular doctors to GYN. They only care about moving them in and moving them out. They don’t listen to your concerns. They don’t do proper tests. If it doesn’t come up in their ‘regular’ blood panel, they don’t know what to do. It makes me laugh that they had some banner up last time I was there about rated #1 — where? LOL Look at all the bad reviews online and people’s experiences from the individual doctors. From GI to GYN to Primary Care. Most of them (especially specialists) have been with Facey for years. They are old dinosaurs with bad reputations and some I have seen personally and the reviews are true and for whatever reason they refuse to get rid of them. So if you need to see a specialist, you’re screwed and subjected to these clowns. I tried to talk to them last time and told them to read the reviews on these doctors and just got blown off. They don’t care. Time to move on and drive to UCLA or somewhere else.

Welcome to the baby factory! It’s worth knowing that the individual doctors can be better or worse. In our experience Dr. Marter was great. The others we saw… not so much. Be prepared to wait 30 – 45 minutes per appointment. They might «see» you only 15 minutes after your appointment time, but then you’ll be in the room for another 15 – 30. You don’t know who the doctor on call will be when you actually go into labor. As with so many medical facilities the goal is to make money and avoid lawsuits. Be prepared for a sterile environment with little care for a woman’s health and for everything to be oriented around what’s best for Facey and for the doctors. If we have another baby in Santa Clarita, we will try to find something else that works with our insurance.

Every time I come here, my appointment is late. Every. Single. Time. I walk in a few minutes early for a 9:30 appt. and they are already running 30 minutes late (which will no doubt be longer). I hate having my time wasted and the Facey experience is not good enough for me to put up with this.
Doctors are a mixed bag. I always seem to get the part time ones that never have appointments available. Make sure you check out Dr reviews by googling.
You have to be your own strong advocate here. They are quick to dismiss concerns as nothing. I have twice really pushed to get a test done that exposed real issues if I had listened to them… Well it might have not turned out.

I’ve been going to Pr. Marina Fraiman for years, she’s professional, has your best interest in mind, always listens to your opinions and concerns. Today I went in for a yearly exam, changed prescriptions & also requested blood work. I was in the building for only 30 min and walked out with all of these things completed. EVERYONE from the ladies at the front desk to my phlebotomist were very friendly, precise, and helpful. Best health care experience I’ve ever had.

The BEST ObGyn dr at Facey is Dr Marter, he has amazing beside manner, very patient, answers any questions or concerns, friendly and kind. I felt so comfortable with him during my visits and my delivery! I would recommend him to any female seeking an OBGYN.

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since my knee replacement. The Facey Ortho Team, led by Dr. Charles Young, were professional and caring. Dr. Young is an amazing physician and the positive results I have experienced from pre op to 2 years later are proof. The Physical Therapy Team at the Facey Mission Hills location helped me regain strength and mobility with no pain. I know I posted something right after surgery about my positive experience — I hope this email will help those who may be putting surgery off to think again and take the step. I switched doctors in 2014 due to a job transfer. My previous doctor had completed ultrasounds, blood and lab work on me and my husband, and they had tracked our fertility issues. When I came to see Dr. Francis Yuan, I explained to her all the labs and ultrasounds and told her I was 31and had been trying to conceive for a year and a half. The previous dr, told me the next step would be HSG and clomid cycle. I asked Dr. Yuan if I could transfer my medical records from my previous doctor to her office and pick up where we left off because I lost 6 months during the job transfer, new schedule, promotion and move. She told me no, she rather «treat me for one year herself» and run her own tests and labs. she also told me as soon as a year was up she would prescribe me clomid or refer me to a fertility clinic.
A year later I did all the labs and test and charts she asked for, and she never asked me for them… I took an HSG and it resulted in my entire right side being completely blocked and I have endometriosis… in the beginning untold Dr. Yuan this, so finally when I saw her and she viewed the HSG results, in was crying and said to her, «I told you I already knew that from my last dr and medical records» She sent me a referral to a dr that is 2 hours away with no traffic in the outskirts of thousand oaks or agora somewhere. The dr there owns the ivf clinic, he charged me 300.00 to speak to me for 10minutes, hear me cry because now I have wasted 2 ½ years and then says it will be 16K and he can have me pregnant in 2 months…
By the way Dr. Yuan charges 269.00 for a doctor visit, I have Anthem blue cross through county employees insurance. She coded the charge infertility evaluation instead of wellness or yearly doctor visit, but she said she could not send me to infertility clinic because she had not diagnosed me with infertility yet… but in was charged for infertility diagnose.
The front staff is nice, location is clean. But do not chose dr Yuan unless you want to waste your time and money with procedures and labs you want to do over…

My doctor prescribed me a liver ultrasound at this new facility. Because of all work going on on the street it was initially difficult to find the parking for this new building. Its actually located behind and you have to drive past the Emergency building (Henry Mayo). The staff at reception was nice and courteous. The lab technician was polite and all was said and done in less then 30 minutes. They send the results to my doctor within 24 hours which was awesome.

Outside of changing to an HMO a few years ago. Been coming to Facey on Copperhill for years. They just opened this facility in Henry Mayo. The staff here are amazing and the doctors are superb. Very Clean, Prompt, and thorough. Even getting referred out with my HMO plan. Yes, the wait is a pain but it really is smooth and quick.

Professional staff. Courteous. Parking there is ample. Some parts are under construction so come early of this is your first time to come there. 30 minutes to fill out the paperwork if you’re coming in for the 1^st time.
Clean waiting rooms. Medical assistants are helpful. I told the medical assistant that I didn’t want a male gynecologist, didn’t feel comfortable. I was given a new appointment with a female doctor for a schedule that works for me.
Nice facility, free wifi and pleasant looking ambiance for their waiting rooms. Their waiting room is better with the t.v. keeping you company.

Review for Dr. Tuso & «Dr. Kitty»
I WISH after years of going here I had a better review to post. I had seen «Dr. Kitty» for years and she was great until I needed infertility treatment and then discovered she was not in fact a doctor. She is nurse practitioner. I was then referred to Dr. Tuso. While I trust he has experience, he did little to make a year of treatment and then a miscarriage feel like it was of any concern to him. At my last visit to follow up after we lost our first pregnancy he had to ask me if I conceived naturally. HE was the one who had overseen my clomid cycles and could not seem to remember any details about me no matter what visit. We are now paying out of pocket to go to a specialist in Beverly Hills because we just can’t handle another doctor who doesn’t seem to have any real concern regarding helping patients.
Also, we waited a minimum of an hour each time. If you can imagine losing a pregnancy is hard enough… and they would leave us in the waiting room for over an hour with pregnant women coming in and out. Dr. Tuso was never on time to any of my appointments.

I hate this place for so many reasons! The OBGYN is horrible!!! Dr. Yuan is the most cold heart robot rude doctor I have ever had!!! All she kept wanting to give me was pills and when I took her up on it I ended up in the hospital for two nights for a blood transfusion!!! I was dying it was horrible and to top it off when I was there they kept calling her to get information and she was no where to be found. The other doctors had to help me which they didn’t know half the things going on in my medical history. The front desk is unprofessional rude and just plain catty!!! Instead of making you feel welcomed and secure and safe they make you want to complain and protest to shut them down! I have the best insurance out there and to be treated with no respect is just wrong! They need to get rid of their whole staff and hire people who actually care for the human race!

I have been a long term patient with Dr Kittur he is great, every time I come in they make me feel welcome. Nurse Nydia is the best always shows care and answers all my questions. They are both wonderful!!!

I can say nothing but wonderful things about Facey. I just had my baby on Aug. 31, 2014. Dr. Nguyen was on call. I went in to be induced. He realized something was wrong, the cord was wrapped around my baby’s neck and every time I had a contraction the cord pulled tighter slowing his heartbeat. It was only going to get worse. Dr. Nguyen’s intuition to rush me immediately into an emergency c-​section, saved my babies life. Because of him and his wonderful team, I now have a healthy, 7lb.12oz. beautiful baby boy. He paid attention to me and was vigilant in monitoring my situation. I am forever in debt to him and all the wonderful people who were in that operating room that fateful day. Thank u Dr. Nguyen!!!

Oh my goodness the OBGYN DEPARTMENT is terrible!!! Where to begin… for one, I have been waiting for almost an hour!!! No one seems to know what is going on around here and it is not the first time. The last time I waited forty five minutes in the lobby and another twenty in the room.
To continue with this fabulous place (NOT)… I called one time because I needed the suite number to my specialist’s office and the lady on the other side of the line told me that she was going to just give me the phone number to a specialist. I then asked what specialist? She wanted to give me the number to a specialist I had nothing to do with. I replied, no I just need the suite number to my specialist located on (gave her address). Needless to say she said she didn’t know which one. I THEN asked her to please check my patient records to locate the information on my referral AND THEN PROCEEDED TO GIVE ME THE SAME WRONG NUMBER TO THE WRONG SPECIALIST. In the end, she actually hung up on me. I took it upon myself to follow the next pregnant woman to walk by me and luckily I followed her to the right place!!!
On a separate occasion, I came in for blood work as the doctor requested me to do so. I go to the front desk and tell them what I’m there for and the idiot at the front desk says there is NOTHING in my file that states that. So I drive home. I get a call two days later from my specialist asking if I got my blood work done and I told them that I had been told by my doctor’s office that I was not scheduled to get one! What upset me the most was that it was a very important blood test that could only be done within a certain time window and I almost missed it because of incompetent employees. As it turns out it was in my patient records all along!!!

This review is for the OBGYN department. Since the move to the new building everyone seems more cheerful. The facility is so much more spacious and clean. The staff is quite helpful and so far my experience with the NP has been great. I am always able to book my appointments with no difficulty and reschedule if needed.
The lab is so much better than the old one. More open and the waiting room looks so clean.
Being an ex kaiser member and not by choice… I must say I am quite happy with the OB care I have received. I cannot say that much for the other departments.

I don’t understand the bad reviews here. This is not a boutique OBGYN. This is not your mom-​and-​pop grocery store. This is a doctor’s office for a major (are they major? I don’t know?) medical group. I did not expect the receptionists to remember my name, and I was not offended when they didn’t. If you want to see somebody ASAP, go to a nurse practitioner upstairs and see one of them first. I have been with Facey for as long as I can remember, and when I was pregnant, I made sure to see each OBGYN doctor once for routine appointments so I could meet them all. I didn’t really like them all, but that’s to be expected.
I received accurate medical attention, and I was pleasant to the people who worked there (which goes a long way). If I want somebody to compliment me on the color of my underwear, I’ll ask my husband. The numbers and names of their buildings here in SCV can get a bit confusing, but it doesn’t take long to verify things with the receptionists if you have questions. A little personal responsibility isn’t a bad thing, people.

Absolutely despicable. I had to wait 3 weeks to see a specialist. when the dr who was referring me knew I had no feeling in my fingers, and was in enormous amounts of pain. Did they care no. They just shuffled me in. Forget about actually expecting a caring phone call. God forbid your Doctors office knows your name. Everytime you call hi name is blah blah, «what is your dob» BLAH. Seriously. it takes 1 second, to show a little bit of caring, but they dont. It is sad because my mom used to work in the medical field, so I know what good doctors offices are like. NO facey office is a good one.
Then I finally get into to see the specialist, and he says you need surgery right away. this is a Tuesday. So I call on Friday to see how the referral is doing and they tell me, oh it has not been submitted yet. Today is Friday guess that means I need to wait a whole week longer to even get the authorization for my surgery. Unacceptable.

We welcomed our first child into the world on March 8, 2013 with the help of the Facey Medical groups OBGYN department. We decided on Dr. Marter to be our primary doctor leading up to the birth of our little girl and as luck and scheduling would have it, he was on call when we were admitted to the hospital!
From the receptionists to the nurses and to the doctor himself, we had a stress and worry free 9 months! As for delivery day, Dr. Marter was on his game, delivering our little bundle of joy in just 28 minutes naturally! His bedside manner, coupled with a strong wit, made for a great day all around! We’re not planning on it now, but IF we have #2, Dr. Marter is our guy!

I went to this medical group throughout my pregnancy. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The office was also very clean and organized. There were a couple times that I had to call the office after a visit because I was upset with my nurses lack of answers. I didn’t feel that my nurse wasn’t knowledgeable, it seemed more like she didn’t care to share the details with me so I had to pull them out of her. Once I called to complain and demanded answers to my questions… she was more than willing to help me at my visits. Funny how that works out.
My biggest complaint was the waiting time for ultrasounds. If I showed up on time for my appointment, but the appointment before me showed up 15 minutes late, I would still be waiting behind the person who showed up late. It was incredibly irritating and very uncomfortable when you’re pregnant.
