Always a wonderfull experince coming here the girls are always so nice and welcoming i never have to wait they always sit me down right away… they always keep my eyebrows on fleek and are very carefull aswell i recommend this place DO NOT iRepeat do not go to the place inside the mall brow art whatver its called they are overpriced and had the worst experience at that place they cut my eyebrow so bad it left a a nasty scar and i told them n. They dnt care at this place they care about you

This will be the first of many times that I will be threading my eyebrows at zia. I walked in and the welcoming was just right and saima was the kindest and gentlest with me. I explained to her that I have never waxed nor threaded my eyebrows and this would be the first time. She threaded just perfect and it was bearly any pain than I was expecting. She made sure to check on me to see if I was ok with how she was shaping the eyebrows. In the end she applied a rose type lotion to reduce irritation and redness but they looked fantastic! Not to mention they only charge $ 9. Great experience and will definitely be a customer every month! (:

Paid to have my eyebrows ruined. I will not be back. Go anywhere else. Save your eyebrows.

This place was absolutely wonderful and definitely worth a shot if you’re looking for a polished eyebrow look! I usually get my brows done in New York City, and I was kinda worried about brow studios I’d find around Valencia, but Zia was even better than my lady on the east coast! I didn’t catch the name of the woman who helped me but she was wonderful. My brows are thick and dark and full, and she defined their shape without taking out all of the fullness! I also love how she made them more symmetrical. She worked pretty quickly, I was in and out within 15 minutes, but she was very methodical and checked her work more than a few times. Plus, they even spritz your skin with some rose water, which was brilliant and perfectly soothing for my sensitive skin. Usually when I get my brows done, the skin around that area breaks out a little! But it didn’t this time, and that was great. Overall, my new lady at Zia made me feel so gorgeous! My family and friends were all commenting on how great they looked once I was done!

Used to be amazing I’m not sure what happened. They don’t open on time and today I came in for an appointment to see a sign stating «be back in 15 minutes». 23 minutes later from seeing the sign and 5 min late for my appointment. someone shows up. She didn’t apologize for being late and then she butchered my left brow. Never again. I knew I should’ve left when no one was there on time. Zia you’ve lost a loyal customer who has been coming here since you opened. My eyebrows are COMPLETELY different from one another.

We stopped in for henna today. No wait & she did a beautiful job. Will definitely be back. $ 15 for the mermaid $ 20 for the flower on the leg/​ankle.

I used to go to the threading place upstairs in the mall but ever since they changed ownerships (yes multiple owners have tried their luck with the shop) I decided to try Zia. Zia is definitely cheaper than most other threading places and it is usually always walk in for me. I am very picky when it comes to my eyebrows and the lady (I’m sad to say I don’t remember her name) tries her best to make my eyebrows exactly how I want them. She even remembers me when I come in and asks how my daughter is doing as well as my husband. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because sometimes my eyebrows don’t come out exactly how I want them, but that’s also partly because my eyebrows can be very stubborn sometimes. All in all, its a great shop and definitely worth checking out!

It is confirmed they compromised my credit card info. Do not go here. Had to cancel my card, this is the only place I have used that card in months.

Saima is the person at Zia Threading who knows how to do eyebrows — 5 stars go to her. I used to get my eyebrows done in NYC by women who knew exactly what they were doing, and I haven’t come across anyone in SCV who would compare. Saima is very clean, precise and and gentle, in addition to being very sweet. In a nutshell, Saima does it best. I’ve gone to two other women at Zia Threading and I wasn’t very happy with the results.

This was the worst threading experience I have had. She took a very long time, it was more painful than usual and my eyebrows are now uneven. When I got home I looked in the mirror and saw that the reason why it was so painful was that she nicked my skin under both my eyebrows. Two days later I had scabs form. She did not know what she was doing.

Urooj is by far the best lady to do eyebrows! Every time I come in she does an excellent job and always has a smile on her face. Excellent customer service! I always come here, plus the prices are the best in town :)

I set an appointment for this place and thought I was good to go. I walked in and only one woman was working. She was sitting down and on her cell. I walked in and said «hello. I have an appointment» because she did not acknowledge that I walked in. She got up and said «oh no one told me.» I told her I made an appointment a week ago and asked if she could see me. She said «oh I see you in the system now». Anyway, she did a great job on my eyebrows but had horrible attitude. When I went to pay she slid my credit card very fast a few times and kept saying it was denied. The card was NOT DENIED, she was sliding it too quickly. I told her to slide it slowly because the magnetic part of the card might be a little worn out. she ROLLED HER EYES and told me me «the card is full,» I was so upset and asked her to slide it slowly which she replied «no. It’s full!» How could she tell me my card is full? I gave her another card and left. Later that night I went next door and bought something with the card she said «it’s full!» I know my card was not denied because I didn’t have enough funds! She was sliding it too fast.
Over all, worst service I have ever seen. Pretty epic on how bad it was. Too bad.

I went in the afternoon to try out Zia since I’ve been to the Glendale location and had a pleasant experience. Okay. The real reason was because it’s $ 2 cheaper than Elegant Shapes. I’m a cheapskate.
There was only one employee working and was in the middle of blow drying a client’s hair. I waited for around 20 minutes.
I was having my eyebrows threaded. I realize hair is being removed, but holy crap. I’ve never experienced pain like that getting my eyebrows threaded. Ouch. As in, it turned my stomach kind of pain. I felt like I was in the chair for way longer than is normal. They looked fine but it wasn’t worth the long and drawn out pain.

I’m happy to say that I’ve still been using their threading services a year later. I always go to Saima in the mornings because she knows exactly what to do. She’s very fast and efficient at what she does. I have no complaints at all with Zia Threading– they always do an excellent job.

Great price. Great service. Very satisfied. I have been back a few times and have made my mother in law a fan as well.

I love coming here to get my eyebrows threaded, its cheap, quick the décor is lovely and I love their customer service! Everywhere else in this town is way too pricey but here you get a good deal and great looking eyebrows.

I’ve been in the cosmetology field for 13 years. Have had many, MANY awesome estheticians wax my brows, etc. But I’ve never had threading done until yesterday… seriously the best eyebrow I’ve ever had. Went in last minute (i have two kids, no time for scheduled appointments), to see if i could get my brows done. Very nice ladies, Rovina did an excellent job and was very friendly. I cant tell you how many times I’ve had waxing done in my life but threading is where its at!!! Truly amazing and natural arch, not to mention the price! $ 8.99 is too good to be true, but it is!
Now I can afford to get my brows done every 3 weeks like I used to! Wooohoo!

This is the best threading I have ever had! Anila, the owner, doesn’t need any directions — she is so great at threading!.. she makes me feel so pretty!.. go here if you want quick, efficient service from a very nice staff!..

I’ve been back 3 more times and the experience is still good. I’ve had the same lady thread my brows each time and she does what I ask her to do. I went 3x in January which is a good deal for 15.00. I used to go to Elegant shapes and while they were good, the price jumped from 8.00−10.00 to 12.00 in the last 2.5yrs. I’ll stick with Zia.
