These guys are great!!! Scheduling was really easy and they even were super understanding when I had to reschedule due to my child being sick. Davis showed up right on time, was very professional, charged me a very reasonable fee and did a beautiful job. I will definitely be using them again.

What an incredible team. Connoisseur has cleaned our carpets several times with amazing results, getting out stains that we never dreamed would go away and overall making them look new. Most recently they came to clean our light colored couch and chairs that had really been worked over by our toddler and our dog; when the fabric proved pretty stubborn and the results weren’t as good as any of us had hoped, they handled the whole thing in such a professional and thoughtful way. I know miracles aren’t possible every time, but their effort and customer service far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them!

Almost impossible for me to give a 5 star rating, but Mike and his employee were truly amazing and I could not be any happier!
After 6 months of construction due to a water leak, I had significant construction dust that permeated all of my carpets, couches and chairs — and huge stains on my carpet from contractor boots. I had resigned myself to getting new carpet, but Mike was able to make everything look brand new… such a relief as I thought my furniture would never be the same, but it actually looks better than it did before! I was also going to get rid of a large sectional couch but decided to see Mike could do with that and it looks fantastic as well. He’s incredibly knowledgable when it comes to fabrics and stone floors — and all things carpet. Although it was quite upsetting to see what the construction had done to all my relatively new furniture and carpets, I never imagined it looking like new again. Mike is extremely dedicated, quite knowledgable and truly exceptional — and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I wanted them to clean two tile showers and one tile floor. The owner had me send him some photos. We spent half an hour on the phone talking about what the problem areas were. I asked what the next steps were. I was told to call the office and schedule an in-​person estimate with his son. Did that. Son shows. Said he would get back to me with estimate. Didn’t hear for a couple of days, so I called the office and asked for estimate via email. Within a day, I got the emailed estimate for both showers and the floor. I schedule the cleaning. Mind you, I’m wanting this all done before installing new frameless shower doors. The door people are waiting on all of this process. So… I have the shower door people make a special trip to remove one of the shower enclosure (the one I was nervous about doing myself). This leaves my daughter without a shower for a week. We make do, looking forward to those nice clean showers that were coming. The day the cleaners were to do their work, my husband and I removed the shower doors before he had to leave for work. Then, I spent the next couple of hours removing the enclosure and adhesive (mind you, I was taking work away from the shower door people). The owner of
Connoisseur Carpet, Upholstery, Tile, Stone & Grout Cleaning shows up, right on time, and stays for about an hour, going through the three rooms, again telling me all the problem areas. I figure this is just to let me know that it won’t look perfect. I didn’t expect perfect. But I did expect them to clean. After all, what was all that with the long phone conversation and the estimate with written bid for the work? Anyway, I was basically told that there was practically nothing they could do for me on ANY of the jobs. Well, I spent the next three hours trying to get the showers as clean as I could (recall, there were no enclosures so I couldn’t use a whole lot of water.)

I don’t usually do reviews for what is expected. However, Connoisseur did an outstanding job from start to finish. Call to make an appointment and if they don’t answer, a real person will call you back within 5 minutes. Mike and team showed up on time and did our carpets, marble floor and grout, as well as our tile shower. Honest, reasonable, on time and actually explain the process. The carpets and floors looked brand new. Then they follow up with a nice note of appreciation. Classy! Will surely recommend Connoisseur to all.

I tried to spot clean my 6 month old $ 5000.00 carpet with Oxy-​Clean (by the way don’t ever try this) it left several stains every where I tried to clean. I really thought I had permanently ruined my carpet, and would have to hide my horrible mistake with many throw rugs. I called Connoisseur carpet with cries of desperation, and they came to the rescue. They were able to completely correct my mistakes with the most beautiful cleaning I’ve ever seen. I have used them for a few years now, and have never been disappointed, and I don’t think you will be either.

Mike, Davis and Javier did amazing work on our 15-​year old couch and 6-​year old area rug. Both now look practically new!
Mike and crew were on time, highly professional and thorough. I look forward to hiring them again.

Mike has always rocked my needs. Often a tad distracted as quality craftsman in demand can be, once focused on task at hand, no other is so thorough and complete.
Haven’t seen him last few times though as son Davis fields my calls. He’s learned well his trade, even better his demeanor. Just as the demands on Mike, so too on Davis, yet you’d never know it. Calm and disarming beyond his years, skilled and attentive, Davis brings a welcome new aura to an already benchmark business model.
Five stars? Connoisseur deserves one more.

The very best ever! Unbelievable results. Really!!! We thought we would have to replace our carpeting. We were certain that the majority of the stains would never come out of the white carpet. Years of messy kids, a gigantic dog and many parties had horribly damaged our white Berber high end carpet. The idea was to get one more cleaning and then budget for new carpeting. But now we are set for years. The result is gorgeous and miraculous. Who knew? Do not hesitate. Hire these folks. They are the best. Polite, highly professional and committed to excellence. I called Connoisseur to clean the carpet at my bosses beach house after I read other Unilocal reviews. They got the dark unknown stain out of the white carpet. The crew was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable about the cleaning process. I am so glad I called them.

The crew was prompt and very friendly. I have an ecru sectional that was not too bad as I have tried to maintain it, but after 7 years of not professionally cleaning, I didn’t have high hopes. But, voila, it looks fantastic.
But what impressed me the most was the fact that all 3 men did not seem in any rush to «get the job done», as so many of us have experienced with services in our homes. They cared about the job they did and it sure shows.

I have only done a Unilocal review a few other times and I typically only do it when it’s a five star review. I have had my carpets cleaned multiple times and they have never turned out as well as they did with Conneisseur Carpets. The guys were in and out quickly yet the job was extremely well done and I absolutely will save them for future needs.

Chose to have my carpet cleaned by Connoisseur because of previous Unilocal reviews. Five stars is absolutely «spot on» so to speak! From Michelle in the office to Davis who came out everything was great. Reasonably priced, very helpful, friendly, and honest folks… Hadn’t had my carpets clean in at least 6 years. They look brand new!

Mike and the Connoisseur Carpet crew have been cleaning our carpets for over 11 years. They’re always really friendly, polite, helpful, reasonably priced, arrive as scheduled and do a FABULOUS job.
We’ve always had big dogs who trek plenty of dirt into the house, not to mention the occasional indoor toilet accidents as our dogs have aged. Connoisseur has always been successful in removing even the worst stains.
In spite of the occasional coffee spill, ground in dirt, dog poop and pee our carpets always look like new when the Connoisseur crew leaves!
We wouldn’t dream of having anyone else clean our carpets!

We had an excellent experience from beginning to end. Scheduling was quick and easy. Mike was on time and did a very thorough job of explaining the options for cleaning, with absolutely no pressure. His price was lower than the estimate given ahead of time on the telephone. Mike was able to recommend a local specialty company for cleaning our Persian rug. And our carpets look like new. We will definitely use Mike for our future carpet cleaning needs.

Mike and his crew have been cleaning the carpets at our vacation rental home in Santa Cruz for years. They are professional, prompt, efficient, friendly and most importantly, trustworthy.
They have always gotten every stain out of our carpets and as you might imagine with a rental… there have been MANY icky stains of every kind.
Most recently, we had our carpets cleaned in early June and 3 weeks later a renter spilled a whole bottle of red wine. I was in a panic with very little time between renters. Mike squeezed us into his busy schedule and cleaned it at no charge to us since we have been loyal customers. I seriously don’t know what we’d do without these guys. We get quite a bit of foot traffic at our Scotts Valley store, and our carpets began to show it. Enough so that I thought new carpeting might be in the works — ugh!
Enter Mike & his crew at Connoisseur! It was like having a make-​over for our carpets. I had NO IDEA OUR CARPETS COULD LOOK THIS GOOD!
It’s not as though we don’t take care of our carpets — we vacuum every day and have them cleaned 2−3+ times a year, either professionally by other companies or by our employees (using rental gear). The difference is night & day.
If you need your carpets cleaned, don’t waste your time or money elsewhere. Go with Connoisseur.
