Dr. Shoquist was probably a good audiologist when hearing aids were simple and had limited capability. My experience was — to put it mildly — a disappointment. He was utterly incompetent at setting up a Phonak hearing aid, starting from the beginning when he changed the factory settiings because he thought they messed them up. One year’s frustration followed during which he completely failed to deal with the computer-intensive setting process and completely failed to realize the potential of this aid to help my hearing.
