He is a great individual to work with. Always ready to listen and take direction but at the same time has a keen eye for great shots. He is very fluid and covers the venue without you even knowing he is there.

Kaydin photographed our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. We knew we’d have plenty of posed shots the next day at the wedding, so we hired Kaydin to capture whatever candid shots he could of our close friends and family. His amiable and low key presence put everyone at ease. In result, every picture was beautiful and flattering! We all look happy and relaxed and like ourselves, with lovely back drops and artful lighting. He also managed to get a shot of every one of our sixty guests, with just the right balance of wedding party and immediate and extended family groups.

Kaydin Carlsen is a very fine photographer. One of the best I’ve ever seen in fact. He has an exceptional eye and makes the ordinary extraordinary. Kaydin’s photo of a man eating an apple is pure art. His photos of children make them into cherubs. His photos of my garden make it look like Eden. His photos are simple, classic and yet highly unique and unusual. You can’t go wrong with Kaydin. If you want an event to be memorialized in a truly beautiful and interesting way, he’s the photographer for you!
