History
Established in 2000.
Jeremy Flanagan, owner and instructor, has been teaching private music lessons on clarinet, saxophone, flute, and voice for over 10 years. He studied music education and clarinet performance at the Crane School of Music (2000 – 2004) and San Francisco State University (2008 – 2010). He has studied with members of the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Orchestra of Northern New York, Schenectady Symphony, and the Alexander String Quartet. He has maintained private studios in California (Bay Area and San Francisco) and New York (Long Island, Albany, Glens Falls, and Saratoga Springs), working with students of all age and proficiencies.

Business Owner
Clarinetist Jeremy Flanagan has a Master’s degree in Solo Classical Performance from San Francisco State University, studying with Tony Striplen of the SF Opera Orchestra. He has performed with the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony, Symphony Parnassus, the Santa Cruz Symphony, New Music Works, The Santa Cruz Chamber Players, and the Old First Church Concert Series.
He currently resides in San Francisco and teaches private woodwind and voice students. He plans to pursue a PhD in musicology, studying the feminist implications of coloratura roles of Mozart’s operas, while continuing a lifelong exploration of the clarinet.
Jeremy has worked as music teacher of all different ages and disciplines in New York and has a Bachelor’s degree in Music education from the Crane School of Music. He has studied with members of the San Francisco Symphony, SF Opera Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Marin Symphony, and the Alexander String Quartet.
