A Wedding DJ here.
I gigged with Eric a few years back at two weddings, one at Seascape in Santa Cruz (it was a coldd January day) and another wedding in Monterey.
Often times, I provide ceremony music for processionals as well as sound support for the officiant for the ceremony and the vows of the newlyweds.
For a fun and classy touch, it’s always nice to partner with a musician to provide that live element.
This review is long long overdue.
As a fellow wedding professional, it’s a rare treat to be able to speak well of a fellow musician that can make your event an incredible experience.

Eric played during our wedding ceremony in September and we could not have been happier with our decision to work with him! Eric is extremely talented and we highly recommend him. He worked with us months in advance to choose our song selections and is a true professional. Hopefully we will have a chance to hear Eric play again soon!

I hired Eric for my Father’s birthday party and was extremely satisfied overall. I found him through Unilocal and then went to his website to review his videos. When communicating with Eric over email and phone about my intentions for the party, he was very responsive, professional, and my event was booked with ease. Eric arrived on time, set up quickly, and started playing as scheduled. I had given Eric a lot of flexibility on the music selection and he chose perfectly. Eric plays guitar beautifully and everyone thoroughly enjoyed his music. I highly recommend Eric for any event and should we have any parties in the future will definitely book him again.

My husband and I used Unilocal to get some ideas for ceremony and cocktail hour music for our wedding and found Eric. He was wonderful. Easy to get in touch with, prompt in responding, so nice with all my questions and his playing… amazing. It was perfect! He made our wedding day that much more special with his beautiful music. My wife (back when she was my fiancée) and I found Eric through Gig Salad and after listening to the audio clips on his website, decided to hire him to play during our wedding and the cocktail hour that followed it.
From the moment we first contacted him until he packed up his gear and left the wedding, Eric was a consummate professional. He helped us plan out what songs we’d use by playing clips of songs over the phone and giving us his recommendations. After this, unlike the rest of the people we worked with in planning our wedding, whenever I emailed Eric questions, he always responded promptly (with helpful answers). We ran all of our sound for the wedding through his equipment, and everything sounded great (especially his playing).
We’ll recommend Eric highly whenever we hear of anyone looking for a Spanish guitar player.

We hired Eric for our wedding this past June. Frankly, we decided to add a guitarist to our ceremony last minute so it was slim pickings by the time we started contacting guitarists. I was a little concerned Eric didn’t have that many reviews. In retrospect, I don’t understand why!
I’m so glad I went ahead and contacted him.
Eric was very responsive and happy to play a few samples for us over the phone. He guided us through the song selection process and was always readily available to answer any questions.
The day of our wedding he was on time, prepared and most importantly – played the guitar masterfully!
Eric did a great job adding musical sentiment to our ceremony and a joyful celebratory feeling to the reception.
He was one of the easiest vendors to work with. Reasonably priced and talented.

Eric was our guitarist for our wedding and he played beautifully. He was open to learning music which was a plus. We had him play a Sigur Ros song as part of the processional and he executed it well.
He has a lot of experience at weddings so he was able to know which songs to play during our cocktail hour to keep the mood light and fun. Our guests loved the music and I definitely would recommend him for parties and weddings.
