I had a great time learning how to surf from Reuben. I was a bit nervous about trying it, but he was so patient and knowledgeable about the ocean that I felt completely safe the whole time. There were a couple of times that I was feeling tired and wanted to give up, but Reuben was awesome about encouraging me to keep paddling for waves.
The class wasn’t so big that I felt ignored, and small enough that I got to enjoy being in the ocean with the other students learning how to surf.
All in all, a great experience, and now I’m stoked to get my own board and wetsuit. Hope to see you out there!
