For being the closest liquor store to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and being right next to our Inn, this place is decent. It may be sketch at night, but during the day you should be fine… Lots of beer selections but at beach prices… I found a new flavor of hot Cheetos here, which were amazing. I will be looking out for these when back in SOCal! Remember, they only accept cash here; No debit or credit cards. While my friend was counting out the change from his pocket for his purchase… I glanced over to the ATM machine near the door, which looked extremely sketchy and basically said, no thanks.

Convenient place right by the Boardwalk to pick up a brew or a Mexican Coke! Prices are Ok considering they’re right next to the Boardwalk where beers are $ 8 each or you can grab one here. Also an array of snacks, chips, dips, and ice cream. A place worth remembering for your next beach trip!

Owner is a total A-hole. No quarters for laundry, is disrespectful to his/her customer, machines broken all the time, and they will close on you in the middle of doing laundry. Signs posted are inaccurate, and staff very unhelpful. Don’t go here.

After getting our wallets eaten alive by boardwalk vendors, our group went for beer at this market. $ 14.87 for a 12-pack of Bud Light. Whoa… not thanks. Lots homeless hanging out

Beer is cheaper here than the boardwalk. Lot of bums hanging around and not much in the way of food offered, but they are the only market in walking distance that has beer/wine/liquor, which is why the bums are here. They do sell red cups individually also.

One of the only liquor stores in the Beach Flats, and the only one in that area. My friends used to have an alarm set for 7:45 so they could make sure to get there before they close(at 8:00) otherwise it’s a walk downtown for booze. They’ve also got some groceries and mexican popsicles, which are delicious.

A co-worker and I stopped by this place to load up on plastic cups and ice for our drinking part-aay in our motel room. We happened to spot this liquor store at the corner of our eyes when we surveying the location near our motel. Make no mistake, this is not a market. No real produce or meat selections. It is a general store or a liquor store as we commonly call this place. This place definitely is a tourist trap as they probably get most of their business from the fallouts of the amusement park visitors. It’s only 2 minute walk from the Boardwalk. They have a little of everything you need. Reminds me very much of Safe-ons. I guess it’s called a mini-Save ons. The staff that works there looked at us like a fish out of the water and treat it with indifference. Hey, if we are in the hurry to get in and out, not a problem with that. My feeling was that the guy probably got sick of talking with long breathed tourists who seemed to yep all day. Well well… bad news for him. The guy behind me is from Kansas and he and his wife seemed to be excited about everything. Woo weee. Good luck with that, Beach Market man.
