They are closed on Sundays now, and open until 4pm on Saturdays. Unilocal won’t update it for some reason. My bf’s favorite kind of bread is now 5 bucks in the stores, so we come here.

Well it is a good deal for stuff like bread and pastry treats. I like the jelly jars cause they have a handle. I Stop here every so often. Its good. BUT no restrooms. sucks cause I just happened to need one and had to dance my way through the store.

The only place I will buy bread in Santa Cruz unless I want an Artisan loaf from a bakery. They have some really good deals here and lots of selection for Oroweat products. Definitely worth checking out.

SANTACRUZ’S BESTKEPTSECRET. A bread outlet? Doesn’t sound too exciting, but my gf and I got lost driving around and saw this place. It looked so interesting to go inside! We decided to make a pit stop and wow. I was kind of iffy at first because there were lots of black marks and red marks on the breads, so I thought are these old? The kind lady working there basically said that they are all freshly made and a black mark indicated that it was probably a day old, OR the bread is freshly made selling at a day old’s price. Basically everything here is cheaper than grocery stores and there are lots of bread options! They sell a bunch of snacks and donuts and what not. I got the Potato Bread and Raspberry Jam. Since both me and my gf spend at least $ 7 bucks the lady gave us EACH a free loaf of bread! And she gave us a membership card thing so that after you fill up your card you get something free or discount on your next purchase. Why didn’t I know about this before?! The staff is too friendly.
