The owner of Quality Carpet Care is Eric Scofield. Born and raised in Santa Cruz California, Eric has learned that running a local business in a harsh economy is difficult. With his friendly and loyal attitude to his customers, he is happily on his eighteenth year of business. He continues to utilize his skill and professionalism to make sure that his customers are satisfied of their cleaning needs at a fair price. Eric also offers environmentally safe products. Fantastic! Not only is Eric and his staff friendly and accommodating, they do a remarkable job every time with competitive prices. We have a dog & cat and every time our carpets sparkle with no sign of animals anywhere and eco friendly too. We recently used them for a move out and our landlords couldn’t believe we had animals. We continue to call Eric at least every 3 months with some emergency and he never disappoints. One of our bedrooms was flooding from under the house and he managed to save everything (also left dryers for 3 days checking in throughout). Remarkable and highly recommend him.

My carpets were filthy with dog pee and coffee. Nothing detoxes a room like a good environmentally friendly carpet cleaning! If asked, Eric uses all green products that work beautifully. He is extremely professional and kind. His many years of experience shows through on my pristine carpets, they look like new! I admire that this business is local and family run. I will continue to go to Quality Carpet Care for my carpet and furniture cleaning.

I have used and referred many carpet cleaners over the years, but I am so completely amazed at the professionalism and courtesy extended during the visits from this wonderful company. It starts with the initial phone call, whether you talk to someone right away or leave a message, the experience is easy & friendly. They show up on time and well prepared. They are fast & efficient. My carpeting & couch always look great! And Eric also had excellent suggestions for the upholstery and I’m thrilled with the results & the money that I saved. This company is also one of the most reasonable, but the quality of their work is outstanding! Hence the name…

Eric and his son cleaned two club chairs with back and seat cushions and a matching ottoman and a sofa with many cushions for me today. Their work is excellent, Eric is very good at explaining things, and the price was reasonable and far better than Connoisseur’s. I’ll call them hereafter whenever I need furniture or rugs cleaned. I highly recommend them.

Quality is a local, environmentally friendly company with outstanding service. Plus, they are just really nice people. I highly recommend them for rug and upholstery cleaning. They have cleaned my sectional sofa twice which was filled with stains and it looks brand new after they are finished! Plus, no fumes because of the products they use. And definitely affordable.

I have never written a review before but felt I needed to start after I received such great service from Quality Carpet Care and Upholstery Cleaning. Eric and his crew were professional, clean and knowledgeable. I had two sofas that were very expensive and I was very concerned about how they would be cleaned. Eric explained the process and did a sample section. They both turned out great and I am SO happy to have found a company in Santa Cruz that can do excellent work. I will absolutely use them in the future.

The name says it all with these guys! Quality Carpet Care has cleaned my home and office. They are true professionals. They left the carpets looking brand new, and more importantly, they were courteous and trustworthy with my furniture and pets.
Quality Carpet Care is the kind of family-​owned business that is getting harder and harder to find. This is NOT some scruffy character driving a corporate van, offering one-​size-​fits-​all cleaning for twenty bucks a room.
Eric and his team pay attention to the details others might overlook. They even left shoe covers for us to use while the carpets finished drying. Because they didn’t use any harsh chemicals, my cat was back in her favorite place on the couch minutes after the cleaners left.
I recommend Quality Carpet Care to all my friends. They are my first call every time I need carpets or furniture cleaned right.

We have used Quality Carpet Care several times now for our professional office, and we are extremely happy with the service. Eric, the owner, showed up, not only on time, but slightly early for the appointment, I pointed out the spots that needed extra attention, and set him loose on our carpet. I thoroughly trust him to be alone in our office and to lock the front door upon leaving.
I came in to find a fabulously clean carpet and everything looking really good. When you need carpet cleaning, Quality Carpet Care is the company you should definitely call. They are awesome!

The guys from Quality showed up on schedule, even called when they were only going to be a couple of minutes late, then did a FANTASTIC job, both in getting our carpets cleaned, and in being polite, helpful, and knowledgeable.
We thought we needed new carpets, but when they were done the carpets looked so good we’re putting that off.
Great quality, great service, nice people. I highly recommend them.

Eric at Quality Carpet Care is a life saver! My dog had a medical issue and there were a couple of major blood stains and bloody paw prints all over my office floor carpet — it looked like a crime scene. I had used Eric before to clean all the carpet in my house and was extremely satisfied so I called him up. He found time for me the next day and made my carpet look like new — he warned me that there would likely be some staining that would travel up the carpet threads in a day or two and to call. He came right out again and got the last bits of staining out. Eric is friendly, professional, cares about his work and charges a fair price. I would definitely recommend him!

Wow. Eric sure can do magic with carpets. We have a bunch of kids, 2 dogs and a cat. I have never seen our carpet this clean before. I have tried Coit, Stanley Steamer and one other local company. None come close to how good our carpet looks. Very competitive prices, polite, attention to detail and very professional. Make me feel good that we can keep our dollars local and get high quality service. Thanks again Eric!
